skin tone

Uneven skin tone is characterised by both skin discoloration and a change in skin texture, caused in turn by an overproduction of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin and hair colour. All skin types—dry, oily, and combination—can have uneven skin tone.

Acne, sunspots, hyperpigmentation, under-eye bags, red spots due to damaged blood vessels, and rosacea are all types of uneven skin tone.

They may be caused by hormonal changes, aging, genetics, drinking alcohol and eating spicy foods, lack of sleep, chronic sun exposure, and even air pollution.

To treat uneven skin tone:

1. ALWAYS USE A BROAD SPECTRUM SUNSCREEN that protects against harmful UVA and UVB rays.

2. MAKE SURE TO REGULARLY EXFOLIATE YOUR SKIN and polish it with suitable skin care products.

3. USE A BRIGHTENING FACE SERUM, packed with high concentrations of beneficial ingredients.
