KEVIN AND KAREN’S Pet of the Week Hi there! I’m Oaklee, a 37-pound Border Collie mix with a smart mind, a loving heart, and lots of personality! I can be a little nervous when meeting new people or exploring new places, so I’ll do best with calm, patient introductions that help me feel safe. Once I warm up, I absolutely adore attention and spending time with my favorite people. I know my name and will happily come when you call, especially if snacks are involved because I’m a foodie! I love using my nose to investigate everything around me, so scent games, snuffle mats, and enrichment activities are a great way to keep my brain busy. Fetch is another favorite, and I’m great at bringing the ball right back so the fun can keep going. As a Border Collie mix, I need an active home that can keep both my body and mind engaged. I’ll thrive with exercise, training, adventures, and fun tasks each day. Because I can be anxious and appreciate a predictable environment, I’d do best in a home without small kids. With patience, structure, and lots of love, I’ll be a loyal, affectionate companion who’s happiest learning, playing, and being with my people!
