MICA’s PreCollege Art & Design Residency Program offers rising high school juniors and seniors college-level art experience. Take part in an intensive and transformative experience with creative-minded peers, and learn new skills that help you explore the “why” behind your art.

Welcome to Charm City

Our campus is centrally located and easy to get around in the beautiful neighborhood of Bolton Hill, located in the city of Baltimore. You’ll find both historic architecture and modern spaces on our campus. Historic buildings have been renovated into campus spaces through urban reuse, while other spaces have been designed and built specifically for MICA, like the Brown Center, Gateway, and Dolphin Design Center.

So much about experiencing college is also about the community you create around you. Our four residence halls are apartment style and within walking distance to our campus,

Housing is guaranteed for incoming first year students, with some spaces reserved for transfer and graduate students. Aside from living spaces, our residential halls also provide two black box theaters, a late night grill/cafe, our main dining facility, fitness center, student exhibition galleries, large studio spaces, and more!

Our 90-minute walking tours have been designed for you and your family to see all that our campus has to offer. You will be guided through the historic neighborhood of Bolton Hill to see our stateof-the-art studios, classrooms, apartment style residence halls, and so much more!

MICA Preview Days

Hosted by MICA’s Admission team, our Preview Days give an in-depth look into MICA’s flexible curriculum, engaging student life, and state-of-the-art studio spaces! Preview Days Include a presentation about MICA’s campus and curriculum, a Q&A with current students, a campus tour, and complimentary lunch at Meyerhoff Dining Hall.
