KEVIN AND KAREN’S Pet of the Week Hi there! I’m Speck, a 12-pound Terrier Mix puppy with lots of growing, learning, and exploring ahead of me! I’m still figuring out this big world, so I’m looking for a family who can give me plenty of patience and guidance as I learn important life skills. I’ll need help with basic manners, potty training, leash walking, and learning what’s expected of me as I grow. I have plenty of puppy energy, so playtime, toys, affection, and positive experiences will be a big part of helping me become a happy and confident adult dog. I’d love opportunities to explore, learn new things, and play fun games that keep me busy. I’m sure there will be some puppy silliness along the way, but with structure, positive reinforcement, and lots of love, I know I can become the best boy I can be. I may only weigh 12 pounds right now, but I have a whole lot of personality, love, and potential packed into this little Terrier Mix body! I’m looking for a family who is ready to put in the time and effort that comes with raising a young pup. In return, I’ll bring lots of fun, cuddles, puppy antics, and unconditional love into your life!
If you’d like to meet Speck or any of the other loveable friends at the shelter, please contact us to schedule a visit. 1820 East St. Patrick Street, Rapid City, SD 57703 Call: 605-394-4170 • www.hsbh.org
