Six etudes that feature a specific technique/style/pitches:
I. etude made up of minor 2nds; specifically G# and A.
II. etude representing E Major and E Dominant 7 Chord.
III. etude showcasing a battle between major and minor chords. In this case: Bb major and Bb minor.
In addition, both Bb major and Bb minor reference a few quotations from orchestral works.
IV. etude that displays minimalism among three pitches (E-F-G).
V. etude that uses five pitches in a call-and-response setting within a thick texture (Eb-F-Gb-G-A).
VI. the study of the pedal. Creates thick textures that can result in soft harmonics
from the combination of various pitches.
