The general purpose for which this corporation is formed is to engage in any lawful act or activity to represent the homeowners in the mobile home park known as Linda Vista Village ("LVV").

Please donate your beverage containers: Rinsed, clean, bagged. All aluminum cans are recyclable. If glass or plastic bottles don't have "CA CRV" or "CA CASH REFUND“ printed on them, toss them in your blue barrel. Please put your bag(s) at the end of your driveway by 9:00 AM.
Meet at Space #96 at 9:00 A.M. You can help with any part of the task: Picking up donations, sorting at Space #96, and helping recycling at the Miramar Landfill. Part or all. If you do it all, the team finishes and returns to LVV by 11:30 or 12 noon. If you come to help, be sure to wear a mask and you may want to wear gloves, also. Bonus: you will get to know some of your LVV neighbors and help us all out.
Lots of great produce and other items, and they have free health screenings regularly (BP and other). Check the website for up-to-date information. https://www.lovelindavista.org/

There have been several incidents due to homeless encampments in the canyon around us. If you see fire, someone jumping the fence, or doing vandalism/theft, please call 9-1-1. It is important to report to the fire/police. Also let the office know, and if you send an email to lindavistavillagesdhoa@gmail.com we will add it to our list of safety issues.
Several residents have informed the HOA of parking issues, including warnings and towing of vehicles. If you have questions, Parking Management Solutions is the name of the company - phone is (619) 764-3754, ask for DJ.
Let the HOA know if you have received warnings or have been towed, and save all paperwork. The HOA is working with the management on revised rules and regulations that will address these issues.
But please note, the HOA does not manage the LVV common property (parking, towing, canyon clean-up, pool community area, et cetera), the management does

The City's seventh district includes the neighborhood of Linda Vista. District 7 is represented by Raul Campillo. He hosts information events for the six neighborhoods in the district. One was held on February 1st for Linda Vista, and Kay Stewart, a resident of the Park, attended and introduced herself to Mr. Campillo and Miles Noel, Campillo's staffer for our community. Miles can be reached at (619) 236-7716 and MNoel@sandiego.gov.
Mr. Campillo is especially interested in increasing residents' installation of solar PV.
For those interested in learning more about the laws involving mobile home parks, here is a website from the California Department of Housing and Community Development: https://www.hcd.ca.gov/your-rights-as-a-mobilehome-parkresident where you can study and print out MRLs.
