Cafe DUMBO, Brooklyn - 2022 ALA Studios: Designer The design for this beverage cafe serving Korean bingsoo sundaes and bubble tea, explores the idea of a ‘Lazy Sunset’ to a give customers a calming atmosphere to settle in and enjoy their time spent in the cafe. The overall space is carved out of a series of soft curves, from the serpentine benches at the front of the space to the counter and arches in the service area, subtly referencing the rounded shape of boba clusters and influenced by the experience of a lazy river. 6

Office New York, New York - 2022 ALA Studios: Designer The design for Athena Club’s new Manhattan headquarters translates the self-care brand’s visual identity into a welcoming space for working. We used Athena Club’s distinctive color palette, logos, patterns, bold lines, and shapes as a jumping off point to carefully curate and craft the office and bring the brand’s visuals to life. 12

Office New York, New York - 2022 ALA Studios: Designer We turned what was once a generic set of offices in New York City into a dynamic and highly collaborative 12,500 square-foot workspace for a global energy drink company. The reimagined space captures the adventurous spirit of the company, its values, and the outdoor endeavors it supports. Our emphasis was on designing a collaborative, flexible space, over more traditionally individualized, fixed spaces for work that allows for many different configurations for working, learning, collaborating, and socializing. 18

LANDSBERG HOUSE 27
Renovation Port Washington, NY - 2016 Stephen Moser Architect: Intern The Landsberg House was originally designed in 1951 by architect William Landsberg. The renovation preserved the modernist style of the floating box with simple lines. The kitchen was styled to suit the clients’ needs, including a teppanyaki cooking island in the kitchen.

BIRDSONG 31
Ground-Up Austerlitz, NY - Under Construction ALA Studios: Architect The design for Birdsong was heavily influenced by the avian wildlife abundant in the Berkshires region of New York State. Since the site was so remote, the client requested that we design the house to accommodate a rainwater collection system and a drinking water collection system from a pond on site. In addition, we took into account a geothermal heat pump and solar energy collection systems so the project could thrive off-grid. 32

W 79TH STREET 37
Parks & Recreation Manhattan, NY - In Construction HDR: Architectural Coordinator The West 79th Street Rotunda is a renovation project that has been in the works for over 30 years. While drafting the plans for this project, we wanted to emulate the intricate drawings of the original plans from 1936. The rotunda will be renovated to its original condition with the addition of new office spaces for the NYDPR.

BABYLON STATION 39
LIRR Station Babylon, NY - Proposal HDR: Architectural Coordinator The LIRR wanted to renovate Babylon Station to make it more accessible, and to encourage communters to use the facilities inside of the building. In addition to these changes, HDR proposed a new secondary hub that would serve the majority of commuters coming from Babylon Station’s major parking areas.

Subway Station Toronto, Canada - In Construction HDR: Architectural Coordinator The Ontario Line is a 15.6-kilometre stand-alone rapid transit line that will connect the Ontario Science Centre to Exhibition/Ontario Place. Over half of the route is planned to run underground through new tunnels, with the remainder running along elevated and at-grade rail corridor sections of track. It will provide faster, more frequent and reliable access to rapid transit as well as improve the quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time 46
