Once again the cattle speak for themselves, raised in a no nonsense environment with no creep and natural pasture setting. There are a variety of pedigrees that work for us and ultimately will work for you, some are tried and true with a great deal of consistency and certainty, with some newer genetics added to keep things current. We are constantly noting important traits such as performance, calving ease, maternal traits, structural soundness, disposition and eye appeal.
The bulls are wintered on a forage ration of silage, chopped hay, rolled oats and a custom formulated bull ration to ensure longevity and growth. By sale day they will have received 2 shots of Fusogard vaccine for foot rot and passed a semen test, no deferred bulls on offer. Scrotal measurements and updated weights will be available closer to sale day. The open females are reflective of the bulls offered and are from our replacement pen. The commercial heifers are managed the same way, some home raised and some sourced from Ric Arthurs. All will be palpated to ensure breeding soundness. We stand behind all cattle, and should problems arise, please contact us so we can set things straight.
Once again we are hosting the sale at the farm, a video sale with bulls displayed outside the sale barn.
