William Bordeaux, MPIA ‘05 Global Pursuit Leader

“UC San Diego has a huge impact in terms of service to our community. IR/PS students are an exceptional bunch within the university family — most of us understand our place in the world acutely and leave with an even larger commitment to serving others than before we a rrived. Many of us also benefitted greatly from the generosity of others. I feel it’s my duty, to not only help those like me who received support, but to try to extend the reach and breadth of the IR/PS and UC San Diego mission as much as possible.”

Kathleen J. Donovan, MPIA ‘12

Analyst, U.S. Government Accountability Office “As a native Californian, I appreciate the strong role the University of California has played in our state’s development and I want to ensure it can continue to shape California for the better. As I now live across the country, giving to IR/PS keeps me connected to my home state and at the same time offers the school a financial return for its investment in me. My support helps maintain a solid reputation through faculty retention, scholarships and programming, which enhances the value of my degree.”
