In recent years, Mexico’s mining industry has successfully addressed the challenges posed by COVID-19 and an evolving operating environment. The country remains the world’s largest silver producer, and eighth-largest gold producer, and is well-positioned to capitalize on current precious metal prices. Despite increasing friction in permitting and legal processes, Mexico maintains a largely favorable environment for operations and investment.
After 500 years of mining tradition, the future success of the Mexican mining industry will be defined by the business and political leaders shaping its future. We bring these leaders together at Mexico Mining Forum to exchange essential industry information, expertise and opportunities, to find solutions to overcome industry challenges, to connect financing and opportunities, to match supply and demand and to accelerate innovation. In 2021, the two editions of Mexico Mining Forum brought together 819 industry leaders representing 355 companies, welcomed 121 speakers, generated 4,431 matchmaking interactions that resulted in 837 high-level 1:1 meetings, and generated 665 pre-qualified leads for 20 sponsors.
In 2022, we will continue maximizing the impact of our conferences for participants, speakers and sponsors.
