Inspired by architecture, the latest edition of our magazine features a resolutely graphic and restrained design. The modern décor of a loft-style apartment in the town of Neuchâtel provided the perfect setting for the dazzling gem-set jewellery collections by Piaget and Messika, as well as sparkling jewellery models by Tirisi Moda and Morganne Bello. Also infused with the architectural spirit, watch design offers a new take on modern creativity through flowing lines, pure dials and apparently simple horological complications. This approach is expressed with elegant understatement in the extra-thin watches from Jaeger-LeCoultre and Piaget, and with respectful admiration through reinterpretations of the famous Tank watch by Cartier, now equipped with the in-house made self-winding movement. C’est devenu en moins d’un an l’un des grands succès de Hublot, une montre extra-plate squelette, une Classic Fusion dont le design a été affiné tout en conservant les codes dynamiques et contemporains immédiatement reconnaissables de Hublot. Présentée l’année dernière à Bâle d’abord en King Gold et en titane, c’est maintenant avec une boîte forte élégante réalisée toute en céramique noire polie et satinée que s’exprime la nouvelle Classic Fusion Extra-Plate Squelette. Avec un diamètre de 45 mm, cette montre est équipée du nouveau mouvement Classico de Hublot entièrement conçu et développé dans sa Manufacture à Nyon. Quant aux versions en King Gold et en titane, elles sont, cette année, proposées dans un diamètre plus petit de 42 mm. In less than a year, it has become one of Hublot’s most successful models: the Classic Fusion extra-thin skeleton watch features a slimmer more refined design that nonetheless retains the brand’s instantly recognisable dynamic and contemporary lines. Presented at last year’s Baselworld show in King Gold and titanium, the new Classic Fusion Extra-Thin Skeleton now appears with an extremely elegant polished and satin- brushed black ceramic case. This 45 mm-diameter watch is equipped with the new Classico movement by Hublot, entirely designed and developed in its Manufacture in Nyon. Parmi les nouveautés 2013 de la marque Panerai, nous retrouvons le boîtier Radiomir 1940 dans plusieurs rééditions fascinantes. Ce boîtier incarne la transition, intervenue autour des années 40, entre le premier boîtier en forme de coussin, caractéristique des modèles Radiomir de 1936/1938, et le boîtier plus robuste de la Luminor. L’union entre Officine Panerai et le monde de la voile classique est également à l’honneur cette année avec notamment la Luminor 1950 Regatta 3 Days Chrono Flyback Titanio dotée d’une fonction compte à rebours, spécialement étudiée pour aider les navigateurs à réussir le départ des courses. The Golden Bridge baguette movement by Corum has turned a lot of heads since it was first presented in 1980.
