GOOD FOR YOU, OHIO, THE NATION.
Every day, all day, we’re helping students get an education and get to work in Ohio and beyond. Fact is, every degree we offer was created to benefit both you and the communities we serve. Designed to be accessible, affordable, flexible and loaded with powerful support to meet students’ needs. And crafted to meet the specific demands of communities—your communities—across the region. As well as those across the state and throughout the nation.
SEE FOR YOURSELF. Explore the following pages. We provide high-demand education options, so our graduates will find themselves in high demand by employers near and far. Last year, 100 percent of our Engineering Technology and Criminal Justice graduates were employed upon graduation. Then there’s nursing. It’s not just one of the highest job growth sectors in Ohio—it’s one of the highest in the nation. And across all disciplines, nearly 98 percent of our 2014-2015 grads found themselves employed or continuing their education in 2015-2016. Because we offer powerful, relevant degrees so you can get in, get out and get on with the next stage of your career.

CHANGE YOUR LIFE IN A
MAJOR WAY.
Every Miami education is built on a rock-solid foundation of liberal arts. Because we don’t believe in just preparing you for today—we believe in preparing you for life. You’ll leave here broadly knowledgeable about the world. With a greater understanding of arts and sciences. With a global perspective on people and places—what makes them similar, what makes them different. And, importantly, you’ll learn to think critically, reason effectively and research, write and communicate clearly. No matter your life path, your age or your background. No matter where you go or what you do. You’ll be ready to take on just about anything that life, or a future employer, throws at you. There are a few things you can always count on. A Miami degree is one of them.

Like a world of exotic plants thriving underneath 11,000 square feet of glass in the middle of Ohio. MIAMI HAMILTON
DR. MARK KREKELER
Associate Professor of Geology and Environmental Earth Science Who knew the yellow painted stripes down the middle of the road could be harmful to river inhabitants? Dr. Krekeler and his students, that’s who. It’s one of the many research discoveries in Mineralogy and Environmental Science they’ve made over the years. He encourages new thinking. And collaboration. Especially between undergraduate and graduate students. Teams formed here frequently go on to present their projects at regional and national scientific conferences.
“I think of Miami Hamilton as the smart school. Convenient, economical and a great education. Students come here from all walks of life, and we are united in our desire to improve our lives." 18

DR. JANET MARSHALL
Lecturer, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Professors at Miami Regionals are always looking for ways to make the classroom more engaging. Like Dr. Marshall, who won a statewide outstanding teacher award for 20142015. She uses iPad applications to model chemical compounds and experiments, visually bringing organic chemistry to life for students. Professor Marshall even developed a popular new course on chemistry and food. And because her teaching style is so effective, many of her students go on to graduate programs and score above the 90th percentile on the American Chemical Society’s national exam.

CAMPU S PRE VIE W DAYS We offer opportunities to take “all-inclusive” two-hour campus tours throughout the year. This is your chance to learn about our academic programs and get introduced to the many student-centered services available to you.
TALK AND TO U R Looking for a more personal tour experience? Maybe one of our hour-long, small-group tour experiences is right for you. With a warm beverage of your choice in hand, you will have the opportunity to chat with an admission counselor and tour the campus.
