When most people think about cabinetry, they think kitchen. Maybe a bathroom vanity. It’s an understandable assumption.

Kitchen cabinets are the first thing anyone notices when they walk into a home, and they tend to dominate every renovation conversation.

StarMark Cabinetry® has been quietly redefining that conversation for nearly 50 years. Founded in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1977, the company is now owned by MasterBrand® Cabinets and manufactures for dealers across the country while maintaining its roots in the community where it started.

AI-generated renderings are increasingly part of how people explore ideas before talking to a designer. Dale sees value in that because a customer who comes in with a sense of direction saves time for everyone. But he’s quick to note what AI can’t do: “You can paint a great picture, but it doesn’t always have the knowledge of how to get the construction done.” The design team closes that gap between a rendering that looks compelling and a cabinet that installs correctly and lasts for decades.

“Sometimes people have ideas, and sometimes they don’t,” Dale explains, “but we can send them home with three-dimensional views of their space. We try to make things easy for people and really help them see what their finished product is going to be.”

A two-story foyer accented by a contemporary chandelier marks the stunning entry to this stunning luxury shouse, where elegance meets practicality.

Designed and built by Hahn Custom Homes, the property melds a spacious single-family home with an attached, heated and fully finished 50-by-56-foot shop/garage. This six-bedroom, 3.5-bath, two-story home offers 4,280 square feet of versatile living space.

The newly built home sits on more than an acre at 27240 S. Noble Circle in Tea, a jewel located in a new development with paved roads and a peaceful pond nearby.

Landscaping, sidewalks, and a sprinkler system will be added soon to complete the exterior. Painted LP siding, accented by stone, wood columns, and trim, adds durability and style.

The main level is suited for an active family, entertaining, or both, with warm, sophisticated color choices that have drawn positive attention from homebuyers.

“People are saying, ‘Wow, finally a house that actually has some color in it,’” states Kasey Hahn, owner of Hahn Custom Homes. “They see color on the walls and wood tones, and they absolutely love it.”

“Uses for the shop/garage are as limitless as a homeowner’s imagination,” Kasey adds. At his own home, he installed a swing and an indoor playground. Other clients have used the space to store business vehicles and equipment, install a golf simulator, or create a man cave.

Built for convenience and security, smart thermostats manage heating, cooling, and heated flooring across six zones. An eightcamera security system and a Ring doorbell provide monitoring, and the exterior is wired for permanent lighting for holiday or year-round use.

“All smart features can be controlled remotely by phone,” Kasey explains, allowing homeowners to check on the property from anywhere.

Kasey limits his output to two or three homes per year and does much of the labor himself, indoors and out. “That way I’m not a mass builder,” he says. “I treat each one like a masterpiece. My goal is to make the home-building process simple, enjoyable and personal. I work closely with each client to bring their vision to life.”
