(Excerpt Press Release_Group Exhibition Twentieth Anniversary of Occurrence Centre, MontrĂŠal, September 2009) Revisiting his past through the mix and reprocessing of cultural elements ranging from underground music scene, psychedelic culture and travels in the middle east (Afghanistan-India- Iran- Israel), Archambault worked on a 3d production that questioned a form of statuary, developping a sculptural language whereas the sculpture becomes a platform - deceptively allegorical - for the display of its own tenuous existence and identity.

Through the use of folk craftsmanship; structures of patterned procedures and geometric, bounded and unbounded forms projected a ritualistic obsessiveness of process, and willful crude physicality, and set terms of a new allusive primitivism in his work.
