SEPTEMBER 17, 2026
KEVIN AND KAREN’S Pet of the Week Hey there! I’m Lennon, a playful Terrier mix puppy with a whole lot of growing, learning, and exploring ahead of me! I’m still figuring out this big world, so I’ll need a family who can give me plenty of patience and guidance as I learn important life skills. I’ll need help learning my manners, potty training, and walking on a leash, and I’ll do best with someone who understands that puppies need consistency and plenty of positive reinforcement. I’m also going through the teething stage, so I’m definitely going to need lots of appropriate toys and chew toys to keep my little teeth occupied! I have plenty of puppy energy and will need lots of playtime every day to help me stay happy, healthy, and out of trouble. I’d love opportunities to explore, learn new things, and play fun games that challenge my brain. Puppy playdates will also be a great way for me to learn how to interact appropriately with other dogs and build my confidence. I’m looking for a family who is ready to put in the time and effort to help me grow into a wonderful adult dog. In return, I’ll bring plenty of puppy fun and love into your life!
If you’d like to meet Lennon or any of the other loveable friends at the shelter, please contact us to schedule a visit. 1820 East St. Patrick Street, Rapid City, SD 57703 Call: 605-394-4170 • www.hsbh.org
