THIRD-PARTY PROVIDED CAMPS Mahogany has collaborated with four incredible organizations to offer a diverse range of options for children in our community. These unique camps do not provide pre or post-camp care. Additionally, all camp leaders have undergone specialized training along with first aid certification and police information checks to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers.

THIRD-PARTY PROVIDED CAMPS WEEK TWO: CANSAIL SAILING CAMP (8 years to 12 years) CANSail learn to sail programs are a safe, fun, and active learning environment suited for the age and stage of development of the youth participants. The CANSail 1 "Introduction to Sailing" course teaches youth sailors ages 8-14 the fundamental sailing skills including basic sheeting, steering, and boat handling on all points of sail. By the end of this weeklong course, young sailors will have developed a solid set of competencies and skills. [full description on Ivrnet]

WEEK THREE: CANSAIL SAILING CAMP (8 years to 12 years) CANSail learn to sail programs are a safe, fun, and active learning environment suited for the age and stage of development of the youth participants. WEEK FOUR: FILM CAMP IN A BOX (9 years to 14 years) Filled with action, adventure, and a lot of comedy with Film Camp in A Box Lego Animation.

Mentored by master filmmakers, campers will engage in hands-on exploration of the stopmotion animation process, including pre-production, production and post-production.

Working in small crews, they will learn about stop-motion animation, set design, script writing and editing.

WEEK SIX: ENGINEERING FOR KIDS CAMP (5 years to 7 years) Junior Inventors A week of fun, creativity, and of course -- Engineering! Over the course of a week, kids will invent new machines and explore creative design solutions using the Engineering Design Process. Design your own Drawing Robot, make your own Playdough, build your own Magical Boomerang Can, Poppers, catapult, and more! Go Robot Mouse and Code Learn basic coding and engineering with the fun robot mouse. The camp provides the perfect hands-on introduction to coding concepts, computational thinking, and problemsolving skills. Campers will then enhance their storytelling and coding skills as they utilize Scratch to build their characters and scenes and bring them to life through interactive stories and games. Join us as we go through the journey of a video game designer and learn how to design, create, and code your very own video game using MakeCode Arcade! During the MakeCode Arcade with Meowbit camp, kids will learn how to code video games and bring them to life on their handheld gaming device, a Kittenbot Meowbit! WEEK EIGHT: PUDDLE OF MUD DANCE EXPLOSION (4 years to 6 years) Join Puddle of Mud Productions for a week exploding with dance styles! We will look at jazz, tap, ballet, creative movement, hip-hop and more. A great introduction to the world of dance!
