About.
Background.
My work explores the relationship between people, place, and materiality — with a particular focus on community-driven design, sustainable strategies, and the role of detail in shaping spatial experience. Graduating from Newcastle University, I developed a foundation in design thinking that runs through every scale I work at, from conceptual sketch to detailed construction. section. For me, each stage of drawing — hand, model, or technical — is a way of thinking through a problem, not just recording a solution.
My photography is driven by a passion for travel and documenting lived experience. Through the lens, I explore the relationship between people, space and movement, capturing moments that reveal the character of place. Working across urban and natural settings, I build a visual record that reflects both narrative and spatial understanding, sharpening how I read context, perspective and detail. For me, photography is a tool for storytelling, translating atmosphere and emotion into a visual language that shapes how I interpret the world.

Growing up travelling gave me an early appreciation for culture and architecture, which still shapes my photography today. I focus on how people, place and movement shape lived experience, capturing both the physical qualities of architecture and the stories within it. Travel takes me through dense urban streets and open natural landscapes, each framing its own story of context, culture and identity.
