Country Lake MHP

We’ve had a few rainy days so I’m still hoping for some “spring flowers” on our hill. It’s been a couple of years since North Mountain has been covered with the beautiful orange and purple flowers. Just maybe this year will be the colorful mountain year.

Spring is a beautiful time of year in California, and extra beautiful for me because I know Summer is just around the corner. And of course you all know the 100 degree weather is my kind of weather, that’s why I live in the desert

A special thank you to all of our residents that are upgrading their home sites. The social club will certainly try to include all deserving homes with “Home of the Month” . There are just a few rules. First and foremost, your yard area should be maintained to the highest level, then in addition your driveway areas should be clean (not a lot of boxes and things just stacked. It also would be nice if you could find a place for trash containers other than visible from the street. Perhaps they could be stored behind your rear door steps or your shed, or at least just stored in front of your parked vehicles, and put out on trash day, oh yes and returned to their storage space by Wednesday evenings.

I was going to try not mentioning the speeding cars this month, but just couldn’t do it. 15 MPH is a maximum speed requirement in the community. There are a lot of residents and or their guests going a lot faster than 15MPH. A good way to remind you that you’re going over 15 is usually your automatic locks in your car lock automatically at 15 MPH so if they lock automatically before you leave the park you are probably driving a little to fast.

March is here, but the magazines haven’t been here on time for the past three months and one of those months we didn’t even get one. I have called the magazine printers and providers so many times that I have their telephone number memorized. Never even get a response or any reasons why their service is so bad. I apologize but there’s nothing I can do about it, however it seems that information is being sent around the park in e-mails and texts, so there is a possibility that the magazine will discontinue. I really hate to see it, but it just might be necessary.

God’s blessings to each and every one of you !

Linda Tait, Country Lake Social Club

Recycle day is Thursday everyWeek

Please help support this magazine, the “Home of the Month” award and other special events by placing your empty and clean plastic and aluminum beverage containers on your post each Thursday morning by 9:00 am for pick up. We have gracious volunteers that make the rounds in the community to pick up these items for recycle. Please, no food bottles and no Glass. Thank you for your consideration and donations. Just a couple of things you can do to help:

1. Only water and juice bottles

2. Please Rinse all containers

3. Only aluminum cans like soda and beer cans

No Pick-ups will be done of rainy days or holidays ! ! !

A very special thank you to all those volunteers

Is there something missing in this picture??? YES there is! The rules of Country Lake Specify that when walking your dogs, they are required to be on leash. I understand that some of you think that your dogs are so well behaved that the lease is unnecessary, however it is still the rule

AMUCHBETTEREXAMPLE

Also please remember to pick up after your dogs. There are “poop bags” located conveniently with receptacles for excrement. Please be considerate of others when you’re walking your dog. Even if your dog is “friendly” some people are not comfortable around dogs so be sure to confirm their feelings before you let your dog get to close.

The Lighter Side 25 Gallons of Milk

An attractive blonde heard that milk baths would make her beautiful. She went to the grocery store and asked the manager to find 25 gallons of whole milk.

The manager felt there must be a mistake, "You mean 2.5 gallons of whole milk?"

The blonde replied, "No, I want 25 gallons. I'm going to fill my bathtub and take a milk bath so I can look young and beautiful again."

"OK," he said, "But do you want it pasteurized?"

"No, just up to my neck. I can splash it on my eyes."

The Sign

A boss was complaining in a staff meeting the other day that he wasn't getting any respect. Later that morning he went to a local sign shop and bought a small sign that read, "I'm the Boss". He then taped it to his office door.

Later that day when he returned from lunch, he found that someone had taped a note to the sign that said. "Your wife called, she wants her sign back!"

High Blood Pressure

When a physician remarked on a new patient's extraordinarily ruddy complexion, he said, "High blood pressure, Doc. It comes from my family."

"Your mother's side or your father's?" the doctor asked.

"Neither, it's from my wife's family."

"Oh, come now," the doctor said. "How could high blood pressure come from your wife's family?"

The man sighed. "You oughta meet 'em sometime, Doc!"
