HOA RECYCLING - MONTHLY FUNDRAISER FOR THE HOA
Please donate your beverage containers: Rinsed, clean, bagged. All aluminum cans are recyclable. If glass or plastic bottles don't have "CA CRV" or "CA CASH REFUND“ printed on them, toss them in your blue barrel. Please put your bag(s) at the end of your driveway by 9:00 AM.
IF YOU WANT TO HELP THE LVV HOA VOLUNTEER RECYCLERS, HERE’S HOW:
Meet at Space #96 at 9:00 A.M. You can help with any part of the task: Picking up donations, sorting at Space #96, and helping recycling at the local recycling facility. Part or all. If you do it all, the team finishes and returns to LVV by 11:30 or 12 noon.
If you come to help, be sure to wear a mask and you may want to wear gloves, also. Bonus: you will get to know some of your LVV neighbors and help us all out.
PARKING
Several residents have informed the HOA of parking issues, including warnings and towing of vehicles. If you have questions, Parking Management Solutions is the name of the companyphone is (619) 764-3754, ask for DJ.
Let the HOA know if you have received warnings or have been towed, and save all paperwork. The HOA is working with the management on revised rules and regulations that will address these issues. But please note, the HOA does not manage the LVV common property (parking, towing, canyon clean-up, pool community area, et cetera), the management does

Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.
Joseph Addison
It's been my observation that most people get ahead during the time that others waste.

Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.

The Lighter Side 25 Gallons of Milk
An attractive blonde heard that milk baths would make her beautiful. She went to the grocery store and asked the manager to find 25 gallons of whole milk.
The manager felt there must be a mistake, "You mean 2.5 gallons of whole milk?"
The blonde replied, "No, I want 25 gallons. I'm going to fill my bathtub and take a milk bath so I can look young and beautiful again."
"OK," he said, "But do you want it pasteurized?"
"No, just up to my neck. I can splash it on my eyes."
The Sign
A boss was complaining in a staff meeting the other day that he wasn't getting any respect. Later that morning he went to a local sign shop and bought a small sign that read, "I'm the Boss". He then taped it to his office door.
Later that day when he returned from lunch, he found that someone had taped a note to the sign that said. "Your wife called, she wants her sign back!"
High Blood Pressure
When a physician remarked on a new patient's extraordinarily ruddy complexion, he said, "High blood pressure, Doc. It comes from my family."
"Your mother's side or your father's?" the doctor asked.
"Neither, it's from my wife's family."
"Oh, come now," the doctor said. "How could high blood pressure come from your wife's family?"
The man sighed. "You oughta meet 'em sometime, Doc!"
