WHO WE ARE About

In the Fall of 2008, the community of Mahogany was established by Hopewell Residential Shortly thereafter, Mahogany was awarded “Calgary’s New Community of the Year, 2009” Since then the community of Mahogany continues to grow and has won “Calgary Community of the Year” for 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2022, as well as “Alberta’s Community Development of the Year” in 2014. The Mahogany Homeowners Association is a non-profit organization established for residents of Mahogany to give them the everlasting value of living in an exceptional community. Fill your week with action, adventure, and a lot of comedy with Film Camp in a Box Lego Animation Camp. Mentored by master filmmakers, campers will engage in hands-on exploration of the stop-motion animation process, including pre-production, production and post-production. Working in small crews, they will learn about stop-motion animation, set design, script writing and editing Campers will then create their own stop-motion animation and edit a short film and movie trailer, complete with music, voice, sound effects and special effects Movies will be presented at our red carpet, popcorn film festival and archived on our digital theatre
