The Loyd Nichols Staats Scholarship

Jadialis Dinitto

Established under the aegis of the MGH Nurses’ Alumni Association (NAA) Endowed Fund at the MGH Institute of Health Professions School of Nursing, the funding for this scholarship was derived from the 1996 estate of Mary Hortense Staats, MGH School of Nursing Class of 1937. The scholarship is named to honor the memory of Loyd Nichols Staats, Mary’s brother, who died at the young age of one year.
