Articulating a response to these questions requires the introduction of some important Angels in Islam. One of the most honorable, Jibreel ( ملَسلٱ هيلع ,) was given many important jobs by Allah ( ىلاعتو هناحبس .) One of his key points is that Jibreel ( لَسلٱ هيلع )م was the source of communication through God and his Messengers, meaning he brought down the Revelations of Allah ( لاعتو هناحبس ,)ى teaching them to the Messengers to spread to their people. This means that to believe in the Revelations of Allah ( ىلاعتو هناحبس ,) in His Qur’an and past Books, we must believe in the Angels, as an individual from them was the communicator for passage of the Holy Qur’an from Allah ( هناحبس )ىلاعتوto humanity.
To understand the answers to these questions, we must first turn to the most helpful guide of all, the Qur’an. In surah Baqarah, in the very beginning, Allah ( هناحبس ىلاعتو ) refers to the believers.
There are also other named Angels with important jobs in Islam, including Mika’il ( ملَسلٱ هيلع ,) the Angel who, under the Command of Allah ( هناحبس )ىلاعتوofficiates the natural phenomena of Earth such as rain, Azra’il ( ملَسلٱ هيلع ,) the Angel of Death, and Israfil ( ملَسلٱ هيلع ,) the Angel who will blow the trumpet on the Day of Resurrection.
