The Great National Parks Summer Trek is an experience of a lifetime in which students explore the most amazing National Parks America has to offer. Our journey begins among the majestic Rockies in Rocky Mountain National Park. From there, we explore nature’s architecture in Arches National Park, continuing on to the haunting cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde National Park. On our next stop, trekkers take in the most dazzling geologic features of our west, the Grand Canyon. On our last stop during this amazing voyage, we hike in the serene mountains and canyons of Zion National Park.

Throughout the week, we will be on and off campus, participating in fun outdoor adventures. We will experience the thrills of the swamp buggy and get up close to alligators while riding the airboats at Billie Swamp Safari. At Lion Country Safari, we will become part of the herd while encountering 900 animals from Africa. For our final day, we will experience the heart-pounding, pulse-racing dips and curves on the 35 different slides at Rapids Water Park. On campus we will canoe, fish, build fires, and try skills in archery. COEP will provide lunch, and each child will also receive a T-shirt.
