CHALET DES LÉGENDES:
THE VAL D’ISÈRE CHALET BRINGING A NEW APPROACH TO ALPINE LIVING Following its debut in the 2025/26 ski season, Chalet des Légendes heads into its second winter in Val d’Isère shortlisted for World’s Best New Ski Chalet 2026 at the World Ski Awards. Exclusively available for rent through the luxury alpine hospitality operator Consensio Chalets, Chalet des Légendes is situated in the quiet, elevated enclave of Les Balmes, just a short distance from the centre of the resort and a three-minute drive from the Olympique and Solaise gondolas. The expansive 355m² property sleeps eight adults and four children across five ensuite bedrooms, pairing contemporary

alpine design with spaces made for the rhythm of a week in the mountains: long ski days, evenings around the fire, time together over dinner and somewhere to switch off afterwards.
A CHALET WITH VAL D’ISÈRE AT ITS HEART Rather than following a traditional alpine aesthetic, Chalet des Légendes takes its cues from its surroundings in subtler ways. Natural materials sit alongside sculpted lighting and clean
architectural lines, while artwork and portraits pay tribute to French skiing champions who left their mark on Val d’Isère’s sporting history, including Henri Oreiller and Jean-Claude Killy, adding a sense of place and story to the space. At the centre of the chalet is a double-height living space framed by mountain views, with an openplan dining area and fully stocked bar creating a natural gathering point. A separate private après-ski bar adds another dimension to evenings at the chalet, offering an informal setting for drinks, music and time together.

POST-SKI TIME, TAKEN SERIOUSLY A dedicated wellness area creates a private spa environment within the chalet, giving guests plenty of options for slowing down after a day on the mountain. An indoor swimming pool and lounge chairs sit alongside an indoor hot tub, hammam and massage treatment room, where guests can enjoy personalised massages and treatments for post-ski recovery and relaxation. The wellness space makes it easy to move from the slopes into an afternoon or evening of downtime without leaving the chalet. Elsewhere, a heated ski room with boot dryers takes care of ski equipment between days on the slopes, while the chalet’s southfacing balconies open onto views of the surrounding mountains.
MADE FOR FAMILIES AND GROUPS The chalet’s layout has been designed with families and groups in mind. Four double or twin bedrooms are joined by a bunk bedroom with two bunk beds, which can connect with one of the bedrooms to form a family suite.

The season is grounded by TUMI’s bestselling silhouettes in elemental hues, while new collection TUMI Axis introduces everyday bags for the modern minimalist. Directed by Valentin Florian and photographed by Theo Gosselin, Fall/Winter 2026 immediately establishes a sense of place in the striking highlands of Scotland. Here, rugged terrain meets quiet elegance, mirroring the season’s elemental aesthetic.
“There is always another peak to reach, another goal to chase. That drive is something TUMI and I share and I feel it in every TUMI bag I carry.” LANDO NORRIS FORMULA 1 DRIVER The latest generation of TUMI Alpha, launched this past spring, evolves with fresh takes on beloved silhouettes rooted in an atmospheric colour palette. The season is carried by iconic collections in key colours: Deep Pine across 19 Degree, 19 Degree Front Access, Harrison and Alpha. Alpine Green and Rosewood add depth to Voyageur Nylon and Leather, while a dynamic camouflage print is available in Alpha’s expanded silhouette range. Alpha Bravo, Olas, Adatto and accessory collections Belden and Nassau are further grounded in earthy neutrals.
Carrying forward TUMI’s women’s offering, Voyageur Leather, the newly introduced Made in Italy Adatto Tote and new silhouettes across Olas and Agent provide the modern woman with styles crafted for her own ascent. Each piece is designed for the woman who reaches her own peaks on her own terms, perfect for any journey.
“This season is inspired by the quiet confidence of the Alps. Rather
than chasing excess, we wanted to explore the idea of elevation through thoughtful design. The collection reflects a sense of calm, precision, and purpose, where every detail has intention and every product is engineered to perform beautifully. It’s a reminder that true luxury isn’t about being louder, it’s about being better. We wanted to translate this feeling through this fall collection.” VICTOR SANZ, TUMI CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Harrison’s signature minimalism finds new visual interest with the addition of woven leather details on key silhouettes and tactical embossed leather in a rich cognac, reinventing minimalism for the modern traveller. The collection expands this season with new colour and material stories, from the warmth of Cognac Bombe to the refined texture of Taupe/Black Woven, alongside new smaller carry silhouettes that bring Harrison into everyday life. Also debuting this season, TUMI Axis introduces a minimalist, streamlined collection built for modern everyday performance. Clean in design and lightweight in construction, Axis brings an everything-in-place organisation system to four versatile silhouettes, available in Black, Navy, Cement and Black Reflective.

The model combines the DNA of the sporty open yacht with a fresh take on design, liveability and comfort, for an unparalleled living experience at sea.
ITAMA 70: THE NEW OPEN YACHT THAT ELEVATES FREEDOM AT SEA TO A NEW DIMENSION OF ELEGANCE Itama 70 enhances the experience of freedom at sea through new spaces, innovative solutions and a contemporary design language, while retaining the minimalist style that has always been a feature of every model in the brand’s range. Following the Itama Power Circle event in Porto Rotondo, it was unveiled as a world premiere at the latest Cannes Yachting Festival, this is the second model to take centre stage in the Itama range renewal process. With a length overall of 21.23 metres and a beam of 5.30 metres, Itama 70 is the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and its Engineering Department. The exterior styling, by Vallicelli Design, and the interiors, created by IdeaeItalia, reinterpret the distinctive elements of the
THE ART OF LUXURY
ISSUE 79 2026
Itama tradition, giving shape to a new balance between sportiness, elegance and comfort. In keeping with ‘Made in Italy’ style and the sporty lines typical of Itama, the exterior design
interprets the brand’s heritage through a contemporary lens, while introducing aesthetic and functional solutions that define the yacht’s personality. They include the decision to align the gunwale with the sheer line, shifting the
junction between the hull and deck to the highest part of the hull, at the edge of the deck. In this way, the line takes on a convex longitudinal profile that sweeps from bow to stern, allowing for further expansion of the deck spaces, particularly in the forward area. Itama 70’s profile is also characterised by the side windows running along the hull – first introduced on the Itama 54 – and the transom, which harmoniously follows the angle of the stem, creating an elegant and dynamic silhouette that embodies the brand’s sporting spirit.
MAIN DECK The main deck of Itama 70 is designed for enjoying life at sea in the utmost comfort, making the most of the spaces dedicated to socialising. From the spacious stern platform, which can accommodate a 3.25-metre tender, access to the cockpit is via a door that opens in two sections: the upper section has a pantograph opening mechanism, while the lower section swings out to create a practical step. At the stern, the living area is dominated by a large sun pad – an iconic Itama feature – which is directly connected to the dining area by an integrated backrest that provides a seamless transition between the different areas on the main deck. The U-shaped dining area is completed by a table with a teak top. Opposite, on the starboard side, is the wet bar unit, which is fitted with a sink and fridge and can be customised on request with an ice maker, a grill or a hob, as well as an additional drawer-style fridge – one possible configuration also offers the option of having two different cooking stations simultaneously. The unit can also be transformed into an elegant chaise longue thanks to the addition of a comfortable cushion with a versatile backrest, further increasing the seating options in the
living area (optional). A practical electric bimini top protects this area from the sun and can be fitted with side panels and an aft extension to provide additional shade. The helm station is located on the port side and provides excellent visibility as well as seating for up to three people. The standard configuration includes two 12-inch touchscreen chartplotters, which can be upgraded to 16-inch units as an option, with SIMRAD navigation systems. In keeping with Itama tradition, access to the foredeck is centrally positioned in relation to the windscreen and reached via convenient steps. This area is completely separate from the companionway leading down to the lower deck, creating a smoother and more natural flow of movement on board. In line with the styling of Itama 54, Itama 70 also features a
spacious forward sun pad, perfectly integrated into the deck design and acting as an invitation to enjoy the sea in complete freedom, with a panoramic view that enhances the open yacht concept.
LOWER DECK The welcoming and elegant lower deck is designed to offer the utmost in comfort on board, featuring a galley, a dinette, three cabins and three bathrooms. The stylistic and functional solutions that characterise the spaces below deck include the single floor level featured throughout all the settings. The result is a lower deck free of steps, allowing for fluid, uninterrupted movement. The large windows running along the hull, incorporating the portholes, allow natural light to flood into the interiors.

located on the port side, featuring a queen-size bed and the option, on request, to add a pullman bed. The bathroom in the guest cabin can also be used as a dayhead, thanks to access from the hallway. There is also the option, on request, of a single crew cabin with a separate bathroom, accessible from the aft sun pad. Otherwise, the space can be fitted out as a storage room, providing yet another solution for organising and optimising space on board.
One of the factors that has had the greatest influence on the layout of the lower deck is the decision to position the owner’s cabin aft – a layout typically found on larger open yachts – which optimises space at the same time as reducing the perception of noise. The bed is centrally positioned, with access on the port side to the private master bathroom, complete with all modern amenities.
with storage compartments and an extending table. Opposite is a fully equipped corner galley and a wall-mounted television (up to 55-inch). Every space has been designed to combine functionality and organisation and so maximise the available storage, with various cupboards in the hallway and the option of installing a washer-dryer under the stairs connecting the two decks.

The style code featured in the exterior design is also reflected in the interiors, where the Itama tradition is reimagined in a contemporary style through the use of simple yet refined materials, such as leather and wood, which help to create a warm, welcoming and elegant atmosphere. The colour customisation option makes it possible to choose between warm date-coloured tones and fresher, brighter shades of blue, creating spaces full of character and style, in true Itama fashion.
PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY Itama 70 is fitted with twin MAN V12 engines. The standard version features two 1,400 HP engines, delivering a top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots; the optional version, with two 1,550 HP engines, delivers a top speed of 39 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots (preliminary data). The boat is fitted with stateof-the-art technology, including the XENTA electro-hydraulic steering system, which can be equipped with a manoeuvring joystick. Also from XENTA are the trim tabs and thrusters (the stern thrusters are optional). The yacht can also be fitted, on request, with the Seakeeper NG14 gyroscopic stabiliser to minimise roll.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE ‘GENTLEMAN’S YACHT’ Typically defined as a classic yacht that emphasizes elegance, bears balanced proportions and exudes an understated sophistication, the Gentleman’s Yacht is anchored in tradition. Transforming that tradition and seeking to create a yacht for the modern man, is the team behind the 36-metre EPOQ. We took a closer look at the design details.
Reinventing a classic is no easy task. Reinventing an icon is arguably even harder. Rather than recreating or replicating the historical styling, the design studio responsible for the 36-metre EPOQ, STURGE & TOTH, has redefined the very DNA of the gentleman’s yacht. The result is a vessel that blends subtle references to classic, British yacht design with more modern proportions, clean lines, and understated sophistication.

This is a yacht for the modern-day Renaissance man, a connoisseur of culture, old-world manners meets modern sensibilities. The debonair design combines timeless elegance with intelligent engineering and exceptional craftsmanship, reinterpreting this iconic yachting style for a new generation of owners. Naturally, the aesthetic takes inspiration from the 1920s and 30s; the elegance and leisurely spirit of the Belle Époque. EPOQ translates these enduring values into a contemporary yacht designed for those who value authenticity over ostentation.
“Today’s owners increasingly seek yachts that reflect their lifestyle rather than their status,” says Peter Hürzeler, CEO of Ocean Independence. “The EPOQ 36 delivers exactly that. She is elegant without excess, technically sophisticated without unnecessary
complexity, and designed for people who genuinely love spending time at sea.” STURGE & TOTH, founded by designers Toby Sturge and Ben Julian Toth, and working from studios in London, Antibes and Vienna, developed the concept in collaboration with international brokerage Ocean Independence and SES Yachts in Turkey – the shipyard proposing to build the vessel. And for SES Yachts, this 36m motoryacht heralds the arrival of something more – she’s the first model in a completely new series for the experienced shipyard who,

whilst renowned for their heritage and craftsmanship, are now taking a decisive look to the future.
“It’s a natural evolution of our heritage,” explains Fatih Kapucu, Sales and Marketing Director at SES Yachts. “While maintaining the shipyard’s commitment to bespoke quality and artisanal construction, the new series introduces a carefully considered semi-custom platform capable of reaching a broader international audience without compromising the values that define us.” Every aspect of the yacht has been conceived around the onboard experience. Spacious exterior living areas encourage relaxed cruising, allow for entertaining family and friends, and promote enjoyment of life on the water at an unhurried pace.

through the lens of how owners actually use their yachts. The result is a vessel that offers exceptional comfort while remaining practical to own and operate for decades.”
The lower deck arrangement of the boat has been carefully standardised to optimise build quality while maintaining flexibility for owner customisation. Every technical decision has been guided by long-term usability rather than short-term trends, and those placing an order are afforded significant scope for interior personalisation even during the later stages of construction.
Beneath the water, a high-efficiency displacement hull form, developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects in Holland, reduces resistance across the entire speed range with owners benefitting from lower fuel consumption, greater cruising efficiency, and outstanding comfort at sea.
“EPOQ was never about adding complexity,” explains designer Benjamin Julian Toth. “Every design decision has been evaluated
Elegant without excess, efficient beneath the waterline and flexible right up to the later stages of build, EPOQ makes a persuasive case that the gentleman’s yacht still has plenty of miles left in it.
The main salon offers a flexible living environment, with the interior finishes combining traditional timber craftsmanship with contemporary fabrics. One of the yacht’s most distinctive features is the glass-bottomed Jacuzzi on the sun deck. Positioned directly above the al fresco dining area, it functions as an architectural skylight, allowing natural light and the movement

HEESEN YACHTS REVEALS FIRST DESIGN UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP: 72-METRE PROJECT ANANDA arrangement across five decks, allowing for a natural sense of flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. At the heart of the design is a flexible Owner’s Deck, available in two distinct configurations. Owners can choose between a forward-facing private deck or a layout that opens towards the aft, creating a more social, open-plan environment. Both options have been conceived as adaptable living spaces, allowing for fully customised interiors tailored to individual routines and preferences.
Heesen Yachts has revealed Project Ananda, a 72-metre Smart Custom superyacht developed in collaboration with Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.
Scheduled for delivery in 2030, the project reflects a new direction for the shipyard, combining its engineering expertise with an increased focus on lifestyle, wellbeing and personalisation at sea. As the first new design revealed under owner Laurens Last, who acquired the Dutch shipyard last year, Project Ananda reflects the evolving priorities of today’s yacht owners, where privacy, flexibility and wellness shape the onboard experience. Its name, derived from the Sanskrit word for “inner joy”, informs the overall concept, with each space intended to support both relaxation and social living. The yacht’s exterior maintains Heesen’s recognisable profile, interpreted through softer, more fluid lines. This is paired with a carefully considered general

Developed in collaboration with Heesen’s human health engineering specialists, the space has been created to meet the growing demand for integrated wellness at sea. Interiors will be crafted entirely in-house by Heesen Interiors in Winterswijk, ensuring consistency in quality and finish throughout. The yacht’s Smart Custom platform will allow owners to tailor materials, layouts and detailing to their individual preferences, supported by close collaboration between the shipyard and design teams. Built on a steel hull and equipped with hybrid propulsion, Project Ananda combines long-range cruising capability with the option of reduced-noise operation while underway. Naval architecture and tank testing have already been completed, with construction scheduled to begin in November 2026.

Accommodation has been designed with versatility in mind. Alongside the primary suite on the Owner’s Deck, a second full-beam master suite on the Bridge Deck offers comparable space and comfort, removing traditional hierarchies and making it ideal for multigenerational travel or charter. Arrival on board has been designed as a seamless and private experience. Amidships, a shell door opens onto a dedicated docking platform, leading directly to a central glass elevator. This discreet access point means guests can move through the yacht without passing through social areas, reinforcing a sense of exclusivity from the moment of embarkation.
Project Ananda places a strong emphasis on indoor-outdoor living. A pool deck finished in travertine connects directly to the main lounge via fully openable glass panels, creating a continuous living space that can transition effortlessly from daytime relaxation to evening entertaining. The deck itself is designed to remain uncluttered, with mooring equipment concealed to preserve a clean and open environment. Wellbeing is a key element of the onboard experience. A dedicated spa and beach club spans approximately 100 square metres and includes a sauna, steam room, ice bath, snow shower, treatment room and hyperbaric chamber.

VICKERS STUDIO – DESIGNERS FOR LIVING
From a converted barn in the Hampshire countryside, John Vickers and his studio create interiors for some of the world’s most discerning clients, on the water, on land and in the air.
Some luxury doesn’t need to announce itself. You find it in the width of a floorboard, in the way light falls across a stone surface, in a room you simply don’t want to leave. For John Vickers, founder of Vickers Studio, that quality is the point of everything the studio does. Through joinery, materials and proportion, the aim is to create spaces that feel instinctively right and form a genuine emotional bond with the people who live in them.
“When we founded the studio in 2015, we identified that we wanted to work with clients who valued originality, expertise, and a truly collaborative process,” he says. More than a decade on, that philosophy

still guides every commission. With his wife and business partner Gemma, John chooses projects that keep the studio true to that mission, whether the canvas is a superyacht, a private residence or an aircraft cabin. John grew up by the sea on Hayling Island and studied Product Design. His 25-year career has taken him through some of the most respected names in luxury design. At Candy & Candy, the London property house known for its exacting residential interiors, he set up the yacht department. As a Senior Designer at Terence Disdale he worked on world-class private commissions, including the interior
of a Bombardier Global 5000 private jet. He then returned to Redman Whiteley Dixon, where his career began, as a director, before founding Vickers Studio. Today he leads a core team of eight. Gemma, as Creative Lead, oversees colour, fabric and art, and looks for the emotional spark in every scheme. Alongside the studio’s high-end residential experts, the team also includes a dedicated FF&E specialist and an in-house visualiser, whose photo-real renders let clients walk through a space long before it exists.
“Often we’re working directly with the owner, but sometimes it’s under

the width of the car’s tyres, to the automotive-style rivets on the bar. Another interior was built around a collection of art and antiquities, with joinery proportioned to the Golden Ratio.
contract to the shipyard, or even as a consultant to well-known brands,” explains Vickers. “But in each instance, from concept to completion, the conversations are inspiring.”
Over the years, the studio’s work has been widely recognised, including five World Superyacht Awards since 2018. The most recent came this year, when the 57m Solace was named Best Refit. Originally built by Feadship, Solace was transformed at Pendennis Shipyard, nearly twenty years after John first worked on her. “Along with the engineering overhaul and exterior repaint, this refit encompassed a full interior refresh for the guest and owner spaces, the addition of a supernumerary cabin on the bridge deck, a major stern extension, and a reimagined beach club with an integrated sauna,” he says.
43
The studio is busy. It recently attended the relaunch of the 57m Oui Oui after her refit at Abeking & Rasmussen, for which it designed the interior and exterior areas. It has also just launched designs for the interior of the 90m yacht Pure, and delivered the 36m My Lady for Mulder, the Dutch yard behind the studio’s very first commission. Next spring will bring a 45m from Alia Yachts and a 44m from Cantiere delle Marche.
“Launch day is always special,” says Vickers. “You’ve seen the idea take form, the details gain purpose, and then there it is, a true reflection of its owner.” For those seeking creativity with substance and design guided by experience, Vickers Studio offers a singular voice, at sea, at home and in the air.
Each project begins with Discovery, where client and studio explore the client’s passions and priorities. Hand-drawn sketches give the ideas their first shape. Lifelike 3D visuals and meticulous technical drawings follow, and the team oversees the work on site. Every space is styled and staged before handover. The approach is the same whether the project is a 2,000m² private villa or a jet cabin, where every kilogram and centimetre counts. The results are deeply personal. On one project, a client’s beloved Porsche 356 informed everything from the parquet, cut to match

LEO MESSI ORDERS AN ULTIMA 88: A NEW ICON IN THE HOUSE OF SUNREEF Leo Messi has joined the House of Sunreef with the order of a new ULTIMA 88, currently under construction at the company’s state-of-the-art shipyard in the UAE.
One of the most recognized athletes on the planet has chosen to build a luxury Sunreef catamaran for his MIM Ocean fleet, based in the Balearic Islands, offering its guests an exclusive experience at sea, made for the moments when no one is watching. On board, four guest cabins create private spaces for family and friends, while the full-beam master suite offers a luxurious and quiet retreat. Sunreef Yachts’ signature Ocean Lounge brings life closer to the water for swimming, water sports and lounging with uninterrupted ocean views.

A dedicated jet ski garage keeps equipment within easy reach, while expansive outdoor lounging areas and a generous flybridge create space for leisure, fitness and time spent under the open sky. With a sleek architecture and twin 1,000 HP engines, Leo Messi’s ULTIMA 88 will provide a perfect combination of speed and maneuverability.
The ULTIMA 88 reflects Sunreef Yachts’ vision of contemporary life at sea: fluid, spacious and deeply connected to the ocean. Every element is designed to make life simpler, more intuitive and more open, allowing the yacht to become whatever the moment calls for.

Leo Messi now joins a distinguished group of Sunreef owners and family members of the House of Sunreef, alongside other worldclass athletes. Their reasons for going to sea are their own. What connects them is a shared appreciation for exceptional craftsmanship, innovation and the freedom to experience life beyond the demands of their respective worlds.
For Sunreef Yachts Founder and CEO Francis Lapp, welcoming Leo Messi to the House of Sunreef reflects a shared understanding of what true luxury means today. “Leo Messi embodies an extraordinary level of excellence, but what makes this new chapter particularly meaningful to us is what happens beyond the spotlight. At Sunreef Yachts, we believe that true luxury is the freedom to choose how you spend your time, with the people who matter most. The sea gives us that freedom in its purest form. We are incredibly proud to welcome Leo Messi and his family to the House of Sunreef.” For Leo Messi, time at sea is already part of family life. His choice of the ULTIMA 88 brings that instinct into a space of his own: somewhere
to leave the shore behind, spend unhurried days together and decide where the next day begins. There is a particular kind of privacy that only the sea can offer. A quiet anchorage. An open deck before the day starts. Hours measured by where the family wants to swim next rather than by a schedule. “It’s a real pleasure to join the Sunreef family. My family and I have always loved spending time at sea whenever we get the chance. Sunreef Yachts have the style and features I really like, and they’re a perfect fit for what I’m looking for. I’m really looking forward to experiencing the ULTIMA 88 and enjoying it with my family.”

THE BEAUTY AND THE BAG CAMPAIGN CONTINUES
WITH VITTORIA CERETTI AND THE JETSET GG MARMONT Gucci presents the latest expression of Beauty and the Bag, starring Vittoria Ceretti with the Jetset GG Marmont. Continuing the campaign’s exploration of the enduring affinity with handbags, the story turns to a new iteration of one of the House’s signature designs. Photographed by Mert and Marcus, the image frames an all-white palette that extends from the Jetset GG Marmont to the look, bringing the bag’s shape, texture, and details into center stage. The Jetset GG Marmont offers a new interpretation of the GG Marmont, retaining the archival Double G that has defined the design since its introduction. Originating from a 1970s emblem and referencing the initials of Guccio Gucci, the Double G is joined by the Web, bringing together two House codes across the bag’s soft construction, lending the familiar silhouette a new character. The Beauty and the Bag campaign began with Kate Moss and the Borsetto alongside Emily Ratajkowski and the Giglio, before turning its focus to Global Brand Ambassador NINGNING from aespa and the Paparazzo handbag. Across each iteration, the campaign considers the allure a handbag can hold and the place it comes to occupy within one’s world.

AUDEMARS PIGUET’S ROYAL OAK JOAILLERIE COLLECTION –
A STATEMENT OF BOLD ELEGANCE Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet is delighted to unveil its new Royal Oak Joaillerie collection, building on a long-standing connection to the world of jewellery.
This collection, which debuts with the Haute Joaillerie Risoud Eclipse and Dream of Joux creations, alongside a Frosted Gold series, draws on the pioneering spirit of the Royal Oak and revisits the distinctive geometry of its bracelet. Blending multidisciplinary expertise, architectural lines and contemporary elegance, its pattern of sculpted links plays with proportions, texture and light, while metaphorically connecting past and future, watchmaking and jewellery, technical precision and artistic freedom. Each creation also takes inspiration from the Vallée de Joux in the Swiss Jura, where Audemars Piguet has been rooted since 1875. Symbols of the brand’s daring ethos and emotional resonance, these versatile designs disrupt traditional high jewellery and open up new avenues of creative expression.
A WATCHMAKING ICON REIMAGINED AS BOLD JEWELLERY The Royal Oak’s striking geometry, daring character and natural affinity with jewellery provided the inspiration for the collection. Imagined by jewellery and watch designer Gérald Genta, this sportchic timepiece revolutionised watchmaking when it was launched in 1972. With its large body of

hand-finished stainless steel, its octagonal bezel secured with hexagonal screws, its integrated steel bracelet and its extra-thin selfwinding mechanism, this wristwatch marked the beginning of a new era in tune with evolving lifestyles. In 1976, Jacqueline Dimier, Audemars Piguet’s first in-house designer, reinterpreted the Royal Oak for women, refining its proportions to further reveal the intricacies of its multifaceted surfaces. Her work established the Royal Oak as a design language able to evolve across materials, sizes, generations and genders. In the 1990s, Emmanuel Gueit, Dimier’s tandem, expanded the aesthetic possibilities of the Royal Oak once more with the introduction of the muscular Royal Oak Offshore and a line of Royal Oak jewellery.
Combining sportiness with ancestral know-how, the Royal Oak was imbued from the outset with a sensibility usually associated with jewellery. The satin brushing and polished chamfers adorning its case and bracelet not only elevated steel to the same status as gold but also generated a distinctive interplay of light reminiscent of a diamond’s facets. This meticulous alternation of hand finishes has since become synonymous with the Manufacture’s exacting craftsmanship. In addition, the bracelet’s pattern of tapering links and studs, all decorated and assembled by hand, brought together the seemingly incompatible worlds of jewellery and sports watches.

By playing with these aesthetic codes, the Royal Oak Joaillerie collection unveils new versatile and expressive designs, crafted to accompany the stories and moments of today’s generations.
“A gateway to the past and the future, the Royal Oak Joaillerie collection embodies Audemars Piguet’s free spirit. Jewellery has always played an important role in the company’s history. Drawing on our long-standing expertise, we continue to explore this creative realm alongside our core watchmaking activity to fuel our imagination, revisit our codes and enhance our approach to creation and expression.” Ilaria Resta, Chief Executive Officer, Audemars Piguet

Each design is created using carefully selected gemstones, including diamonds, sapphires, spessartites, tourmalines, amethysts, tsavorites and topazes. The Dream of Joux line also encompasses a set of matching tie necklace and drop earrings evoking a wintry wonderland with their cascading pear-shaped diamonds and anodised blue titanium links snow set with blue sapphires. Varying in diameter, the sapphires are set side by side to completely cover the links and studs, giving them a unique shimmer.

through evocative motifs, symbolic textures, colour gradients and material sensations. The Risoud Eclipse alludes to the Vallée de Joux’s pivotal role for celestial observation, reimagining the Risoud Forest under a shadowed sky, with the subtle halo of an eclipse. The line’s inaugural necklace and matching cuff feature black PVD titanium links and studs, offset by striking central sugarloaf emeralds surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds. The emeralds’ conical facets have been meticulously ground and polished to let the light in from all angles and bring out their vibrant colour. The Manufacture’s alternation of satin brushing and polished chamfers gracing the links and studs amplifies the stones’ lustre. Lastly, a distinct series of cuffs and necklaces sparkling with 18-carat white, pink and yellow Frosted Gold captures the ever-changing luminosity of the Vallée de Joux. Based on an ancient Florentine technique, this decoration pattern was developed in collaboration with jewellery designer Carolina Bucci in 2016 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Royal Oak for women and has since become one of Audemars Piguet’s signature finishes. The diamond dust effect, achieved by gently hammering the precious metal with a diamondtipped tool, is accentuated by mirror-polished studs and polished chamfers for endless light effects.

BUILDING ON AUDEMARS PIGUET’S JEWELLERY LEGACY Jewellery is closely linked to watchmaking and has long contributed to the evolution of expertise at Audemars Piguet, encouraging craftspeople to push technical boundaries and elevate artisanal expression. Since the 19th century, the Manufacture has leveraged high jewellery and metalworking métiers d’art to break new grounds in miniaturisation, gemsetting and aesthetic refinement. The company worked hand in hand with renowned jewellers, including Tiffany, Cartier, Oscar Heyman and Bvlgari, to craft diminutive pendant, brooch and ring watches as well as avant-garde timepieces embellished with enamel, engraving
and gemstones. The increasing popularity of the wristwatch in the 20th century opened up new avenues, enabling the brand’s artisans to experiment with shapes, materials and ornamentation in unprecedented ways. One notable example is the “Tutti Frutti” timepiece which was sold in 1929 and equipped with the Calibre 5/7SB, the smallest movement ever produced by Audemars Piguet. The external parts, which incorporated diamonds, emeralds, rubies as well as blue and yellow sapphires, were created by the Parisian jeweller Egouvillon Lafon & Cie Paris (Audemars Piguet Heritage Collection, Inv. 1378). In the 1980s, the growing trend for watches with welded bracelets spurred Audemars Piguet to establish its own jewellery workshop. This enabled the company to progressively craft distinctive gem-set timepieces in-house, reaching its zenith in the early 2000s with the manufacturing of bespoke Haute Joaillerie

creations and watches. The one-ofa-kind 18-carat pink gold Baroque cuff watch paved with brilliantcut diamonds and oval yellow and pink sapphires (Audemars Piguet Heritage, Inv. 1348), released in 2000 for the Manufacture’s 125th anniversary, is typical of this era. In the following years, high jewellery watches were frequently matched with jewellery sets interweaving inventive designs with exceptional gemsetting, culminating in the Millenary Précieuse line. These creations paved the way for the brand’s Haute Joaillerie watch collection, launched in 2013. Blending striking gemsetting with design cues inspired by the Vallée de Joux, pieces such as the Diamond Trilogy (2015–2017) and the Sapphire Orbe (2019) disrupted traditional ideas of gem-set watches. Building on this legacy, the Manufacture continues to explore and hone jewellery techniques with the Royal Oak Joaillerie collection which embodies the brand’s free spirit, creative mindset and commitment to uncompromising craftsmanship.

TIFFANY & CO. UNVEILS VIBRANT NEW HARDWEAR BY TIFFANY CREATIONS CELEBRATING THE HOUSE’S LEGACY IN THE WORLD OF COLORED STONES Tiffany & Co. has unveiled new HardWear by Tiffany jewelry designs, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants crafted in 18k gold and set with turquoise and lustrous Akoya pearls.
“Creativity begins when color becomes a language,” said Nathalie Verdeille, Senior Vice President – Chief Artistic Officer, Jewelry and High Jewelry, Tiffany & Co. “Like in pointillism, each stone becomes a point of color and light; together, they create a vibrant interplay that comes alive through movement.”
The latest additions to the iconic collection celebrate Tiffany & Co.’s heritage in the world of colored gemstones, expressed through inventive artistry and exceptional craftsmanship.
For nearly two centuries, Tiffany & Co. has helped shape the world of colored gemstones through pioneering gemstone discoveries, extraordinary acquisitions and unparalleled craft. Color has been central to Tiffany & Co.’s creative world, from stained glass masterpieces and its instantly recognizable hue to today’s iconic jewelry collections. The latest expression of this heritage draws inspiration from a historic Tiffany & Co. necklace featuring lapis lazuli and pearls, famously worn by Rachel Lambert “Bunny” Mellon, whose effortless sophistication and discerning eye helped define a distinctly American approach to style. Reimagining this archival design through a contemporary lens, Chief Artistic Officer Nathalie Verdeille introduces turquoise and luminous Akoya pearls to the HardWear collection. Inspired by the bold palettes of the Pop Art era, notably the vibrant works of Andy Warhol, the new HardWear creations pair vivid color with the signature 18k gold links, bringing an archival creation into the bold contemporary world of HardWear by Tiffany. Drawing on a design from 1962, HardWear by Tiffany embodies the energy, creativity and resilience of New York City.

The introduction of turquoise and Akoya pearls brings a vibrant new expression to one of the House’s most iconic jewelry collections, while continuing Tiffany & Co.’s enduring dialogue with color. The collection consists of nine new designs. The hero suite features a statement necklace and matching drop earrings with alternating turquoise beads and Akoya pearls set atop the signature HardWear links, creating a bold interplay of color and form throughout each design. The convertible 34-inch
necklace features two seamlessly integrated clasps that allow it to be worn multiple ways, including a long necklace, double-wrap necklace or a shorter necklace paired with a bracelet. The design is distinguished by pyramid-shaped gold domes that secure each stone—a refined design element whose pointed profile complements the rounded geometry of HardWear’s signature beads and

U-shaped links. A suite features larger turquoise beads stationed throughout the links. The collection features various everyday styles, including pendants and earrings set with Akoya pearls or turquoise beads, which echo the design codes featured in the hero suite. Turquoise remains one of the House’s legacy gemstones, popularized by Tiffany & Co. Sourced from the United States and Mexico, each turquoise bead is carefully selected and color matched to showcase a curated range of exceptional blues unique to natural turquoise. The Akoya pearls, sustainably sourced from Japan, are renowned for their exceptional luster, rarity and nearperfect shape. Debuting on Tiffany.com and at Tiffany & Co. stores globally in October 2026, the new HardWear by Tiffany creations continue the House’s rich tradition of color through exceptional gemstones, inventive artistry and extraordinary craftsmanship.

concluding chapter of the trilogy: the Metamorph Merlin. Paying tribute to Merlin’s extraordinary ability to shapeshift, this new creation draws on the symbolism of the mythical white stag, representing transformation and the passage between the visible and invisible worlds. SCULPTING THE LEGEND For the first time in the collection, the legend extends beyond the dial as the pink gold case itself becomes a canvas. subtle reference to the knowledge and omniscience explored in the first chapter of the trilogy. These finely executed micro-relief scenes wrap around the case middle, expanding the narrative into every aspect of the watch while showcasing another expression of the Maison’s métiers d’art. Framing the dial, the twelve emblematic Knights of the Round Table take their positions. Standing just six millimetres tall, each pink gold knight requires around three days of meticulous hand-finishing by a specialist engraver. From sculpting and engraving to the application of black patina, every detail is carefully refined to reveal greater depth, texture and contrast
while giving each knight its own distinctive posture and personality. Flanking the crown, sword-inspired guards reference Excalibur itself, while the crown’s green colour evokes the surrounding forest, home to the mythical white stag.
ENGINEERED FOR EXPRESSION Developed, manufactured and hand-finished entirely in-house, the automatic Calibre RD821 has been specifically engineered to accommodate the threedimensional architecture of the dial while preserving the balanced proportions of the Maison’s signature Excalibur case. Comprising 172 components, the calibre is hand-finished according to the demanding criteria of the prestigious Poinçon de Genève
certification, requiring fourteen distinct decorative techniques that reflect Roger Dubuis’ unwavering commitment to Genevan watchmaking excellence. The 45mm pink gold case is completed by a sapphire crystal that reveals the dial’s sculptural landscape from multiple perspectives. On the reverse, the skeletonised 360° oscillating weight, inspired by the stainedglass windows of medieval castles, continues the dialogue between mythology and mechanical artistry. Produced in a limited edition of just 28 pieces, Excalibur The Metamorph Merlin concludes the Merlin trilogy while reaffirming Roger Dubuis’ singular vision of expressive Haute Horlogerie, where legendary stories are brought to life through mechanical expressivity, distinguished craftsmanship and daring design.

LATEST ADDITIONS TO THE DIOR GRAND BAL COLLECTION
Bringing a couture perspective to the watchmaking for the past fifteen years, the Dior Grand Bal line now features four new creations.
This season, Dior Grand Bal Muguet and Dior Grand Bal Muguet Fleuri take inspiration from the House’s codes to propose two precious interpretations. The collection’s signature trait – the front-mounted oscillating weight, decorated with mother-of-pearl and set with diamonds – serves as the starting point for these variations.
Available in pink and grey – two colours dear to the foundingcouturier – Dior Grand Bal Muguet is enhanced with sculpted motherof-pearl evoking the pleats of the 1954 Muguet line and the founding-couturier’s lucky flower. A mother-of-pearl ring frames the steel bezel, while the sunburstbrushed brass dial is punctuated with diamonds. In the same light shade palette, Dior Grand Bal Muguet Fleuri features a floral motif crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The openwork mother-ofpearl, inlaid with diamonds, blue
sapphires, emeralds and amethysts in the white version, and with pink sapphires and tsavorite garnets in the pink option, echoes the embroidery on Monsieur Dior’s dresses. These timepieces are produced in limited editions of fifty-eight and thirty-eight numbered pieces respectively, recalling the foundingcouturier’s lucky number: 8, a symbol of infinity.

Venice and New York. Two cities born on water, two distant worlds connected by a shared journey, a passion, and a friendship built over time.
REDENTORE TWO HARBORS. TWO LANDS, ONE TIME. From the collaboration between Venezianico and Worn & Wound comes Redentore Two Harbors, a timepiece that transforms a journey across the Atlantic into an emotional story, captured in a limited edition of just 800 individually numbered pieces. Some distances separate us, while others ultimately bring us closer together. Between Venice and New York lies an ocean, but also a story of departures, arrivals, discoveries, and unexpected encounters. It is from this idea that Redentore Two Harbors was born, a new watch created by Venezianico in collaboration with Worn & Wound’s upcoming Windup Watch Fair in New York. The project reflects
THE ART OF LUXURY
ISSUE 79 2026
a relationship that has grown over the years through meetings in the United States and Italy, conversations, ideas, projects and, above all, a friendship nurtured by a shared passion for watchmaking. That relationship takes on even greater significance when considering the role Worn & Wound has established within the international watch community. Founded in 2011, the independent American editorial platform dedicated to watch culture has grown into a point of reference for an international community of enthusiasts and collectors. From that same vision came the Windup Watch Fair, launched in New York in 2015 with the aim of bringing
brands and the public closer together and since grown into one of the most significant events on the American independent watchmaking calendar. It is a culture of discovery, encounter and sharing that Venezianico and Worn & Wound have shown over the years to have in common, and which now finds a new, tangible expression in a watch for Windup New York. Two Harbors tells the story of two ports and two worlds meeting on the dial. Venice is the point of departure; New York, the horizon towards which the journey unfolds. Between them lies a route crossing the Mediterranean, passing through the Strait of Gibraltar and reaching
WATCHES & TIMEPIECES
the Azores before finally venturing across the Atlantic. A journey that becomes a metaphor for the relationship between Venezianico and Worn & Wound itself: born between two distant shores and strengthened over time into a friendship worthy of celebration. The dial transforms this story into a miniature three-dimensional architecture, built through layers of craftsmanship, materials and visual references. At the foundation of the composition lies a brass surface, prepared with primer before receiving a four-color print inspired by the visual culture of twentiethcentury America. Its deliberately visible grain recalls the texture of magazines, photography and printed imagery from the era, giving the New York skyline the tactile quality of ink on paper rather than the flawless precision of a digital image. Against this backdrop, the Statue of Liberty and the elements of the skyline emerge in relief, crafted in brass and finished with an aged, burnished silver plating that enhances the depth and character of the scene. A polished ring frames the recessed opening housing the off-center hours and minutes display, set against a brushed mother-of-pearl dial whose surface captures the light in everchanging reflections, like the glow of the horizon seen from the sea.
Color itself becomes part of the journey. The softer tones of the Venetian lagoon gradually give way to the deep blues of the Atlantic, while warmer shades sweep across the sky. It is the changing light of a long ocean crossing, leading to that moment when, beyond the Atlantic, New York finally appears on the horizon.
81
The cityscape thus emerges from the interplay of different techniques: the grainy texture of the print contrasts with the threedimensional quality of the sculpted brass elements, while the Statue of Liberty, created specifically for the project, is hand-finished using an aged silver treatment and mineral oils. The result lies somewhere

between a watch dial, a bas-relief and a miniature work of art, transforming the city into a surface to be explored not only to read the time, but to discover its details little by little. Encasing this evocative scene is a 40 mm case crafted from 316L stainless steel, measuring 11.5 mm in thickness and 46.7 mm from lug to lug. Sapphire crystal with antireflective coating protects the dial, while the NH05A automatic calibre powers the off-center time display. Water resistance is rated to 5 ATM, and a genuine Italian leather strap, handcrafted in Italy, completes the watch. The journey does not end on the dial. It continues on the caseback,
where an engraving dedicated to Windup New York once again brings the two worlds together, turning the reverse of the watch into the final chapter of a story that began on the shores of the Venetian lagoon and found its destination in Manhattan. Redentore Two Harbors will be unveiled to the public at the Windup Watch Fair New York, taking place from October 16 to 18, 2026, where visitors will have the opportunity to see the watch and place advance orders. The official launch is scheduled for October 26, 2026, at a price of €850 / $975. A limited number of pieces will also be available for purchase directly at the fair.
Because sometimes, to tell the story of two cities, there is no need to choose which side of the ocean to stand on. You simply have to follow the route that connects them.

L.U.C FULL STRIKE ‘DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS’ REAFFIRMS CHOPARD’S TRIBUTE TO MEXICAN CULTURE WITH A NEW ONE-OF-A-KIND VERSION FEATURING MARQUETRY ARTISTIC CRAFTS
Continuing its traditional tribute to Mexico’s Day of the Dead, Chopard Manufacture unveils a unique interpretation of one of its most accomplished timepieces, the thirteenth edition in this celebrated collection.
Certified by the prestigious Poinçon de Genève, the new L.U.C Full Strike ‘Día de los Muertos’ Edition 13 combines the acoustic excellence of Chopard’s award-winning minute repeater with exceptional artistic Crafts.
THE ART OF LUXURY
ISSUE 79 2026
Crafted in 18-carat ethical rose gold, the 42.5 mm case frames a dial depicting one of the most recognisable symbols of the Día de los Muertos tradition: the calavera. This stylised skull embodies the festive spirit with which Mexican culture honours the cycle of life. Echoing the historic artistic tradition of vanitas, it serves as a reminder of life’s fleeting nature, while celebrating the beauty and significance of every moment. Executed on a rose gold base within Chopard’s dedicated workshop, the dial reflects the Manufacture’s commitment to preserving rare
traditional skills. Marking a first for the Maison, eggshell marquetry is introduced, alongside deepblue straw marquetry, two rare crafts that require the delicate manipulation of organic, fragile and demanding materials. Crafted by a single artisan over a total of 160 hours, the dial combines more than 70 individually selected rye straw fragments with meticulously assembled eggshell inlays. The straw, grown in France, is split and shaped by hand before being arranged in varying sizes and directions to evoke the lines and contours of a calavera.
WATCHES & TIMEPIECES
Its natural fibres create striking plays of light that animate the composition. The eggshell marquetry, as seen on the eye sockets and teeth, undergoes an equally meticulous process. Selected for its subtle hue, the shell is cleaned, dried, carefully broken by hand and assembled piece by piece. The motif is then lacquered and polished to achieve a perfectly even surface. Around the eye sockets, the artisan has created a gradient effect, allowing more black lacquer to remain visible at the centre while progressively tightening the arrangement of shell fragments towards the outer edges.
At the heart of this unique timepiece beats the L.U.C Calibre 08.01-L, the first minute repeater movement developed entirely by Chopard Manufacture. Introduced in 2016, the L.U.C Full Strike earned international acclaim for its innovative sapphire gong technology and was awarded the prestigious Aiguille d’Or at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2017. The movement’s patented monobloc sapphire construction, in which the watch glass and gongs are formed from a single piece of sapphire crystal, enables the striking mechanism to produce a sound of exceptional purity and resonance. In a detail created specifically for this edition, the hammers, strike ratchet wheels bridge and repeater inertia governor drum feature a blue CVD treatment, forming a chromatic echo of the blue straw on the dial. Five patents protect the innovations developed for this calibre. Among them are a patented strikeworkpusher disengagement system that prevents any interference while the mechanism is chiming, and a dedicated ratchet-driving mechanism enabling the sequence of hours, quarters and minutes to sound in fluid succession without unnecessary silent pauses, with remarkable clarity and continuity.
85
“By associating an exceptional chiming complication with rare decorative crafts, the unique L.U.C Full Strike ‘Día de los Muertos’ Edition 13 celebrates both the richness of Mexican culture and the remarkable talents of our Artisans who perpetuate these precious skills,” says Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Co-President of Chopard.
The iconic moustache is fashioned from hand-engraved gold, decorated with a satinbrushed motif and enhanced by a L.U.Chopard logo in relief. Around the perimeter of the dial, fine hand-executed chasing outlines the contours of the calavera, its finish echoing the structure and characteristic veining of the straw marquetry. These engravings extend harmoniously onto the bezel, caseband and crown, creating a subtle sense of continuity between the dial and the watch exterior.

Marcoux Mathern & Associés Reveals the Essence of a Mediterranean Estate Through Contemporary Transformation.
VILLA ELAÏA In Mouans-Sartoux, in the hills overlooking Cannes, Marcoux Mathern & Associés has reinvented a 1980s villa into a high-end residence. Integrated into the Mediterranean landscape, the firm’s intervention has transformed the existing structure into a living experience where materials, light, and space combine to create a new art of living. Villa Elaïa unfolds within a preserved, three-hectare site dotted with olive groves and maritime pines. Here, Marcoux Mathern & Associés embarked on a project as delicate as it was exciting: updating a regional 1980s architectural style

without erasing its soul. Structural preservation, respect for the natural site, and enhancement of the existing character guided the entire intervention, conceived with a future market launch in mind.
REINVENTING WITH MODERATION At the heart of the project, a unique contemporary touch sets the tone: an exterior gallery with a metal structure, clad in bronze and wooden screens, now connects the main villa to the guest villa. This bold yet restrained volume engages in a dialogue with the more traditional facades and asserts the firm’s contemporary signature.
Inside, the transformation is radical. The original layout gives way to vast open rooms, where a fluid circulation is expressed, punctuated by bespoke elements. The screens, which have become a recurring motif, subtly envelop the structural columns and rhythmically structure views without ever obstructing their perspectives. A parquet floor, created specifically for the project, is laid in a random pattern, adding a subtle vibrancy to the open spaces.
95
The color palette—a suite of beige, chocolate, and bronze tones—is expressed through a range of refined materials: mineral plasters with rounded contours, micromosaics in the bathrooms, and travertine with cavities filled with transparent resin in the master suite. Each bedroom boasts its own custom-designed bathroom, cultivating a cohesive style while offering a unique ambiance to each space.
“The real challenge was to take an 80s architectural style and completely modernize it while preserving its soul,” explains PierreGuillaume Mathern, architect and partner in charge of the project. “We didn’t want to alter the character of this traditional villa, but rather reveal its potential: an open, fluid space connected to its landscape. Our intervention focuses on a bold yet restrained contemporary gesture that engages with the existing structure, rather than replacing it.”

A VILLA DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE Designed for hospitality, the villa offers generous amenities dedicated to comfort: a cinema room, a gym, a private office, a wine cellar revealed beneath a glass partition in the entrance hall, and a completely redesigned outdoor space around the swimming pool. New social areas are integrated into the landscape: a pool house, a lounge near a preserved ruin, a pétanque court, a playground, and a golf practice area.
“For this villa, it was essential, of course, to tick all the functional boxes, but we wanted to go further,” emphasizes PierreGuillaume Mathern. “Each space had to have its own personality, its own unique detail. We worked with materials, textures, and light so that the villa tells a story: that of a place that has been transformed, but without denying its origins. This search for a balance between individuality and universality guided each of our decisions.”

ESTRO COLLEZIONI
THE ARCHITECTURE OF FURNITURE A CLEAR DESIGN IDENTITY Estro Collezioni is an Italian furniture brand with a distinctive vision of contemporary bathroom and interior design. Its collections are conceived at the intersection of design, material and architecture, with the aim of creating furniture that gives character to a space rather than simply occupying it. Wood, marble, stone, metal and glass are brought together through carefully studied proportions, details and finishes, creating pieces that combine a strong identity with the freedom to respond to different interiors and individual ways of living. Craftsmanship is not nostalgia, but a living resource through which new ideas can take form. In a world increasingly shaped by speed, standardisation and shortlived consumption, Estro Collezioni follows a different direction. The company believes in preserving the value of knowledge, manual skill and authentic materials — qualities that are becoming increasingly rare. Traditional expertise is not treated as something belonging to the past, but as the foundation for contemporary experimentation, combined with modern production technologies and constant research into new forms, finishes and material relationships.
ISAMBARD
The objective is not simply to make a bathroom more decorative, but to give it a precise spatial character. For Estro, the bathroom is a true interior: a space defined by architecture, proportion, light, materials and the relationship between its individual elements. The vanity is not conceived as an isolated functional object, but as part of a wider composition, giving the bathroom the same design consideration traditionally reserved for the most important living areas of the home. A YOUNG BRAND WITH DEEP ROOTS Although Estro Collezioni is a relatively young brand, it draws on many years of experience in furniture, international projects, manufacturing and entrepreneurial and commercial activity. Based in Udine, north-eastern Italy, Estro operates as a design house, working with selected Italian manufacturing specialists across the wood, marble and metal sectors.
This approach expresses a precise idea of Made in Italy: not simply a label, but a culture of knowledge, craftsmanship and specialised expertise united by a single design vision. In only a few years, Estro has earned the trust of international showrooms and design professionals, both for its distinctive design identity and for the quality of its execution. Customisation is an integral part of the design process, allowing dimensions, materials, finishes and compositions to evolve in relation to both the architecture and the individual. ISAMBARD — THE NEXT STEP The new ISAMBARD model marks the next step in Estro Collezioni’s research. Through an architectural dialogue between furniture, materials and space, the model reflects Estro’s belief that the contemporary bathroom has its own identity, creative potential and, above all, a significant future still to be explored.

MONTBLANC GREAT CHARACTERS HOMAGE TO BRUCE LEE Montblanc pays tribute to Bruce Lee’s groundbreaking legacy with four writing instruments inspired by his artistry, martial philosophy and enduring influence across cultures.
With its Great Characters collector line, Montblanc continues its tradition of honouring cultural icons whose influence transcends generations. The new Montblanc Great Characters Homage To Bruce Lee collection celebrates the renowned actor, director, martial artist and philosopher who transformed the representation of martial arts on screen and

became a bridge between Eastern and Western culture. Through four distinct designs and displays of Montblanc craftsmanship, each edition explores a defining dimension of his life and legacy.
BRUCE LEE: FIGHTER, ICON, PHILOSOPHER Born in San Francisco in 1940 and raised in Hong Kong, Bruce Lee embodied two worlds from the beginning. While studying philosophy at the University of Washington, he supported himself
by teaching martial arts and broke with convention by making traditional Chinese practices accessible beyond the Chinese community. He regarded martial arts not as an exclusive inheritance, but as a universal language. This outlook would shape Jeet Kune Do, his open and adaptable philosophy of combat. Cinema became the platform through which Lee shared these ideas with a global audience. His extraordinary speed, precision and screen presence made films including The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, The Way of the Dragon and Enter the Dragon international breakthroughs. Despite his

Montblanc Great Characters Homage To Bruce Lee Special Edition The Montblanc Great Characters Homage To Bruce Lee Special Edition is dedicated to Bruce Lee the actor. The edition’s black precious resin barrel carries a dragon motif inspired by a drawing Lee made during the filming of Enter the Dragon. The dragon is a recurring theme throughout Lee’s life. Born in the year of the dragon, the nickname “Little Dragon” followed him from childhood and came to symbolise the intensity he united in body and spirit. The contrasting cap is crafted in yellow precious resin, a reference to the legendary jumpsuit worn in the pagoda sequence of Game of Death and is traced with

Limited to 1,940 pieces in homage to the year of Bruce Lee’s birth, the Montblanc Great Characters Homage To Bruce Lee Limited Edition 1940 celebrates Lee as the creative force behind the camera and pioneer of the martial arts genre. The gold-coated cap and barrel are inlaid with yellow lacquer, contrasted by two black lacquer stripes that evoke the instantly recognisable costume from Game of Death. Yellow was deliberately chosen by Lee for its associations in Chinese culture with enlightenment, knowledge and harmony – values he sought to communicate through his films.

Across the cap and barrel, a fragmented dragon motif is adapted from the drawing Lee made while filming Enter the Dragon. Its broken composition recalls the climactic mirrored-room sequence, in which illusion is shattered to reveal the truth. Acknowledging Lee’s meticulous work as a director and actor, the matte gold-coated cone carries a pattern reminiscent of a film camera adjustment ring. In honour of his virtuoso combat skills, the goldcoated clip is modelled on a stick of a nunchaku, while the cap ring is reminiscent of a bamboo cane, the quintessence of flexibility according to Lee’s wise advice. The Montblanc emblem is crafted in shimmering motherof-pearl and detailed with the Chinese character for “little dragon”. Handcrafted from solid Au 750 gold, the nib is engraved with yin and yang, the guiding principle at the core of Lee’s thinking.
LE 93 & LE 1940
Montblanc Great Characters Homage To Bruce Lee Limited Edition 93 With a limitation number of just 93 pieces, the Montblanc Great Characters Homage To Bruce Lee Limited Edition 93 is dedicated to Bruce Lee the martial artist. The cap and barrel are decorated entirely by hand in traditional maki-e and urushi lacquer, translating the swirling movement of a reactiontraining shield used by Lee into a richly layered composition. The highly complex creative process involves repeated applications of alternating lacquer with coloured powder onto the still-wet lacquer beneath, followed by smoothing, sanding and polishing. The demanding technique gives each writing instrument the individual touch of a maki-e master. The red lacquered cone bears the name stamp of the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute, founded by Lee in Seattle as he began to move beyond rigid traditional systems towards the adaptable principles that would eventually become Jeet Kune Do. Its solid Au 750 gold, black PVDcoated ring recalls the canvas of a punching bag used in training,
while a cedar wood inlay references the white cedar columns of the University of Washington, where Lee studied philosophy. The goldcoated clip takes the form of a nunchaku stick and the solid Au 750 gold cap ring resembles bamboo. On the cap top, the Chinese character for “little dragon” is rendered in maki-e technique on the Montblanc emblem. The handcrafted solid Au 750 gold nib bears Lee’s own Jeet Kune Do symbol: yin and yang encircled by arrows, representing the constant interplay of opposing forces.
Montblanc Great Characters Homage To Bruce Lee Limited Edition 8 A final expression of the collection, the Montblanc Great Characters Homage To Bruce Lee Limited Edition 8 honours Bruce Lee as the artist of life, a figure whose physical discipline, philosophical depth and creative independence formed an indivisible whole. The dragon based on Lee’s own sketch winds around the solid Au 750 signature gold cap and barrel. Its scales are meticulously inlaid by hand with

oak and bamboo, materials chosen to echo one of Bruce Lee’s guiding principles: “The rigid oak breaks in a storm, while the flexible bamboo bends with the wind.” Through this harmonious blend of artistry and symbolism, the edition is a celebration of resilience, adaptability and the enduring spirit of Bruce Lee.
A hand-created texture beneath the dragon evokes the flowing movement of water and Lee’s famous call to remain formless and adaptable. The hand-lacquered cone recalls the tortoiseshell appearance of the spectacles he wore during less prosperous periods of his life. The gold-coated clip is

ARTS & SCULPTURES
THE ART OF FORM:
CHRISTOPHER HENDERSON ON SCULPTURE, CRAFT AND LEGACY blending the welds and applying hand-ground swirl patterns, brushed textures, or translucent candy paints, I can soften cold steel or aluminium into something that feels almost organic and fluid. When a collector encounters a finished piece, I want them to feel a sense of elevated calm and harmony. The goal is to provide a moment of visual alignment that grounds them in their space. 3. Many of your sculptures are defined by movement—sweeping curves, double-helix forms, etched patterns and the way light travels across the surface. Where does that sense of movement come from creatively?
1. Your work sits at an intriguing intersection between fine art, sculpture and architectural design. What first drew you to metal as your medium, and what does it allow you to express that other materials cannot? I grew up surrounded by an appreciation for visual art and craftsmanship; my father built bespoke picture frames and sold fine art, and my uncle is an abstract oil painter. However, my own path initially led me into heavy industry. After spending over 25 years in engineering and sheet metal fabrication, I realised I could merge that deep technical expertise with my family’s artistic heritage. Metal is an unforgiving medium, but it offers unparalleled structural integrity. It allows me to take highly

precise, architectural mathematics and bend it into sweeping, gravitydefying forms that simply wouldn’t be possible to support in materials like wood or clay. 2. There is a striking contrast in your work between the raw, industrial nature of metal and the elegance and refinement of the finished sculpture. How do you approach that transformation, and what do you hope a collector feels when they encounter one of your pieces? The fabrication process itself is inherently aggressive; it involves industrial bandsaws, heavy slip rollers, and the intense heat of TIG and MIG welding. The transformation happens entirely in the finishing stages. By carefully
Much of my work, from the flowing ribbon pieces to the intricate spiral-inspired structures, is about capturing dynamic energy in a static object. The hand-etched surfaces are crucial here; they catch and bend the ambient light so that as the viewer moves around the room, the sculpture seems to shift and breathe. On a personal level, my focus on energetic flow is deeply inspired by my daily practices in clear visualisation and a grounded appreciation for raw aesthetics.

That internal focus naturally translates into the sweeping, continuous momentum of the metalwork. 4. Your sculptures are bespoke and often created for highly individual spaces. How much does the architecture, landscape or personality of a collector influence the design of a piece, and how do you balance your artistic vision with the client’s? Context is everything. Whether I am designing a standalone piece for a private garden or engineering a complex two-story multi-point installation, the surrounding architecture dictates the necessary scale, material weight, and fixing mechanics. I start by assessing the spatial dimensions and the collector’s intent, and then I filter those requirements through my own aesthetic. It is a collaborative dialogue. The engineering ensures the piece functions perfectly in the environment, while the artistic vision ensures it carries the distinct emotional weight of an original.

5. Luxury is increasingly about individuality, craftsmanship and rarity rather than simply material value. What, in your view, makes a sculpture truly luxurious, and where do you see your work fitting into the modern luxury market? In a world saturated with mass production, true luxury is uncompromising craftsmanship and the human energy poured into a singular creation. It is the culmination of decades of hard-earned technical mastery distilled into an object that cannot be perfectly replicated by a machine. My work fits into the modern luxury market because it offers collectors a tactile, visceral connection to the artist’s process. They aren’t just acquiring a centrepiece; they are acquiring the 25 years of engineering intuition and the hundreds of hours of focused hand-finishing that went into its creation. 6. You describe your pieces as collectables that can become focal points within luxury interiors
and private gardens. What is it about large-scale sculpture that can change the character and atmosphere of an exceptional space? A large-scale sculpture, whether it’s a towering geometric form or an imposing, rusted steel installation, does much more than decorate. It acts as a spatial anchor. It dictates how light behaves in the room, how sound moves, and how people physically navigate the environment. In luxury interiors and private landscapes, these pieces become gravitational centres that elevate the atmosphere, spark immediate conversation, and lend a bold, architectural identity to the space that furniture or flat wall art simply cannot achieve.

7. There is clearly an extraordinary amount of craftsmanship behind the polished finishes, etched details and complex forms. Could you take us behind the scenes of creating one of your sculptures—from the initial concept through to the finished installation? Every piece begins with meticulous mathematics. I calculate flat patterns, cut lengths, and geometric helix angles before any metal is touched. Once the engineering is mapped out, the workshop phase begins. This involves cutting the raw sheets, shaping the materials through custom-built forming apparatus, slip-roller constraint jigs, and using techniques like hidden plug welding to ensure the physical connections remain completely seamless. Once the raw form is built, the extensive finishing process takes over, meticulously grinding the surface to manipulate
light reflection, followed by the application of automotive-grade clear coats, patinas, or bespoke paints to seal the work. 8. You use the phrase “destined for legacy.” What does legacy mean to you as an artist, and what would you hope happens to a Christopher Henderson sculpture decades after it leaves your studio? By their very nature, metals like aluminium, copper, and stainless steel are built to endure. “Destined for legacy” means I am engineering heirloom pieces meant to easily
outlast us, retaining their structural integrity and aesthetic impact for generations. Decades from now, I hope these sculptures remain in families or public collections, continuing to shape the spaces they inhabit. Ultimately, I see this legacy growing. My future focus is shifting toward entirely immersive environments, expansive spaces where the boundaries between landscape, architecture, and sculptural metalwork dissolve, creating a unified experience that can be explored indefinitely.

Building stronger bridges. A rare skill these days.
The new C1 Loco Classic puts the extraordinary CW-003 movement into a refined dress watch, with completely redesigned bridges constructed from stainless steel rather than the usual rhodium-coated brass. Slimmer, rounder and more elegant than those of its C12 Loco sibling, they balance delicacy with the strength required to keep the movement’s components precisely positioned and aligned as the mechanism beats away at 28,800 vibrations an hour. In full view, each set receives more than five hours of hand-finishing by our partners at APJ. Turns out strength and delicacy can find common ground. Do your research.
