Moments here include sitting around the comfortable couch and chairs in the classic living room with vaulted ceilings and lake decor and massive fireplace. Someone in the crowd may play the antique piano while the rest will gladly sing out of tune. A quiet reading moment on the leather chair in the corner.

Mornings around the vintage kitchen on the large table lit by the antler inspired light. Kids will play Rock Scissors Paper to decide the lucky ones who get to sleep in the loft above the porch area or the coveted beach side canopy bed adorned with lights and vines. This house sleeps up to nine. Of course the parents have already claimed the exceptional lake view master suite and sliders to a deck.

The Guest Lodge at Umbrella Point Just beyond the private gated entrance is the guest house at Umbrella Point.

Designed as a lake house retreat with an eclectic selection of naturally inspired furnishings and fixtures. Enjoy time together in its very large well appointed kitchen and dining area that opens to a warm living room. The four bedrooms can comfortably sleep up to 10 people and a baby (crib provided). On the ground level is a large garage with ping pong table and laundry. You are in a separate private building to the main lodge next to the boat house yet near all of the beaches and other amenities of the property.

The Tiny Home at Umbrella Point For additional space This Tiny Home is availalble between the boathouse and main house. It has all the emenities of home-just smaller. It includes a full kitchen with stove, dishwasher and frig, living room with dining table, couch, TV and electric fireplace, a small primary bedroom with double bed, another small bedroom with a bunk bed, a low loft area with mattress, and a compact full bath. Outside is a deck you can enjoy partial views.

Wolfeboro History Wolfeboro, settled in 1768, was granted by Governor John Wentworth and named for General Wolfe, a hero of the Battle of Quebec. Colonial Governor John Wentworth, his nephew, established Kingswood, an estate on Lake Wentworth, making it the “Oldest Summer Resort in America”.

With the end of the Civil War and the building of the Wolfeboro Railroad in 1872, tourism began to come to this charming town.

The historic Depot building still remains. The track now serves as an 11 mile walking and bike path past Crescent Lake and Lake Wentworth, ending in the town of Wakefield.

Lake Winnipesaukee is the largest lake in New Hampshire at over 44,000 acres and 200 feet deep surrounded by mountain vistas and the best that Mother Nature can provide.
