Are you ready to take your family on an exciting adventure to start off 2020 with a bang?
Our family trip to Peru was by far one of the most exciting and inspiring vacations we ever took.
We began our adventure to Paracas where we took a boat trip through the “Mini Galapagos” islands where we saw sea lions lounging on huge rocks and a sea of birds covering the islands.
The next stop was sand duning and sand duning down the Dunas de Ica did not disappoint! We rode in open jeeps with a driver who drove like Dale Earnhardt Jr.! It felt like a fast and Furious roller coaster winding through the dunes. Then he stopped on top of the huge sand dune mountain and said to “get out.” He gave us a small plastic sled to ride down the huge sand dune face first! OK...we can do this. The kids quickly jumped out of the Jeep, hopped on the sled face first, laughing all the way down.

We are off to the Sacred Valley where we can drive our own ATVs through the beautiful picturesque Sacred Valley. We drove through the mountainside and through charming, old towns passing herds of llamas along the way.
The grand finale has arrived. Yes, today we will go see one of the seven wonders of the world...Machu Picchu!
We climbed to the top of the man-made village which was formed back in 1450. Machu Picchu was completely awe-inspiring and magical. There are no words worthy to describe the incredible, amazing natural beauty. I guess that’s why it’s one of the seven wonders of the world.
Simply unforgettable.
