Mizzou Made Etiquette Dinner
A post-career fair event to allow student-athletes to network with employers already on campus. Executed in collaboration with four on campus partners.
A four stage process designed to enhance student-athlete development and aid studentathletes in marketing their transferable skills.
A four-course meal paired with a professional etiquette coach to provide student-athletes with an experience that will benefit them in any professional setting.

Wolverines Give Back
Warhawks Give Back
Mizzou student-athletes take over an elementary school’s gym classes for the day, teaching the students about living an active lifestyle and eating healthy.
Designed to give student-athletes the opportunity to give back to the local community through transformational learning opportunities.
This program includes studentathlete led initiatives such as Reading with the Warhawks, Moving with the Warhawks, Fairhaven Senior Services visits, and more.

UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN Holiday Giving Drive
A streamlined procedure that allows Student-Athlete Development team to receive, evaluate, and ultimately provide transformational service opportunities for all student-athletes.
A casual reception for studentathletes, family members, and coaches to recognize graduates each semester, typically held on a weekday on the week of graduation.
Every team has the opportunity to select one of three local organizations to raise goods for the holiday season: a food pantry, shelter association, and gifts for children in need.

Grad Sash Ceremony
A short ceremony dedicated to honoring those student-athletes who have earned their graduation sash. Event usually runs 50-60 minutes.
Spring Fling
Event for the student-athletes to relax, spend time together, and have fun. It’s held on National StudentAthlete Day to recognize and celebrate their accomplishments.

A speaker series designed to create a space for female student-athletes to explore their identities beyond athletics through networking and mentorship.
A student-athlete led monthly meeting to develop an organic support network for international student-athletes through peer mentorship.
Leaders Yearning for Excellence: Beyond the Spear is a developmental program catered to the social, intellectual, and academic well-being of Black male student-athletes.

Two week-long initiatives, the goal of the initiative is to end the stigma surrounding mental health through programming and collaboration with on campus resources.
Designed to foster an inclusive atmosphere that allows international student-athletes to successfully transition to American culture through programs.

Created to provide subtle exposure to approachable and accessible mental health resources, increase awareness of student-athlete mental health issues, and reduce the stigma.

This program specifically focused on helping student-athletes learn how to budget, in partnership with a local credit union. A fun and interactive way to improve financial literacy.
Designed business cards to help educate student-athletes on what to do in case of a mental health emergency and/or where to go for help even in a non-emergency situation.

Spirit Week
A way to increase community, engagement, and fun within athletic teams. SAAC partners with a nonprofit and raises funds through the event.
Coordinate SAAC Cares Holiday Drive; have a collection drive at every home event and provide at least one service event per week in November.
Three day event to bring SAs together from different teams through fun, competitive games, while earning points towards Tiger Cup.
