INDONESIA FLEGT LICENSE FIRST IN THE WORLD
As of 15 November 2016, Indonesia issues FLEGT licenses to certified legal timber products it exports to the EU. This makes Indonesia the first country in the world to achieve this major milestone in the global effort to combat illegal logging and associated illegal timber trade.
