MICHAEL JENKINS OWNER OF AND FORMER LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER FOR

In 2018, after being invited by the Media and Marketing Ministry to assist the creative team at House of Hope, I immediately committed myself to serving the ministry through design, branding, print, and visual communication. What began as assisting with a few creative projects quickly evolved into years of consistent service across nearly every area of ministry life.
From sermon series graphics, ministry campaigns, anniversaries, conferences, and special events, to printed materials, branded signage, digital promotions, stage visuals, and social media assets, it has been an honor to help shape and support the visual identity of the House of Hope Atlanta over the past eight years.
After leadership quickly recognized both the quality and volume of my contributions, I was brought onto payroll — something for which I remain sincerely grateful. Over time, the ministry’s creative needs continued to expand, and for a significant period, I served as the primary, and at times only, designer supporting the ministry’s broad range of creative and communication needs. This often included managing high workloads, coordinating projects across ministries, and helping maintain consistency in House of Hope’s overall visual presentation.
During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I remained committed to supporting the ministry’s transition into online engagement and digital communication. Even during seasons when compensation was inconsistent, I continued showing up to assist with recordings, graphics, and creative support because I believed in the importance of the ministry’s mission during that critical time.
Along the way, I was humbled to receive affirmation from leadership, including comments from the COO regarding the significant improvement in the ministry’s visual presentation and graphics since my involvement began.
The work presented throughout these pages represents a carefully selected overview of years of creative contributions across multiple areas of ministry life. While extensive, this collection is still only a sampling of the overall body of work completed during my time serving House of Hope.
This portfolio is not presented as a request for position or recognition, but rather as a reflection of years of dedicated service, creative investment, and commitment to excellence. It also represents my continued passion for helping ministries communicate with clarity, excellence, and impact.

Over the past eight years, I have been honored to contribute to the visual growth, communication, and creative development of House of Hope Atlanta through branding, design, print production, digital media, environmental graphics, and strategic creative support.
This collection reflects far more than individual graphics or campaigns. It represents years of creative problem-solving, leadership, consistency, adaptability, and professional investment into helping the ministry communicate effectively across multiple platforms, audiences, and initiatives.
As churches and organizations continue navigating an increasingly visual and digital landscape, strong creative direction and cohesive communication remain essential components of meaningful engagement and organizational excellence.
My hope is that this portfolio not only documents past contributions, but also demonstrates the level of creative strategy, execution, and vision required to support a ministry of this scale and impact.
Thank you again for the opportunity to have contributed to that work.
