MAINTENANCE MANIA RETURNS! COME CHEER ON OUR LOCAL MAINTENANCE TECHS ON NOVEMBER 18! Join your family, friends and industry peers on Thursday, November 18 at 5:30 pm to cheer on our local maintenance technicians competing in Maintenance Mania! Held this year at Dave & Buster’s in the Springdale area, this is the first step on the way to earning a spot in the national competition to be held in San Diego, California, in June 2022. Maintenance Mania® is a national program offered by NAA and presenting sponsor HD Supply (HDS), in which maintenance technicians compete against each other in various skill-based games. At the end of the competition year, NAA will offer the top participant from each of the NAA regions, plus 10 wild card participants, the chance to compete in the National Championship. GCNKAA will also give local competing individuals various awards for first, second and third place in each game and overall score. More than 35 competitors are registered to compete in the sev-

THE GAMES Maintenance Mania consists of several skill-based table games based on common maintenance activities and a race car competition. Participants build their race cars prior to the event, aiming to have the fastest and most creative car built out of maintenance supplies. NEW LEADERSHIP ELECTED AT OCTOBER GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Congratulations to the candidates recently elected to the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association board of directors and Associate Council. Elections were held at the General Membership Meeting on October 19 at the Kenwood Country Club. Please join us in welcoming once again to the board: Todd Hignite with Hearth Home Communities; and Megan Lawhon with PLK Communities. Welcome, also, to the individuals rejoining our board after a brief hiatus: Oskana Lukjanenko with Denizen Management; and Mike Markus with BRG Apartments. Also, join us in congratulating the following associate members on their recent election to the Associate Council: Mark Arnold, Royal Finish; Courtney Griffin, Precision Concrete Cutting; John Gruen, Cincinnati Coin Laundry; Jeffrey Holbrook, Acme Lock Systems; Rick Holste, Chadwell Supply; Jason Lonsbury, Pinnacle Paving & Sealing; and Dennis Merkle, Advanced Turf Solutions.
