Fellowships and Financing Merit Awards GPS provides funding to about 25 percent of the incoming classes based on academic performance, test results and personal and professional accomplishments.

Resident Tuition Fellowship for Non-California residents All U.S. citizens and permanent residents who apply by the Jan. 15 deadline and meet the fellowship prerequisites will be offered a California Resident Fellowship.

The fellowship is equivalent to the cost of non-California resident tuition, during the first year of study. Fellowship criteria (must meet 3 of the 4): 3.5 GPA; 70th percentile GREQ/GMATQ; 70th percentile GREV/GMATV; and 4.0 GREA/ GMATA score.

Teaching Assistantships, Researchers, Readers and Tutors These positions typically work 10 to 20 hours per week. In most cases, they also offer graduate student health insurance remission and a partial university-fee remission.

GPS-FUNED-CONACYT Fellowship This partnership offers qualified Mexican students partial tuition funding while also opening the door to consideration for a matching fellowship and low-interest loans.

Tribal Membership Initiative All members of a federally recognized tribe of any of the original peoples of North America or the Hawaiian Islands who enroll in our programs will be eligible to receive a two-year fellowship, which includes a $15,000 per year stipend and up to $25,000 per year allotment for fees.

Robertson Foundation for Government Fellowship The foundation aims to train and educate men and women for government service, and the fellowship covers tuition, fees, stipend and summer internship support.

Graduates commit to work for the U.S. federal government for a minimum of 3 of their first 7 years after graduation.

Summer Internship Funding Our career services office provides financial support to students with unpaid internships during the summer between their first and second year.
