Oliver ran for the Georgia senate, earning a minority of the vote. Oliver’s political views trend towards the preservation of individual rights, including the right to defense, and the 2nd Amendment. Jill Stein, physician and eco-activist, is running for president for the Green Party. Stein is known for strong advocacy for environmental and social causes. This election marks Stein’s third time running for president. Her Green Party platform emphasizes a “real green new deal” to address climate change, transition the U.S. toward renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gasses. She is anti-war and supports cutting the defense budget, advocates for diplomacy and using resources domestically toward healthcare and education. She supports reproductive rights, advocating for universal health care, stricter gun laws and comprehensive immigration reform.
