St Barth may often be referred to as a billionaire’s playground, a glamorous Caribbean island synonymous with superyachts, designer boutiques and some of the world’s most soughtafter hotels, however it is also an exceptional destination for families.
Beyond the island’s iconic restaurants and beach clubs is a gentler side to St Barth, where calm lagoons, childfriendly beaches, creative workshops and outdoor adventures make it an inviting escape for travellers with children from tots to teens.
The island of St Barth is well suited to families looking to combine a refined luxury holiday with activities that keep younger travellers engaged. Children may spend the morning painting ceramics at Blue Gecko, join small summer camp-style sessions with My Little Circle, VIP Kid’s Services SBH or Vicky’s Féerie, or embark on a more immersive island adventure with Wonderer, a treasure hunt by car that retraces the footsteps of Rémy de Haenen whilst introducing children to St Barth’s history and personality along the way.
The island’s coastline presents a plethora of opportunities for
families to spend time on the water. In Grand Cul-de-Sac, one of St Barth’s most sheltered lagoons, visitors may hire transparent kayaks and glide across the clear shallows or spend time snorkelling and spotting marine life. For teenagers in particular, St Barth offers a natural playground for more active days. Budding surfers can take to the Atlantic-facing breaks with AJOE Reefer Surf Club, while older teens with a passion for sailing and watersports can head out on the water through the Saint Barth Yacht Club. Away from the beach, hiking trails through the island’s hills and coastal paths
offer wide sea views and a sense of independence, giving teenagers something more adventurous to add to the family itinerary.
The island’s beaches are equally as enticing an option for families seeking relaxed days by the sea. Lorient Beach is home to natural pools – creating a peaceful setting for children to paddle, explore and enjoy a picnic by the water. St Jean Beach is another favourite for families, offering a lively atmosphere, a broad range of water activities and gentler currents that make it well suited to a day spent swimming and playing at the shoreline.
Families visiting St Barth will also find a number of hotels that combine the island’s signature sense of luxury with thoughtful amenities for younger guests. Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa is set beside the lagoon and features a kids’ club that allows children to enjoy dedicated activities while parents make the most of the hotel’s tranquil setting. Rosewood Le Guanahani St Barth is another excellent option, offering a kids’ club next to the swimming pool and accommodation largely arranged on the ground floor or across easily accessible levels, making it especially convenient for young families.

For teenagers, part of the appeal of St Barth lies in the island’s effortless glamour – and nowhere embodies this more than Gustavia, the island’s chic harbour capital. Wandering the waterfront lined with superyachts, browsing designer boutiques and people-watching from a sundrenched terrace offers a first glimpse of St Barth’s more grownup side. The island’s celebrated restaurants and beach clubs are equally appealing for older families, offering a relaxed way for teenagers to experience the island’s social energy within a family setting. Whether enjoying a long lunch by the beach, watching the sunset over the harbour or soaking up Gustavia’s evening atmosphere

after dinner, the island delivers the kind of memorable, age-spanning moments that help drive its pester power among younger travellers.
For travellers who may know St Barth only for its high-glamour
reputation, the island offers a compelling alternative narrative: one of lagoon adventures, creative play, surf lessons, hiking trails and shared discovery. It is a destination where families – from toddlers to
teenagers – can enjoy all the polish and beauty of a world-renowned Caribbean escape, whilst also finding space for younger guests to explore, learn and experience the island entirely in their own way.

For laughter & love.
For beauty & beautiful things.
For indulgence & taste.

When Louis Vuitton launched its first collaboration with Marc Newson over 10 years ago, he was already the most celebrated industrial designer of his generation. His portfolio spanned virtually every field, from furniture to aircraft, and his futuristic aluminium chair, the Lockheed Lounge, had repeatedly commanded staggering sums at auction.
For Louis Vuitton, he created a limited-edition biomorphic rucksack in 2014 to celebrate the Monogram, and since 2016 has crafted an exclusive glass bottle for Louis Vuitton fragrances.
But another ambitious project, blending heritage and creativity, was quietly underway: to conceive a reliable and revolutionary suitcase that would be to 21st-century travellers what the trunk once was to Louis Vuitton’s contemporaries.
In 2016, the Horizon was launched. Reduced to its simplest form, the suitcase captures the boldness, sleek lines and innovative materials that define Marc Newson’s work, inspired by his own experiences as a seasoned traveller.
Over the past decade, the Horizon has established itself as an iconic Louis Vuitton piece. Available in canvas or leather, it can be personalised with colours and motifs from the House’s seasonal collections.
To mark the 10th anniversary of this collaboration, Louis Vuitton is embarking on a new chapter with the Horizon Aluminum, the House’s first aluminum suitcase.
Renowned for its durability and boundless recyclability, aluminum perfectly embodies Louis Vuitton’s Art of Travel and Marc Newson’s creative vision. A signature material of the designer’s work, aluminium also echoes the House’s history, when, at the end of the 19th century, Louis Vuitton designed aluminum trunks for explorers.
This fusion of heritage and innovation has produced a new generation of suitcases, crafted for the modern traveller.
Like so often in design, the simpler an object appears and the more fluid its aesthetic, the more complex its design tends to be. This is certainly true of the Horizon Aluminum, whose demanding specifications are rooted in durability and sleek lines.
It was in the very qualities of aluminum and in Louis Vuitton’s heritage that Marc Newson found the solution.
The shell is created through a series of stamping and laser-cutting processes. This stamping process allows aluminum sheets to be shaped whilst retaining the rounded curves that form the signature features of the Horizon suitcase.
The final stage of the stamping process involves creating embossed patterns in the aluminum to reinforce the case’s structural rigidity. One of the technical challenges lies in embossing the Monogram motif instead of the usual grooves typically found on this type of case. More than simply a signature feature, the Monogram thus becomes a key structural element.
True to his minimalist aesthetic, Marc Newson then set about making mechanical components such as rivets and hinges invisible, as these would detract from the Horizon’s clean lines.
A true technical feat, to preserve the purity of the design, traditional rivets have been replaced by an ultra-thin frame system attached to the shell. This concept of shells crafted from a single-piece, fulldepth 3D mould, with no folding or riveting, is a first in luggage design.
Traditional external hinges have been replaced by innovative concealed hinges. Similar to an elegant watch mechanism, this new type of hinge is now integrated into the interior of the suitcase without taking up any additional space.
Built to travel in all conditions and withstand any challenge, the Horizon Aluminum offers exceptional resistance to impact, yet bears any dents and scratches as cherished souvenirs, acquired during its travel adventures.
Another hallmark of excellence is the optimised interior capacity, designed to accommodate essentials and personal belongings. The Trolley system is located on the outside of the case, and the interior lining is thermoformed to create a perfectly flat main compartment,
providing unrivalled capacity compared to other products on the market. The main compartment features two retaining straps, whilst the zipped upper compartment also houses a zipped pocket.
The innovative extra-wide telescopic handle provides exceptional grip and outstanding ease of rolling. The enlarged wheels,

absorb shocks and vibrations, ensuring a smooth and noise-free experience. The high handle and the leather-covered side handle make it easy to carry by hand.
A signature feature of Louis Vuitton, VVN or black leather, with its natural and refined feel, adorns the corners and handles.

Security is at the heart of this design. In addition to its highly resistant shells and frame, the Horizon Aluminum is fitted with TSA-certified locks (Transportation Security Administration), facilitating suitcase checks during security inspections.
A protective cover with openings for the wheels, top handle and trolley protects the suitcase during storage while allowing discreet mobility.
The ingenious leather luggage tag can double as a bag hook to secure any extra bag on top of the suitcase.
Accompanying the Horizon Aluminum, the Vanity Case features the same aesthetic and technical design cues: aluminium embossed with the Monogram, no rivets, an ultra-slim frame, concealed hinges, an ultra-slim TSA combination lock, and VVN or black leather trim.

Its versatile interior features a patch pocket on the base, two small patch pockets at the front, and a central divider with a zipped pocket. The central divider is fully removable via a press-stud system, creating a single, more spacious compartment. An elastic strap on the back of the Vanity Case allows it to be secured to the suitcase’s telescopic handle.
Built to stand the test of time, Horizon Aluminum incorporates innovative technology that makes maintenance and repairs easier. The lining is simple to remove in-store, offering access to all components, including the wheels. Leather elements can be restored or replaced on request.
This focus on Care and Repair forms part of a local approach enabling all repairs to be carried out instore or at Louis Vuitton’s regional workshops, bringing the service closer to the client.
Designed to stand up to the demands of the modern traveller, Horizon Aluminum embodies the Louis Vuitton Art of Travel, capturing the essence of the House passed down from generation to generation.
A high-tech masterpiece, a travel companion of exceptional elegance, a suitcase that sets a new standard in high-end luggage.
Through its innovative engineering, clean lines and exceptional durability, the Horizon Aluminum marks a new chapter in the Louis Vuitton travel experience.

49th edition: over 700 boats, 150 world premieres, the full diversity of the boating industry can be found on the Côte d’Azur.
The Cannes Yachting Festival will be held from 8 to 13 September 2026 in the emblematic setting of the Côte d’Azur. It is the world’s largest in-water boat show and one of the most strategic in the world. The 49th edition, now managed by Constance Brément, will bring together more than 680 exhibitors, a fleet of 700 boats from 5 to 50 metres long, a comprehensive range of equipment and services, as well as nearly 150 world premieres, which set the tone for a whole season. With 56,000 international visitors expected, the Cannes Yachting Festival is the nautical festival of choice.

Whether you love the sea, are a boating enthusiast, amateur or professional, the Cannes Yachting Festival is the only event where everyone sharing the same passion is brought together in the same place, at the same time. Exhibiting between the Vieux Port and Port Canto, more than 680 exhibitors will showcase a fleet of more than 700 boats from 5 to 50 metres long. These models – sailing or motor, monohull or multihull, rigid or semi-rigid hull, electric, hybrid or fuel-powered, new or pre-owned – all illustrate the full range of boating around the world, from day trips to grand cruises. The Festival also offers a comprehensive range of equipment, engines, services and marinas.
The Festival takes place at two emblematic and complementary sites in the Bay of Cannes and is organised around specific thematic sectorisation. Structured
to differentiate the major nautical worlds between the Vieux-Port and Port Canto, this distribution allows each visitor to follow an immersive, fluid and intuitive route.
The Vieux Port is where motorboats can be seen: 12 to 50 metre-long boats, superyachts, flybridges, open, trawlers and RIBs, with the Power Cat Village dedicated to motor catamarans on the Pantiero in the centre. In 2026, the profile of the new Jetée will have taken shape and accommodate a premier exhibition for yachts in water, and engine manufacturers on land, while large yachts will be relocated at Quai Max Laubeuf. All types of equipment manufacturers and service companies share the quays in this port. As for the Palais, it continues to showcase the exceptional expertise of yacht equipment and fittings.
At Port Canto, the visitor experience is now completely continuous thanks to a 2.5 km loop. It crosses the Sailing Area, the world’s largest fleet of sailing boats over 10 metres long in water (120 new boats), the Power Boat Marina dedicated to motorboats (180 dayboats) up to 12/13 metres long, as well as the Yacht Brokerage sector – whose offer promises to be particularly dense this year with more than 45 boats over 25 metres in length presented – and the Toys area.
To connect these two ports, an optimised sea shuttle system will
provide crossings every fifteen minutes – a comfort appreciated by visitors, who welcome how the organisation flows.
Beyond the prestige and richness of the offer, the Cannes Yachting Festival is the showcase of the expertise of boat builders and equipment manufacturers from all over the world, in a sector where the energy transition is picking up speed and where the need for simplicity is a major factor in attracting new boating enthusiasts.
Through the Innovation Route, the show identifies and highlights the most innovative and committed solutions, contributing to the attractiveness and sustainable transformation of the nautical industry. This set-up provides a dedicated journey that gives visitors the opportunity to discover the selected innovations.
Among the entries received, a jury of international professionals and journalists will single out the most outstanding projects at the 2nd edition of the Innovation Route Awards.
The prizes will award:
The best navigation-improving equipment
• The best sustainable product
• The best innovative boat
The best CSR initiative
The finalists and winners will be announced on Tuesday 8 September at the Exhibitors Cocktail Reception. The jury will also be able to award a special “favourite” prize to a particularly striking innovation.

8-13 SEPT. 2026

Heesen Yachts has revealed Project Ananda, a 72-metre Smart Custom superyacht developed in collaboration with Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Scheduled for delivery in 2030, the project reflects a new direction for the shipyard, combining its engineering expertise with an increased focus on lifestyle, wellbeing and personalisation at sea.
As the first new design revealed under owner Laurens Last, who acquired the Dutch shipyard last year, Project Ananda reflects the evolving priorities of today’s yacht owners, where privacy, flexibility and wellness shape the onboard experience. Its name, derived from the Sanskrit word for “inner joy”, informs the overall concept, with each space intended to support both relaxation and social living.
The yacht’s exterior maintains Heesen’s recognisable profile, interpreted through softer, more fluid lines. This is paired with a carefully considered general arrangement across five decks, allowing for a natural sense of flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
At the heart of the design is a flexible Owner’s Deck, available in two distinct configurations. Owners can choose between a forward-facing private deck or a layout that opens towards the aft, creating a more social, openplan environment. Both options have been conceived as adaptable living spaces, allowing for fully customised interiors tailored to individual routines and preferences.
Accommodation has been designed with versatility in mind. Alongside the primary suite on the Owner’s Deck, a second full-beam master suite on the Bridge Deck offers comparable space and comfort, removing traditional hierarchies and making it ideal for multigenerational travel or charter.
Arrival on board has been designed as a seamless and private experience. Amidships, a shell door opens onto a dedicated docking platform, leading directly to a central glass elevator. This discreet access point means guests can move through the yacht without passing through social areas, reinforcing a sense of exclusivity from the moment of embarkation.
Project Ananda places a strong emphasis on indoor-outdoor living.

• Project Name: YN 21872 Project Ananda
• Length / Gross Tonnage: 72.3 metres / Approx. 1,750 GT
• Hull: Ultra-fuel-efficient steel hull
• Decks: Five (Lower, Main, Owner’s, Bridge, and Sun Deck)
• Hybrid Propulsion: Twin MTU 12V4000 M65L IMO Tier III engines (2 x 1,920 kW) with PTI/PTO gearboxes, enabling silent cruising for up to four hours
• Customisation: Built on speculation as a Smart Custom platform offering extensive personalisation
• Interior Construction: Crafted in-house by Heesen Interiors
• Interior & Exterior Design: Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design
• Delivery: 2030 (Keel laying scheduled for November 2026)
A pool deck finished in travertine connects directly to the main lounge via fully openable glass panels, creating a continuous living space that can transition effortlessly from daytime relaxation to evening entertaining. The deck itself is designed to remain uncluttered, with mooring equipment concealed to preserve a clean and open environment.
Wellbeing is a key element of the onboard experience. A dedicated spa and beach club spans approximately 100 square metres and includes a sauna, steam room, ice bath, snow shower, treatment room and hyperbaric chamber. Developed in collaboration with Heesen’s human health engineering specialists, the space has been created to meet the growing demand for integrated wellness at sea.
Interiors will be crafted entirely in-house by Heesen Interiors in Winterswijk, ensuring consistency in quality and finish throughout. The yacht’s Smart Custom platform will allow owners to tailor materials, layouts and detailing to their individual preferences, supported by close collaboration between the shipyard and design teams.
Built on a steel hull and equipped with hybrid propulsion, Project Ananda combines long-range cruising capability with the option of reducednoise operation while underway. Naval architecture and tank testing have already been completed, with construction scheduled to begin in November 2026.

The most compelling yachts are rarely defined by a single moment. Not by the first reveal, the first sea trial or even the day they are delivered. Their true character is discovered later: in the quiet confidence of a long passage, in the ease of a day spent at anchor, and in the way guests move naturally from deck to water.
For Damen Yachting, this is where yacht building begins: with a longer view. Its yachts are designed to prove themselves through ownership, operation, charter, refit and resale. The philosophy brings together proven platforms, owner vision and lessons learned from yachts already living their lives on the water.
At the heart of this approach is the Amels Limited Editions concept, a balance between the reassurance of a proven technical foundation and the freedom to create a yacht that feels personal. A proven platform does not mean predictable. It means many of the complex decisions have already
been considered. Engineering, performance and build logic are supported by experience, creating a clearer path through the build and allowing owners to focus on how they want to live on board.
As Managing Director at Damen Yachting Rose Damen explains, that long-term perspective is closely connected to the company’s family ownership.
“Beingfamily-ownedmeansthatwe canthinkintermsofgenerations, ratherthangivingintoshort-term compromises.Whenwedeliver ayacht,itisnotjusttheendofa project.Thatiswheretheinput startsforthenextone.Ouryachts
don’tjustevolve,theycompoundin quality.”
That phrase, “compound in quality”, captures something essential. Every delivery adds knowledge, and every season at sea contributes to the yachts that follow. The result is not repetition, but refinement.
The Amels 60 brings this thinking into focus. At 60 metres, she offers the scale, comfort and presence expected of a modern superyacht, but with the confidence of a platform shaped by experience. She is designed not only to look impressive, but to feel natural in use: generous, intuitive and easy to enjoy.

Her large swim platform, beach club connection and capacity for tenders and toys are not merely features; they are invitations. They shape the way days are spent on board, from a quiet swim in the morning to an afternoon centred around the water, or a long lunch flowing easily from interior to exterior spaces. For guests, these are the moments that define the memory of a yacht. Space matters, but so does flow. Privacy matters, but so does sociability.
The strongest yachts make all of it feel natural. This is also where the connection between build philosophy and charter appeal becomes clear. A successful charter yacht needs to feel welcoming from the first moment on board. Guests should simply arrive, exhale and settle into the rhythm of the sea. A yacht that charters well is

rarely designed around spectacle alone. She must be comfortable, capable and easy to enjoy. In that sense, charter appeal is often a sign of intelligent design.
Commercial Executive USA at Damen Yachting Jan van Hogerwou describes the strength of the Amels approach as a foundation that supports individuality rather than limiting it.
“WithAmels, wearebuildingon provenplatforms.Manyofthemore complextechnicaldecisionshave alreadybeenmade.Weseehighly experiencedbuyerswhovaluethat reassurance, as well as first-time Owners who take confidence from the fact that these decisions are alreadyinplace.Atthesametime,if youwalkthroughouryachts, none ofthemarethesame.Theplatform providesastrongfoundation, while stillallowingfreedomwithinthat.”

That confidence is one of the quiet luxuries of the Damen Yachting approach. Owners can shape the atmosphere, lifestyle and personality of their yacht, knowing that beneath it sits a platform tested by experience.
A yacht is a deeply personal object, but it is also a long-term commitment. She must inspire at first sight, but also reward trust over years of ownership. Through the Amels 60, Damen Yachting shows how a proven build philosophy can create something that is both highly personal and deeply reassuring.
Because in the end, the most successful yachts are not simply those that make an impression. They are the ones that keep proving themselves, season after season.

Nearly a decade after visionary owners first conceived the idea of building the world’s first all-electric superyacht, 70-metre Project Zero is nearing its technical launch at Vitters shipyard in the Netherlands.
Dutch design studio Vripack, responsible for the yacht’s interior, exterior and technical design in collaboration with Dykstra Naval Architects, can now share further details on this generation defining project.
Based in Sneek in the Netherlands, Vripack is renowned for its holistic approach to design. Project Zero presented a challenge like no other as the first superyacht to be built around energy generation rather than consumption. “Itallbegan withthetechnology, butweknew she also had to be beautiful,” says Marnix Hoekstra, Vripack’s cocreative director.
Sustainable innovations
Sustainability sits at the core of Project Zero, with the owners requiring the ability to sail in comfort for up to two weeks powered solely by renewable energy. Fossil fuels have been eliminated, there is no traditional engine on board, and replaced with regenerative systems, including uniquely designed turbine propellers for hydro-generation.
Global expertise was brought together to refine the yacht’s performance, including input from Emirates Team New Zealand’s America’s Cup team, who helped shape the hull for optimal hydro generation speed. The result is a distinctive curved profile that, according to advanced simulation modelling, delivers a 2.5% increase in speed, giving an increase of 8% electric power generation. Across the deck, the biminis that shade the outdoor living areas are integrated with 100 square metres
of solar panels that generate both electricity and heat, powering everything from onboard systems to climate control. This energy is managed through a central onboard “mission control” system, allowing the yacht to operate entirely on its own renewable power.
The design process brought together old and new, combining artisanal expertise and centuriesold craftsmanship with 3D-printed elements, AI-assisted artistry and a full VR mock-up of the yacht. The challenge was to ensure that even though Zero is driven by physics and data, that the yacht would still look timeless and beautiful. To achieve this Vripack approached every element of the design from scratch but still delivered on the owner’s wish for a classic sailing yacht lines. “Asadesigner, itis excitingtobeabletosaythereis stillmoretoexplorehere,” says Hoekstra. “Onadesignlevel,Zero isspecialbecausenothinglikethis has been done before.” The yacht is defined by long double-ended overhangs, twin towering masts and a low, fluid superstructure. Every detail is bespoke, from mattefinished custom deck hardware to a metal transom hand-painted in a wood effect. Even the passerelle to board the yacht is reimagined, doubling as a private swim ladder for the owner, engineered to swivel, rotate flat and remain slip-proof when wet.
For Hoekstra, each element had to fulfil three core principles: serve its intended purpose, integrate seamlessly into the overall design, and stand on its own as something undeniably beautiful.

This ethos is reinforced by Vripack’s unifying design language, where all elements begin or end in a full radius. It runs through the joinery, windows and furniture, and is visible in the curved glass of the caramel-hued Brazilian FSCcertified teak superstructure, which appears to grow from the decking. The same approach continues in the interior, with hand-carved doublecurved oak corners and gently cambered ceiling light fittings. “Eachelementconnectsseamlessly tothenextandthebeautyofour work lies in these connections,” explains Hoekstra. “They’rewhat giveZerohersenseofcalmand cohesion. It’snotoverdesigned; everydetailsimplyanswerstothe samerhythm.”
Natural interiors
The interior is inspired by nature, polished finishes are replaced with natural textures and materials have been selected for the tactility. These include a multi-hued fire onyx coffee table, finished to give a subtle leather-like surface, alongside custom furniture crafted from reclaimed bark using scented ‘pine skin’. Locally sourced materials, such as smoked European oak, are used throughout. Traditionally blemishes and faults are banished from yacht interiors, but on Zero, knots, cracks and grain variations and celebrated. Slabs of “leathered” stone are used throughout the ensuites, complete with visible cut lines. “The owners, who love the outdoors, wanted naturetotrulyresonatethroughout

theyacht,” says Hoekstra. “We had toletthecarpentersknowitwas imperativethattheveneersreally showthenaturalgrainofthewood.” As well as the aesthetic benefits this approach also allowed them to make significant saving on material waste. They were able to use 70% of the oak veneer, in comparison to the 30% used on a typical yacht build.
Client centric design Vripack invested significant amounts of time in ensuring they fully understood the owners’ requirements. “We visited the owners’ homes and listened carefullytotheirneedstobetter interpretwhattheywantedfrom thisdesignandthatwaselegance, comfortandindependence,” explains Hoekstra.
The outdoor modular furniture in the main cockpit is one example of this. “Thediningareaontheir previousyachttookalotoftimefor thecrewtosetup, sowedesigned loveseats and tables on castors thatlocktogetherquicklyand efficiently, givingthemanoutdoor spacethatfunctionsbothas loungeseatingorasaformaldining arrangementforfour,eightor12 guests.Weincludedelectriccockpit windowsthatoperateatthepush ofabutton, soifasquallcomesin, theownerscanquicklysealoffthe areathemselveswithouthaving to call for crew.” Other elements have been refined to ensure life on board is comfortable. These include increased storage across guest and
crew areas, integrated grab rails for stability, and surface cut-outs designed to secure custom-fitted trays when the yacht is healing [tilting] while sailing. The main saloon features a dining table that converts into a work and craft space for the owners who love to puzzle. Space saved by removing a full-beam engine room has been repurposed into a concealed crew passageway, allowing for discreet service throughout the yacht.
Inspired accommodation
Guest accommodation comprises of a master’s suite and four guest cabins. Each of the guest cabins are inspired by locations significant to the owner, including Italy and French Polynesia, with bespoke commissioned art pieces.
The owner’s suite is arranged around the mizzen mast, which is wrapped in a custom artwork by American sculptor Sienna Martz, and connects directly to a private study designed for ‘working from yacht’ during extended time onboard. “This projectprovedtobetheperfect stormforVripackandourintegrated designphilosophy,” says Hoekstra. “The owners entrusted us with a lotoffreedomandrespectforthe choices we made, and the result isabeautifulandcapableyacht designedasasinglecontinuous object, notacollectionofparts. And therein lies the win.”

The surrealist vision of Exaequo – Salvador Dalí is reduced in size. Introducing Le Minuscule: Swiss Made and released in limited editions. Time continues to melt into new ergonomic, soft and organic forms inspired by the dreamlike universe of the Maestro, where detail now lies within the “small”.
There is an even more intimate dimension of time. More discreet, more personal, almost secret. A dimension in which matter seems to become lighter and forms turn essential without losing their identity.
From this idea comes Le Minuscule, the new interpretation of the Exaequo – Salvador Dalí collection developed through the official long-term partnership with Fundació Gala - Salvador Dalí.
Following the recent Geneva debut of the Classic models, the manifesto of this partnership, during the international watchmaking week at Villa Sarasin for Time to Watches 2026, the new Le Minuscule line brings Exaequo’s surrealist language into completely new proportions while preserving the evocative strength that has already made the brand iconic.

The case dimensions are now reduced to just 40.5 x 26 mm, while the shape itself evolves, transforming the watch into an even more refined, lightweight and ergonomic object alongside the now-famous Classic case measuring 47 × 28 mm.
This is not merely an aesthetic evolution, but a sensory one: the surfaces become even smoother, softer and more fluid to the touch, visually sculpted like liquid metal. The iconic “melting” silhouette thus takes on a new design, a new compact elegance capable of adapting naturally and almost organically to the wrist.
Once again, surrealism abandons every rigidity and time is no longer simply measured: it compresses itself, adapts and transforms into a precious detail to be worn.
The seven references of the collection are divided into three versions in 316L stainless steel and four in yellow gold PVD-treated steel. The dials retain Salvador Dalí’s signature, a distinctive feature of the collection, while the distorted indexes appear to slide across the surface, amplifying the liquid and dreamlike perception of time.

Different chromatic combinations, from deep black to absolute white, through blue, emerald green and satin gold tones, further enhance the artistic character of these creations.
Le Minuscule also confirms the rigorous standards of Swiss Made watchmaking thanks to the Swiss Ronda 751-1 quartz movement housed within a water-resistant construction up to 30 meters, secured by a four-screw caseback.
The mineral crystal, perfectly aligned with the case, follows the softness of the lines, while genuine leather straps, available in crocodile-pattern or smooth finishes, complete the ensemble with a discreet yet sophisticated presence.
As with the recent Classic models, the new Le Minuscule creations are offered in limited editions of 329, 888 and 1931 pieces. These numbers are far from random, being deeply connected to Dalí’s creative universe and the tradition of his authorized artistic editions.
The number 329 recalls several celebrated series of lithographs and engravings produced under the supervision of Fundació Gala - Salvador Dalí in deliberately unconventional quantities, far removed from any “round-number” logic and perfectly coherent with the artist’s anticonformist approach.

The number 888 references
Salvador Dalí’s famous oil painting “Soft Watch Exploding in 888 Particles after Twenty Years of Total Immobility” (1954), while 1931 marks the year in which The Persistence of Memory was created, a work that entered collective imagination as the absolute symbol of fluid time

and subjective perception.
Le Minuscule is not simply a smaller version, but a new perspective on time itself, subtler, more fluid and more personal in its most compact form. According to Exaequo, time continues to escape the rules of reality.

Every Second Is A First.

The exceptional Leica Automatic calibre LA-3001, produced in collaboration with the Swiss watch-movement developer Chronode, promises the finest mechanical craftsmanship – the very essence of Leica for the last 150 years. Depending on the angle at which it is viewed, the double-layered dial produces sophisticated colour gradients that change with the ambient light, providing unique accents for the three different versions: the Leica ZM 11 Launch Edition, the ZM 11 Coffee Black and the ZM 11 Midnight Blue. Also included, the innovative Easy-Change clasp system, for a smooth change between different straps. A watch for every occasion.

Introducing the Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin Asia Edition - An Asia Exclusive Limited to 80 Pieces.
Asia has become one of Gerald Charles’ most exciting playgrounds. The energy, the passion for independent watchmaking, the growing community of collectors - the connection with the region keeps getting stronger and stronger.
To celebrate this momentum, Gerald Charles decided to craft a unique timepiece dedicated exclusively to this market: a bold, vibrant and technically challenging limited edition built around one of Asia’s most culturally significant materials - jade.
Limited to only 80 pieces, this special creation combines Gerald Charles’ unmistakable design language with one of the most difficult natural stones used in watchmaking. Not because jade is rare - although it absolutely is - but because shaping it into the iconic Maestro silhouette is an entirely different story.
Stone dials have always been part of Gerald Charles’ creative universe and one of the Maison’s most intrinsic signatures since its origins. Mr. Gérald Charles Genta himself had a deep fascination for

precious stones and continuously explored unconventional materials, textures and colors throughout his career, pushing the boundaries of watch design with his artistic and experimental vision.
Harder, more fragile and far more unpredictable than many precious stones, jade is notoriously difficult to machine. And while the market has seen jade dials before, creating one specifically for the Maestro case shape required an entirely new level of technical expertise and craftsmanship.
The jade selected for this edition is among the world’s most precious and sought-after varieties, chosen for its vibrant green tone, natural depth and unique character. Across Asia, jade is far more than a decorative stone - it symbolizes prosperity, harmony, protection and virtue, and has been treasured for millennia as a material even more valuable than gold.
As the ancient proverb says: “gold hasavalue;jadeisinvaluable.”
Transforming this exceptional material into a Gerald Charles dial is an intense process where precision becomes obsession.
Each dial starts from a rough jade stone that must first be cut into an ultra-thin disc before being shaped, milled and finished to the exact Maestro geometry.
The final dial thickness reaches only 0.4 mm - an extraordinary challenge considering jade’s natural brittleness. Every phase demands extreme care: slow machining speeds, ultra-precise tolerances and custom-made supports designed to eliminate any vibration, movement or pressure that could fracture the stone instantly.
The rejection rate is exceptionally high. The margin for error? Almost zero. And yet, this complexity is exactly what makes every piece unique.
No two dials are identical. Veins, inclusions and tonal variations

naturally differ from one stone to another, giving each watch its own personality and organic texturesomething no lacquered or painted dial could ever reproduce.
To further emphasize the beauty and authenticity of the stone, the dial has been intentionally left pure and minimalist, completely free of indexes and numerals. This deliberate choice allows the jade itself to become the true focal point of the watch, preserving the elegance of the design while fully showcasing the material’s natural depth, colour and unique character.
The result is striking. The vivid green jade dial explodes visually against the bright white strap, creating a fresh, modern and highcontrast aesthetic that feels both luxurious and playful at the same time.
Ultra-thin at only 9 mm, waterresistant to 100 metres and designed with Gerald Charles’ signature Ergonteq® architecture for exceptional wrist comfort, the Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin Jade Edition proves that technical watchmaking can still have attitude.
This isn’t simply a jade dial watch.
This is Gerald Charles cutting jade its own way.

As it continues to expand the mechanical and artistic potential of Haute Horlogerie through the Hybris series of limited-edition timepieces, Jaeger-LeCoultre revisits the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179, harnessing the skills of the master engravers in the Manufacture’s Métiers RaresTM atelier.

Presented in an 18K pink gold (750/1000) case richly engraved with an image of Pegasus, the flying horse of Greek mythology, the new timepiece also features handlacquered dial plates and bridges. The fully skeletonised reverse dial is complemented by hand-bevelling of the bridges and tourbillon cage.
Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Pegasus is presented on a blue alligator strap with an innovative, micro-adjustable clasp and will be a limited edition of five pieces.
From polo to Pegasus: The legendary winged horse of Greek mythology – believed to have carried thunderbolts for Zeus and to have created springs to flow wherever its hoof touched the ground – Pegasus symbolises freedom, creative power and elevation beyond limits. More than a myth, it represents the moment when technique becomes imagination.
This symbolism resonates with the Reverso’s equestrian origins. Designed on the polo field, its swivelling case reflects a constant interplay between protection and expression, discipline and freedom – echoing the dual nature of the horse itself. The connection extends through the Year of the Fire Horse,
a sign of intensity, independence and bold energy. Together, these references position the horse as more than inspiration: a thread that unites function, symbolism and creative transformation at the heart of the Reverso.
Celebrating the savoir-faire of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Métiers RaresTM atelier, the hand-engraved case marries rare artistic sensibility with remarkable precision and dexterity: the Maison’s master engraver must devote 180 hours of intensely focused work to each watch, to craft the image of Pegasus against a background of clouds. The sculptural effect of the relief engraving creates areas of reflection and shadow, emphasising the sense of volume. As the engraving wraps seamlessly around the convex casesides, it almost completely obscures the join between the upper and lower sections of the case.
Where mechanism becomes art: The cloud motif that forms the backdrop to Pegasus is repeated on the front dial, where two dial plates – each on a different level –enhance the symmetry of the time display and the tourbillon aperture.
To create the decoration, more than 50 hollows were formed in the surface of the 18K pink gold (750/1000) plates, leaving only the cloud-shaped outlines visible. Each hollow is then hand-filled with different shades of blue lacquer, applied in multiple layers until its surface is perfectly flush with the outlines.
Between the plates, open-worked bridges, also hand-lacquered in dark blue, offer a tantalising glimpse of the movement – in keeping with the Hybris philosophy of celebrating mechanical as well as decorative art.
Turning the case over to the reverse dial, where the Duoface movement displays the second time zone, the beauty of the calibre is fully revealed.
Blue lacquer has been applied to the fine tracery of the skeletonised hours-minutes ring and its supporting bridges, highlighting the airy aesthetic. It contrasts with the warm tones of the 18K pink gold (750/1000) movement components and the soft texture of microblasted surfaces.

The skeletonisation is complemented by hand bevelling and hand-applied lacquer. Representing approximately 14 hours of hand-bevelling work only for the cage of the Gyrotourbillon and eight hours for the signature shape of one bridge on the reverse side, the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 is testament to JaegerLeCoultre’s commitment to craftsmanship of the highest order.
Inspired by a fascination with the tourbillon: Calibre 179 features the fourth evolution of the Gyrotourbillon, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s signature multi-axis tourbillon – a technical tour-de-force developed expressly for the rectangular case of Reverso. The demand that the regulating mechanism be integrated into a shaped movement that follows the contours of the rectangular Reverso case and is slim enough to be comfortable on the wrist, makes the engineering feat even more noteworthy. Moreover, as a Duoface movement, Calibre 179 displays a different time zone on each dial as well as a 24-hour indicator on the reverse dial.
Highly complex and visually enthralling to observe as it pirouettes around its twin axes, the Gyrotourbillon comprises 123 components, including one ultra-light titanium cage and a peripheral carriage mounted on ball-bearings. These two elements turn perpendicularly to each other at different speeds – the inner tourbillon cage rotating 360 degrees in just 16 seconds and the peripheral carriage making a full rotation once per minute. This peripheral carriage also provides a small-seconds function, indicated on a ring that encircles the tourbillon aperture. A closer look reveals a greyed semi-spherical balance spring beating at the heart of the mechanism, as well as the

distinctive double-anchor shape of a Gyrolab balance ‘wheel’ –both elements paying testament to Jaeger- LeCoultre’s tireless quest for greater precision and mechanical efficiency. In this quest, the Manufacture’s engineers have created balance springs in several different forms over the years and this hemispherical shape, perfectly adapted to the hollow sphere at the heart of the Gyrotourbillon, adds aesthetic refinement as well as mechanical efficiency. The doubleanchor shape of the Gyrolab was designed to reduce air friction and thus further enhance timekeeping accuracy.
Rather than being held in place by a conventional bridge, the tourbillon mechanism is supported by a ring of ball bearings, creating the illusion that this flying Gyrotourbillon is floating freely in the space between the front and back dials of the Reverso. The effect is amplified by the light reflected from the mirror-like surface of a polished blue lacquer disc positioned on the supporting cradle of the watch directly beneath the tourbillon aperture.
FROM ART DECO ORIGINS TO TIMELESS DESIGN ICON
Since its creation in 1931, the Art Deco lines and swivelling case of the Reverso have made it one
of the most recognisable designs in watchmaking. The rectilinear geometry and harmonious proportions of the case belie the complexity of the signature slideand-swivel mechanism. Emphasised by the signature gadroons above and below the dial and a deeply engraved sunray pattern on the inside of the case cradle, the strong Art Deco lines counterbalance the intricate decoration of the case and dials of the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Pegasus.
A movement as complex as Calibre 179 naturally requires a generously sized case; however, with a thickness of 12.41mm and refined lugs, Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Pegasus is both elegant and wearable. Fastening the dark blue alligator strap, the adjustable folding clasp epitomises Jaeger-LeCoultre’s approach to refined elegance through technical innovation. Crafted in 18K pink gold (750/1000) and comprising 46 components, it incorporates an intricate double-wheel system that allows for micro-adjustments to the nearest 0.5mm, ensuring a perfect fit.
Crafted for true connoisseurs of art and mechanics, the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Pegasus blends exceptional watchmaking savoirfaire and decorative artistry in a noble expression of the 180 skills brought together under one roof at the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Pomellato unveils the next chapter of Pentagoni, where design clarity meets bold aesthetics. Rooted in the pure geometry of the five sided form, Pentagoni turns structure into movement—creating a living sculpture of understated elegance.
Introduced last year, Pentagoni returns with a new necklace that distills the line’s signature pentagonal design into a more delicate expression—subtle in scale yet impactful in presence. The High Jewelry centerpiece is a continuous sequence of articulated pentagons in a finely scaled geometric motif, graduating along the neckline to build a three dimensional silhouette. Each element explores contrast: white and brown diamonds in Pomellato’s signature irregular pavé bring luminous brilliance and vibrant sparkle, while mirror polished planes in warm rose gold offer a clean, high shine counterpoint.
To complement the necklace, a new bracelet extends the Pentagoni language as an elegant continuation of the parure. Its pentagonal facets shift in scale and angle as it curves naturally around the wrist, forming

a sculptural contour attuned to movement. Here, diamonds converse with volume and light— white stones introduce clarity, brown diamonds lend warmth and depth—creating a tactile rhythm. The signature pavé captures and releases light from unexpected angles, for an impression that is dynamic and refined.
Crafted at Casa Pomellato in Milan, Pentagoni unites High Jewelry savoir faire with inventive design. Edges are softened for comfort; volumes are modeled to preserve their profile from every perspective. Formed in a proprietary rose gold alloy for luminosity and strength, what appears effortless arises from exacting expertise and patient handwork.
Pentagoni declares a clear perspective: a dialogue of forms made intimate, bold lines refined by touch, and light gliding across facets like a city at dusk. High Jewelry with a contemporary pulse.

Christian Dior’s ingenious creative vision is reinvented at the heart of the jewellery collections. Since 1999, Victoire de Castellane has been exploring the poetic and narrative dimension of that unique legacy, reinterpreting it with masterful audacity.

This year, the Artistic Director of Dior Joaillerie presents an unprecedented collection, mingling abstraction and naturalism. A magical line named Diorissima, an homage to the House of Dior and to Venice, La Serenissima, where it will be unveiled in May 2026.
Three extraordinary worlds emerge one after the other, successively revealing lush greenery, aquatic depths and mysterious constellations. A dreamlike triptych that expresses the foundingcouturier’s love of the rich diversity of life – from flora to fauna –, as well as his very personal otherworldly thinking.
Featuring a whimsical interplay of shapes, cut-outs, juxtapositions and colours among the gemstones, these outstanding pieces celebrate the art of collage practised by Victoire de Castellane.
Fantastical cabinets of curiosities are opened: the first, luxuriantly verdant with plant life, sketches a landscape of abundance, enhanced by clover, wisteria and bunches of fruit; the second, aquatic and fluid, suffused with scintillating shades of blue, is inhabited by fish and coral amid seaweed and bubbles.

Finally, a third, more celestial realm captivates with shining suns, mesmerizing eclipses and ‘happy’ clouds, forming unexpected combinations of gemstones.
Necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, earcuffs and brooches – a collection of 141 creations, 112 of which were presented in the first chapter – offer vibrant compositions, highlighting the depth of tones through sparkling associations. A

bold creative freedom aglow with fanciful opulence.
Testifying to the Ateliers’ unparalleled savoir-faire, these objects of desire have been crafted using the ‘doublet’ technique. This involves layering one thin stone over another – such as opal over chrysoprase – to bring out subtly hued gradations. A succession of expert gestures executed with remarkable precision that brings

Victoire de Castellane’s vision to life. Emblematic of Dior Joaillerie, lacquer conveys the quest for excellence whilst enhancing chromatic intensity. Delicately worked, intricately alternating opacity and transparency, it captures the light and enhances the pieces with marvelously hued variations shimmering in the background.
The very essence of the Dior dream.

Crafted with the world’s most fabulous diamonds and gemstones, jewellery creations capture the essence of the natural world’s most ethereal and magical creature.
Flawlessly capturing nature’s wonder of transformation, Graff’s Butterfly collection unfolds as a modern emblem of renewal, optimism and self-evolution in a striking new campaign. Radiant and evocative, a series of visuals brings to life the House’s most exceptional Butterfly jewellery creations.
Set against a backdrop of ethereal Graff green hues, models Rosalieke Fuchs and Xinyue Guo shine with the spirit of the Graff Butterfly:
exemplifying empowerment and adventures yet to come, photographed by Liz Collins.
Handcrafted by Graff’s master artisans, every piece distils nature’s ephemeral beauty into creations of timeless elegance. For over half a century, the butterfly has been woven into the story of Graff. Alighting on many of its most iconic and recognisable designs, it has come to symbolise transformation in its most personal form, marking life’s pivotal, defining moments.
Anne-Eva Geffroy, Design Director at Graff, reflects: “Rich in symbolism, thebutterflyremains anendlesssourceofinspiration–an outline that invites boundless creativityandartisticexploration. Withinourhighandfinejewellery

In one mesmerising campaign image, a kaleidoscope of butterflies swirls across a necklace, earrings and ring in a fluid display of light. Each is anchored by a marquise diamond, from which layers of vivid pavé blue sapphires dissolve into a gentle dégradé of blue tourmalines and white diamonds, totalling over 33 carats.
Another visual introduces Butterfly Silhouette fine jewellery creations, where shimmering pavé-set diamonds trace and define each
motif. Designs play with rhythm and balance, layering multiple butterflies in graceful composition or allowing a single form to command attention, while select pieces are subtly illuminated with delicate floral diamond accents.
Elsewhere, colour is revealed in a seamless metamorphosis: butterfly wings transition from the depth of red rubies through vibrant pink sapphires, forming a soft gradient into luminous white diamonds.
A suite, set with over 41 carats of exquisite rubies and diamonds, offers a bold, graphic interpretation. Crafted in white gold, diamond butterflies – each centred by a marquise ruby – glide across a necklace, earrings and bracelet. Their wings are lifted in a poised, upward motion, outlined with fine pavé rubies that define each edge, casting an intense, captivating crimson glow.
An iconic silhouette, the Graff Butterfly is born from the union of two pear shape and two marquise stones, which, when set together, take flight into the future in the unmistakable form of the House’s enduring muse. Whether gifted as a gesture of love, worn in celebration or passed down through generations, each creation radiates luminosity and brilliance.

Beaches, within cities – plains of sand atop skyscrapers, swimming in the air, in impossible contrasts that are distinctly Prada.
The instinctive collisions of attitude at the root of the Prada Days of Summer 2026 collection are expanded through its accompanying advertising campaign, featuring Bella Hadid, Damson Idris, Louis Partridge, and Liu Wen.

Photographed by David Sims, each occupy metropolitan islands, individual oases, contradictory landscapes within cityscapes. Sometimes, figures are framed purely within the calm purity of the beach – in others, the city creeps in.
The juxtaposition of different realities echo contrasts within these clothes, where casual mixes with elegance, occasion with undress, metropolitan tailoring with swimwear – hybrids, fusions, amalgams, all characteristic of Prada. Like these images, within these clothes the classic, the known and the loved are reconsidered, through evershifting perspectives.

The world of haute perfumery meets that of super sports cars in an exclusive collaboration between Xerjoff and Automobili Lamborghini, two Italian excellences united by a constant pursuit of innovation, attention to detail, and a shared vision of design as an expression of character and identity.
This partnership stems from a natural dialogue between two worlds that may appear distant, yet are deeply aligned: both brands transform technology, craftsmanship and emotion into experiences capable of engaging the senses. Just as a Lamborghini is not merely a car but an object of design and performance, so too do the fragrances in this collection translate power, creative tension and determination into an olfactory form.
The series comprises three fragrances – Avanguardia, Fierezza and Perseveranza – each inspired by values that define the DNA of both brands. The compositions are developed through a design approach reminiscent of the automotive industry: a balance between aesthetics and function; research into materials and ingredients; layering of sensations; and a strong visual identity.
“ThiscollaborationwithXerjoff isrootedinthesharingofvalues deeplyembeddedinourDNA: excellence, research, and attention to detail,” states Christian Mastro, Marketing Director of Automobili Lamborghini. “Uniqueprojects such as this allow Automobili Lamborghinitoextenditsvision beyondtheautomotivesphere andreachfansthroughexclusive productsandexperiences.Together withXerjoffwehavecreateda projectthatinterpretstheiconic natureandpioneeringspiritof Lamborghiniinanewsensory dimension.”

The aesthetics of the collection faithfully reflect the union of the two worlds, even in its design. The iconic Xerjoff bottle is dressed in some of the most representative colors from Lamborghini’s super sports cars and, for the first time, the renowned shield of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company appears on the front plaque, underscoring the unique character of the project. The packaging recalls distinctive elements of Lamborghini’s design language, from the hexagonal motif to details that evoke the cockpit of a super sports car. Each box also contains an authentic fragment of leather sourced directly from the Automobili Lamborghini Selleria

department, a component of the creative process transformed into a unique symbol of uncompromising quality.
In this dialogue between automotive and perfumery, the three fragrances become the expression of the sensory values shared by Xerjoff and Automobili Lamborghini, translating vision, research, and character into olfactory form. Avanguardia embodies pioneering spirit and the drive toward the future, evoking the energy of ignition and the moment when technology and intuition meet. Fierezza conveys identity and pride, expressing through its notes the expressive power of design and the balance between performance and style. Perseveranza, finally,
reflects determination and the continuity of research, recalling a long term vision built on precision, dedication, and attention to detail. Together, the three fragrances create a unified narrative in which Xerjoff’s olfactory expertise and Lamborghini’s DNA merge into a coherent, intense, and unmistakable sensory experience.
With this collaboration, Xerjoff and Automobili Lamborghini demonstrate how two worlds of excellence can meet and enrich one another, giving life to a project that goes beyond the product itself and becomes an expression of vision, style, and a passion for performance, interpreted through a new sensory dimension.

Bentley’s partnership with FAT International has reached new heights, with a day-long takeover of Mankei – FAT International’s base on the famous High Alpine Road of the Grossglockner mountain range in Austria. At 2262m / 7421 ft above sea level, FAT Mankei sits as a perfect rest-stop in the middle of one of the best driving roads in Europe.
Bentley’s takeover of FAT Mankei included display cars, dynamic demonstration cars and a selection of Bentley’s latest models. On the terrace outside, two bookends of the expression of Bentley – the 2003 Le Mans-winning Speed 8, and the Bentayga X Concept – were resplendent in the spring sunshine.

The unique Bentayga X Concept was developed earlier this year to stimulate and gain feedback for an enhanced off-road capable Bentayga, which could be a possible Bentley model in the future.
For the first time, all three of Bentley’s Pikes Peak challengers were brought together to celebrate outstanding Bentley performance in the rarified atmosphere of the mountains. The 1,000 bhp 2021 Pikes Peak Continental GT3 –kindly loaned by its owner – took pride of place next to the Speed 8, showcasing two extremes of Bentley performance. It was joined by the Pikes Peak Bentayga, which set the Production SUV record in 2018, and the Pikes Peak Continental GT which broke the outright Production Class record the following year.

Both road-going Pikes Peak cars were utilised throughout the day, giving passenger rides to Bentley guests and passing enthusiasts through the sweeping bends and tight switchbacks of the High Alpine Road.
Meanwhile, guests and passersby were welcomed with freshly prepared espresso from the back of the Joe & The Juice Bentayga – a vibrant pink coffee-machine-on-
wheels that celebrates Bentley’s partnership with the popular coffee brand – and delicious food from the Mankei café.
The FAT Mankei x Bentley event is the third joint event between FAT International and Bentley this year, following two ice races in Zell am See and Montana, and will be followed by more activations in 2027.

There was a time when music demanded our attention. Records were selected with care, sleeves studied, and entire evenings shaped around the simple act of listening.
Today, in an age of infinite streaming and constant distraction, music has become something more passive—ever-present, yet rarely experienced.
And yet, in the most refined homes, a quiet shift is taking place.
The listening room is returning— not as nostalgia, but as a modern expression of luxury. A space defined not by technology alone, but by intention. Here, music is not background noise, but a focal point. Increasingly, homeowners are turning to specialists like Kronos AV—not simply to install systems, but to curate environments where music regains its meaning.
Luxury, in its truest form, has never been about excess. It is about time, attention, and experience.
Kronos AV approaches audio with a level of clarity that feels rare even within high-end circles. Their work is not defined by what they sell, but by how they think—bringing together carefully selected brands such as Chario, Luxman and Lumin, alongside specialist elements like Titan Audio and Titanic Audio.
It is a portfolio built not on scale, but on conviction.
Each project begins not with equipment lists, but with a simple question: how should this space feel, or what do you want from this space? The answer informs everything—from system architecture to aesthetic restraint— resulting in environments that are as emotionally engaging as they are technically accomplished.
One of the defining characteristics of Kronos AV’s work is its discretion. Systems are not imposed on a room—they are resolved within it.
A pair of Chario loudspeakers, for example, offers a rare balance: acoustic precision combined with a natural materiality that sits comfortably within refined interiors. Amplification from Luxman brings a similar sensibility—engineering depth expressed through timeless, understated design.
Even the less visible elements are treated with unusual importance. Power delivery, often overlooked, is elevated through solutions such as Titan Audio, ensuring systems perform with consistency and authority, while analogue front ends are refined through components like Titanic Audio.

The result is a space that feels composed rather than constructed—where nothing draws undue attention, yet everything contributes.
What ultimately defines a Kronos AV system is not its specification, but its ability to communicate music with realism and weight. Digital playback, delivered through platforms such as Lumin, takes on a sense of flow and coherence that challenges expectations of streaming. Analogue, meanwhile, becomes something altogether more tactile—vinyl playback revealing texture, nuance, and space with striking clarity.
This is not accidental. It is the result of meticulous system matching, careful placement, and an understanding that the room itself is an instrument. There is a confidence here—a refusal to

chase trends or overcomplicate. Instead, Kronos AV focuses on balance, allowing each component to contribute without ever overwhelming the whole.
A recent London project offers a clear illustration. The brief was simple: create a system that would integrate seamlessly into a living space, yet deliver a deeply engaging listening experience. The client— disillusioned by the convenience of streaming—wanted to rediscover music as something immersive.
Kronos AV responded with a system built around Chario loudspeakers and Luxman amplification, supported by a Lumin streamer and a refined analogue front end featuring a Titanic Audio cartridge. Power integrity was maintained through Titan Audio. Visually, the system was understated. Sonically, it was transformative.

What began as a casual listening session extended into an entire evening—albums played in full, rediscovered with a sense of scale and intimacy that had long been absent.
In an industry often driven by noise, reputation is earned quietly. Kronos AV’s growing collection of accolades—now standing at 17 industry awards—feels less like marketing and more like confirmation. Recognition not simply for the brands they represent, but for the way in which they bring systems together with clarity, restraint, and purpose. It is this consistency that places them ahead of the competition. Not louder, not more visible—but more considered.
What these spaces ultimately achieve is a subtle but meaningful shift in behaviour. Music is no longer skipped through—it is experienced. Albums are revisited, not sampled. Time is set aside, rather than filled.
This is not about rejecting modern convenience. It is about elevating it.
There is a distinct confidence in Kronos AV’s approach. Nothing feels forced, and nothing is included without reason. The systems they create do not demand attention— they reward it.
And while the world of highend audio offers no shortage of choice, there are few places where the journey feels as resolved, as considered, and as complete. For those seeking not just equipment, but true quality, it becomes increasingly clear that this is not a search that requires multiple destinations.
In the modern listening room, everything has its place. And increasingly, that place begins—and ends—with Kronos AV.

Hill House Interiors reworked Buckingham Place, a period London townhouse, as an adaptable, fully furnished home capable of supporting both private occupation and the rental market.
The project balances the architectural identity of the original building with the durability, flexibility and ease of maintenance required of a high-quality investment property.
The client’s intended use of the house changed several times during the project. Initially acquired as a part-time London base with
rental potential, the property was subsequently considered as a private residence incorporating dedicated office accommodation before ultimately becoming a furnished rental home. Hill House Interiors therefore developed a scheme that would feel established and characterful without becoming overly personal or prescriptive.
The spatial plan was reorganised to make better use of the townhouse’s available daylight. The kitchen, previously located in the basement, was moved to an upper floor so that one of the principal everyday living spaces could benefit from improved natural light. The basement was then transformed into a media-

focused environment, using the level’s lower light conditions to create a more atmospheric destination within the house.
A secondary basement room was intentionally designed without a fixed function. It can operate as a gym, home office or playroom, allowing future occupants to adapt the house without requiring substantial alterations. The formal dining room was approached with similar flexibility: its proportions, furniture and detailing allow it to serve as either a dining space or a study while retaining the presence expected of a principal reception room.
Original period features were retained wherever their condition permitted and used as the foundation for the new interior. Contemporary interventions were designed to sit quietly within this architectural framework rather than compete with it. Bespoke joinery, layered finishes and decorative lighting introduce warmth and definition while preserving the measured character of the townhouse.
A coffered ceiling in the dining room illustrates the project’s approach to technical constraints. A ceiling reduction was required to accommodate pipework, and rather than attempting to disguise the intervention, Hill House Interiors

developed it as a deliberate architectural feature. The resulting coffering gives the room additional structure and integrates the necessary services into the overall design.
The existing staircase was structurally sound but visually understated. It was transformed with a specialist decorative finish and a considered lighting scheme, allowing it to function as a focal point and provide visual continuity between the different
levels of the house. Throughout the property, architectural and decorative lighting are layered to define circulation routes, highlight detailing and alter the atmosphere of the rooms at different times of day.
Material specification was guided by a clear hierarchy of investment. Bespoke joinery, furniture and lighting were prioritised as the elements most likely to establish the home’s identity and retain their value over time. High-

wear surfaces were selected for resilience and straightforward maintenance. Faux leather was used for elements including headboards and bar seating, while engineered quartz was specified in place of natural marble to provide a consistent appearance with greater practicality for rental use.
Furniture was also designed in response to the constraints of the
existing townhouse. Restricted access affected both delivery and installation, so a number of bespoke pieces were produced with removable arms or legs. Joinery dimensions and assembly requirements were carefully coordinated with the building’s circulation routes.
The interior has a restrained, timeless character intended to

remain relevant to different occupants and patterns of use. Rather than assigning every room a single purpose, Hill House Interiors created a series of composed spaces that can evolve between living, working, entertaining and leisure. The result is a period townhouse that feels settled and complete while retaining the adaptability required for its long-term commercial and residential use.

Key project suppliers include CMD for bespoke joinery, Ledbury Studio for the kitchen, Borderline Carpets for fitted carpets, CSI for rugs, Chelsea Artisans for window treatments, Gilly Nicolson for bedding, Epoc for beds, Atelier London for bespoke upholstery, and Bella Figura, ImaginLondon and Visual Comfort for lighting.

Project: Villa Fernblick (2018 - 2022)
Interior architect & designer: Ina Rinderknecht (IR)
Architects: Thomasine Wolfensberger & Simone Schnyder
Garden design: Enzo Enea
Location: Teufen, Switzerland
Type: Private Villa with guest and pool house
Ina Rinderknecht’s long-time client had been searching for many years for the ideal property to develop into a unique villa in his hometown of Teufen in Appenzell, Switzerland.
Ina was entrusted to develop the home from inside out and joined forces with the landscape architect, Enzo Enea, and the architects,
Thomasine Wolfensberger and Simone Schnyder of Studio Sito Architects. The vision was to develop a villa that would be gently embedded in its surroundings with local elements to blend into the sweeping natural landscapes and correspond to an Asian philosophy of harmony. To support the team on the correct lighting
atmosphere, Jörg Krewinkel from Lichtkompetenz was asked to collaborate in the project.
The three-storey villa is made for a family who entertains frequently. The spacious living areas on the ground-floor provide a generous yet intimate backdrop for hosting parties and dinners, while the more private areas on the top floor act as sanctuary for the client. From a state-of-the-art fitness, indoor pool and wellness area, spacious bedrooms, and a cosy cinema room there is a unique flair to each room. Upon entering the villa, one is welcomed by an open, double storey foyer and an intricately

sculpted staircase, cladded with the finest oak panelling, providing a sense of fluidity and softness.
Located on the ground floor, the service kitchen and the main dine-in kitchen are rendered with the same wooden wall panelling found throughout the villa, creating a cosy feel that was desired by the client. A spectacular marble island centralises the kitchen, with pendant lights above to create a canopy, and gives a focus to familylife in the kitchen.
Behind the main foyer are the dining room, living room and billiard room, each offering vast

To enhance the materiality and warmth, Ina Rinderknecht developed a special wood colour with Schotten & Hansen to reflect the colour of travertine used throughout the design. The soft bone colored oak wood blends perfectly with the surrounding, and creates an airy feel on the top floor. The bedrooms were designed to offer a serene place to sleep. Wooden paneling on the

walls and ceiling create a cabinlike feel, which is utterly soothing and feels like a private cocoon. The bathrooms are created to be liveable spaces that nurture a feeling of calm and inner sanctuary. The main closest area offers ample space to create the experience of being in a boutique.
Based on the idea of holistic health and healing, naturopathy and mindfulness, the spa area creates a space of serenity and wellness, while at the same time, incorporating all of the latest stateof-the-art technology throughout. The meticulously planned spa includes a 14m indoor pool, a
Finnish sauna, steam bath, various showers, a massage/relaxing room, a tea station, a changing room, and a separate fitness area of around 100sqm. The deep emerald-green stone pool overlooks the beautiful natural landscape and the quiet village of Teufen. The overall spa experience is luxurious, tranquil and warm. The use of soft creme travertine in various finishes, vibrant green emerald quartzite and rich timber, as well as skillfully integrated lighting, all help to create a profound experience. The spa exudes minimalistic elegance, soothing colour symmetry and a genuine sense of serenity.

A 3m long sea salt aquarium divides the entertainment area from the indoor pool, making an unexpected visual partition. Guests can sleep in the two-bedroom duplex apartment which is fully furnished with a private kitchen, open living spaces, bathroom, and office.

The pool house is a sanctuary in its own right and offers a small atelier and separate changing room with shower. The beautiful structure harbours a lovely place for entertainment with a lounge area and a beautiful Teppanyaki style kitchen that turns into a large
dining table. The feel of living inside and outside at the same time can’t be more evident than here. They have furnished the pool house with the most exquisite furniture pieces by Exteta, which we also used around the vast gardens and indoor pool area.

The Art of Parchment Extroverso carries forward the heritage of Tura, a historic family company founded in 1939 and internationally renowned for its mastery of parchment and Art Deco creations.
For centuries, parchment preserved the world’s most treasured words and images. Today, it lives again as a protagonist of refined interior design.
At Extroverso, this noble material is reinterpreted with elegance and vision. Obtained from fine goatskin and meticulously treated, parchment becomes a surface that is both functional and sensually vibrant. Each piece reveals a unique identity — defined by matt or gloss finishes, rich tonal variations, and the natural beauty of the skin. Surfaces are never the same. Every creation is an experience.
Specializing in the refined art of covering and finishing with natural parchment (goatskin) and galuchat (shagreen), Extroverso transforms rare leathers into extraordinary contemporary design elements.
From sophisticated residential interiors to yachts, hotels, offices, and luxury boutiques, we collaborate with architects and interior designers worldwide to develop exclusive, tailor-made projects. Every piece is handcrafted. Every detail is deliberate. Every creation reflects our enduring commitment to excellence and Italian craftsmanship.
As ancient as the artisan’s gesture and as precious as a masterpiece, parchment is more than a material — it is natural goatskin, tactile memory, and timeless beauty.
Galuchat — The Distinctive Touch
Shagreen leather, also known as galuchat, is a luxurious material celebrated for its strength and unmistakable texture. Recognizable by its naturally irregular “pearled” surface — which can also be polished smooth — it offers a refined tactile finish that elevates furniture and wall paneling alike.
Used on table tops, consoles, panels, and statement pieces, galuchat enhances the natural beauty of each object while adding depth, sophistication, and character.
Tailor-Made Vision
At Extroverso, every bespoke project begins with one essential element: the vision of the designer.
Through a collaborative process that unites creativity, research, technical mastery, and artisanal skill, Extroverso brings unique ideas to life. Whether designing for private residences, hospitality spaces, luxury retail environments, or yachts, our tailor-made approach allows each client to shape objects that express individuality and elevate their surroundings.
This is more than personalization — it is a shared creative journey.

Lanserring, the design and production-led studio renowned for its uncompromising approach to bespoke kitchens and architectural joinery, introduces The Chelsea Project, an immersive articulation of its end-to-end process, where craftsmanship, precision, and personalisation converge.
Rooted in a century-old Austrian heritage of master craftsmanship, Lanserring operates at the
intersection of tradition and innovation, delivering highly tailored interiors for some of the world’s most discerning private clients. With studios in London, New York, and Vienna, the company brings together design, engineering, and manufacture under one unified vision — what it defines as its philosophy of Unity of Craft.
This latest project narrative offers a rare insight into the meticulous
journey behind each Lanserring commission from initial concept through to final installation revealing a process that is as considered as the finished spaces themselves.
Every project begins with a dialogue. Clients are invited into an immersive design experience where their lifestyles, routines, and aspirations inform every decision. From early sketches

and moodboards to advanced technical drawings and full-scale visualisations, Lanserring’s in-house teams work in close collaboration to refine a vision that is both deeply personal and architecturally coherent.
At the heart of this journey lies Lanserring’s Austrian atelier, where all joinery is handcrafted by master artisans. Here, traditional techniques meet precision engineering, ensuring each component is produced with exacting standards of quality, consistency, and longevity. Each piece is meticulously crafted, dry-fitted, and refined before leaving the workshop guaranteeing

seamless installation and flawless execution on site.
Beyond craftsmanship, the project underscores Lanserring’s commitment to a fully integrated service. Design, production, and project management operate as one cohesive system, enabling clarity, efficiency, and control at every stage. This holistic approach allows the studio to deliver complex, large-scale residential projects with the same attention to detail as a singular bespoke piece.
Function remains intrinsic to every design. Intelligent spatial planning, concealed innovation, and purposeful material selection

ensure that each environment not only embodies aesthetic excellence but enhances the way it is lived in balancing beauty with performance.
The journey culminates in installation, where every detail is resolved with precision and care. Yet for Lanserring, completion is not the end point. Ongoing aftercare reflects the brand’s enduring relationship with its clients, ensuring each space continues to evolve and mature over time.
The Chelsea Project ultimately captures more than a process it reflects a philosophy. One where craftsmanship is human, design is collaborative, and luxury is defined not by excess, but by intention, integrity, and permanence.
As Lanserring continues to shape some of the most refined residential interiors globally, this project stands as a testament to its belief that the most meaningful spaces are those crafted around the lives they serve.

Sofas & Stuff’s partnership with the Royal Ballet and Opera reveals a shared belief in artistry, individuality and the enduring value of the maker’s hand.
For Sofas & Stuff, furniture has never been simply a question of shape, fabric and function. At its best, a sofa carries something of the people who choose it, the hands that make it, and the life that will unfold around it. This belief sits at the heart of The Making , the first campaign created as part of the brand’s new partnership with the Royal Ballet and Opera.
The collaboration brings together two worlds that may seem distinct: the theatre of ballet and opera, and the intimacy of furniture made for the home. Look closer, and the
connection becomes clear. Both depend on imagination, discipline, specialist skills and many hands working towards a single moment. Both understand that excellence is never accidental.
For Andrew Cussins, Founder and Design Director of Sofas & Stuff, supporting the arts is part of the company’s identity. Opera and ballet weave together music, performance, costume, set design and storytelling; furniture making has its own choreography of skills, from frame builder and pattern cutter to sewer, upholsterer and finisher.
With TheMaking , Sofas & Stuff has worked with consulting costume designer Hannah Edwards to create four one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by much-loved stories from Royal Ballet and Opera productions:
Swan Lake, Carmen, La traviata and TheSleepingBeauty. These are not literal translations, but imaginative responses. Feathered chairs explore the duality of Swan Lake. A frill-adorned red velvet sofa captures something of Carmen’s heat and force. A white linen piece with camellia details reflects the emotional world of La traviata An embellished chaise carries the enchantment of TheSleepingBeauty
What the pieces reveal is the breadth of creativity within Sofas & Stuff itself. Fabric, colour, texture and detail are not finishing touches. They are how a piece begins to take on character, changing the mood of a sofa, the feeling of a room and the way a home reflects the person who lives there.
That idea is central to the Sofas & Stuff way of working. Every made-toorder sofa begins with conversation and choice, then is made by hand in the company’s Preston workshop, where years of specialist knowledge sit behind every cut, seam and adjustment.
Pieces from TheMaking will be shown during the campaign in Sofas & Stuff’s London showrooms in Chelsea, Islington and Richmond, inviting visitors to see the detail and craftsmanship up close. Ultimately, TheMaking shows what Sofas & Stuff has always believed: that homes deserve individuality, craft carries feeling, and the most meaningful objects are shaped by imagination, care and human touch.

Having first opened its doors in 2012, fourteen years on Zoilo has officially been recognised as one of the best places in the world to eat steak.

Ranked number 96 in the recently announced World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants, the Marylebone restaurant takes its place amongst some of the most respected names in global hospitality.
Founded by chef-owner Diego Jacquet, Zoilo has always sought to offer something more nuanced than a traditional steakhouse. Rooted in Argentine culture yet shaped by its London home, the restaurant reflects Diego’s belief that great hospitality is built on provenance, simplicity and genuine warmth rather than theatre or excess.
At the heart of Zoilo is its relationship with beef. Working with carefully selected suppliers
from both Argentina and the UK, the restaurant’s offering is built around cuts of exceptional quality and consistency. Bife Ancho (ribeye), Bife Angosto (sirloin), Centro de Lomo (chateaubriand) and a 34-day aged T-Bone for sharing all showcase the restaurant’s deep respect for the product. Each cut is carefully aged in a way that best suits its nature, seasoned and cooked over a charcoal grill in traditional Argentine fashion to allow the quality of the meat to speak for itself.
That same philosophy runs throughout the wider menu. Whilst beef remains at the heart of Zoilo, the kitchen’s portfolio

extends far beyond steak alone. Signature dishes such as Hamachi Ceviche and Provoleta sit alongside a constantly evolving selection of seasonal fish and vegetables, reflecting both the breadth of Argentine cuisine, Diego’s wider culinary influences, and Head Chef Gian Mario’s creativity in shaping the restaurant’s evolving menu. In keeping with Diego’s handson approach, Zoilo bakes its own bread daily and produces its own charcuterie, including pancetta, bondiola and chorizo.
Wine has always been central to the Zoilo experience. As a passionate enthusiast, Diego continues to

shape and evolve a list that today features over 250 labels drawn exclusively from Argentina’s diverse winemaking regions. From the celebrated producers of Mendoza to the cooler climates of Patagonia and beyond, the collection showcases both the country’s established icons and its most exciting contemporary winemakers. Built not simply to accompany the food, but to offer a deeper understanding of the country that inspires it, the collection continues to evolve through the combined knowledge and passion of Diego, General Manager Sebastien and Restaurant Manager Marko.
The atmosphere at Zoilo mirrors the cooking. Service is warm and knowledgeable, with a team that takes genuine pleasure in guiding guests through both the menu and wine list, helping create an experience that feels personal.
Fiercely independent from the beginning, Diego has spent more than a decade refining and evolving Zoilo while remaining true to its foundations. His inspiration extends far beyond South America, drawing influence from regular travels throughout Scandinavia, Central Europe and Asia, yet always returning to the flavours, traditions and hospitality that shaped his upbringing. Rather than following

trends, Zoilo has built its reputation through consistency, integrity and a determination to improve year after year.
Michelin recommended and now recognised amongst the world’s leading steakhouses, Zoilo remains one of London’s most distinctive dining destinations — a restaurant where Argentine heritage, exceptional produce and genuine hospitality come together.

The Art of Luxury speaks with Judith Owen about jazz without boundaries, reimagining classics, and finding confidence through music.
1. “Suit Yourself” feels like a real statement of identity.
What does this album represent for you at this stage in your career?
That’s a great description. It’s a declaration of the hard-earned freedom I’ve finally found, to be every aspect of myself as a musician and personality, without apology. It turns out that authenticity is the key to contentment. By being yourself, instead of trying to please others, you might just end up pleasing everyone, and yourself first! I’m at that enviable point in my career where I’m no longer searching for approval, and it feels so liberating. ‘Suit Yourself’ blends jazz, blues, my original songs, and arrangements of classics, at the piano, and up front and centre, from duet to Big Band. It has the dynamics of classical music and the heart and soul of New Orleans. My
US home is the place that gave me the confidence to rock a man’s suit and fedora hat, and taught me how to find joy in the face of adversity. And that’s the theme of this album. Badly needed in these scary times.
2. You’ve built a reputation for reinterpreting lesser-known jazz and blues songs.
What draws you to a piece of music, and how do you know it’s something you can make your own?
I have to love the music, but more importantly, in covers is finding the lyrics that speak of my experiences in life. When I sang the oft-forgotten Nellie Lutcher’s ‘Fine Brown Frame’, or Julia Lee’s ‘Spinach Song’, I thought of myself, hearing them for the first time as a young girl, feeling their joy, mischievous double-entendre sassiness, and musical prowess. On
this album, I cover some classics like ‘Since I Fell For You’, where I really moved away from the stunning Etta James original, and took it to a bluesier, more heartbroken place, remembering a pre-marriage, onesided affair, where I was addicted to someone who really wasn’t that into me! It almost destroyed me, and that’s who I’m singing it as. I’ve re-imagined songs by Soundgarden, Deep Purple, Donna Summer and Drake, and they all sound like they’re about me. I’ve never understood doing covers like the originals (which are usually the best). I like to shine new light through wonderful songs.
3. Recording at Esplanade Studios must have been special. How did being in New Orleans influence the sound and feeling of the record?
I’ve been recording with my coproducer, John Fischbach, for

many years, and I’m still amazed to be working with the man who engineered Stevie Wonder’s ‘Songs in the Key of Life’ (my childhood obsession). We met in New Orleans, a place that puts a spell on people, musically and socially. There’s no where like it music scene wise and it inspires and encourages creativity in all forms 24/7. I would never have gone on my jazz “deep-dive” during Covid if I hadn’t been in NOLA, with amazing musicians at my fingertips, and my “home from home”, the extraordinary Esplanade Studio, to record in. And yes, the city and it’s players bring the sound, a mix of joy and swampy grease, that sets it apart from anywhere else. I’m very grateful to move in it’s heartbeat.
4. Your music blends classic influences with a very contemporary energy.
How do you approach that balance when arranging and performing?
I really can’t keep still when I hear great swinging music. I’m a dancer at heart and a very animated performer, so the energy that is always in me comes through the songs and brings them a contemporary freshness. I’m inspired by the greats, but I don’t want to sound like anything other than a Welsh woman with a rich, husky voice and a soul bursting with emotions, joyful and melancholy. You really can’t have
one without the other, so I like my albums to be as dynamic as I am. Life isn’t black and white; it’s a world of greys, and I like to listen to the music that suits my many moods, and this album reflects that need.
5. You’ve worked in different formats—from intimate piano settings to big band arrangements. What excites you most about moving between those different musical worlds?
I think it’s my classical bones that love moving musically and thematically from all to nothing and everything in between. It’s exhilarating and paradoxical like life itself. Beautiful and painful and all at the same time. As a friend of mine says, without the valleys, you wouldn’t see the mountains. Also, I was brought up in a very unusual classical home (my dad was an opera singer), where classical music was balanced with jazz, blues, Motown, big band, soul, pop, Americana…So I never saw any lines or walls between them, just different dialects in the language of music. So it’s always been natural for me to move between them all. It’s become my style.

6. With the Gentlemen Callers and the JO Big Band involved, this feels like a very collaborative project. How do you shape the overall sound while working with such a large group of musicians?
It is the MOST collaborative musical experience I’ve ever had, and I know it comes from working with jazz musicians who are adept in many styles, but who all improvise at the highest level. There are times when we play live that I feel like we have one brain, it’s that intuitive! They play the parts I’ve arranged and improvise around my songs, feeding off the energy that I’m bringing.
Quite extraordinary really!. When the arrangements are all written out, with the Big Band, it’s about the swing and having fun with this incredible classic sound. My mum was a huge BB fan, so having my own band is quite amazing. Both my parents would have loved what I’m doing these days
7. As you prepare for the upcoming tour, how are you approaching setlist construction—especially with so much new material alongside established favourites?
I like to start the shows with material they already know and
love and then gradually move into the new stuff, once they’re “in the groove”. The wonderful thing about this album is that so far, the live audiences are loving the new songs and bluesier direction. It feels very effortless and natural, as if it’s what they’ve what they came to hear and that’s a gift and a relief!
8. You’ll be performing across very different venues and audiences, from clubs to festivals like JazzFest.
How does the environment shape the way you deliver these songs night to night?
I play the same level whether to 30, 300, or 3000. Often, the smaller shows are the most exciting, with everyone crammed on stage, connected in a way a large stage doesn’t always guarantee. So much is about who you’re playing with and the joy you’re having on stage

that immediately transmits to the audience. There’s no Doubt that a huge packed venue is exhilarating, but the key person, especially in Festivals, is your sound man. I’m so lucky to have Ferran Huijsmans doing mine. He’s worked with legends, including Chick Correa, and I’m so fortunate to have him making me and the callers feel and sound impeccable every show.
9. What are you most looking forward to about bringing “Suit Yourself” to a live audience for the first time?
Seeing my audience joyful, elevated, and distracted from the crap in the world today. I love to take them on a trip through the known and unknown, the intimate and outrageous, to see them dancing in the aisles by the end, laughing and singing as they leave, feeling that they’ve
experienced something special and memorable, a night that will never be duplicated.
10. When people leave these shows, what do you hope they feel has stayed with them from the performance?
Joy, hope. I get to meet my audiences after the shows, especially when I’m signing albums, and I’m always very moved by the things they say. Young girls tend to ask me how they can be more confident and braver, grown women are delighted I’m representing them with power and a be-suited sex appeal and humour that men and women can enjoy. But the 2 comments I hear the most after a show are…
1/“thankyouformakingmeforget everythingthat’sgoingoninthe world,evenforacoupleofhours”.

2/“Ididn’tknowIlikedjazz, untiltonight!”
