LINKED WITH SENSORY-FRIENDLY CAMPS, THESE FIELD TRIPS ARE OPEN TO ALL AND ENCOURAGE CAREGIVERS AND/OR ONE SIBLING TO JOIN. SEPARATE REGISTRATION FOR FIELD TRIPS IS REQUIRED. THE CLASSROOM
Get ready for an epic summer adventure like no other. Tacoma Public School (TPS) students in grades K-5 will have an unforgettable summer packed with fun, friends and learning at four locations throughout Tacoma.
Students enrolled in Tacoma Public Schools are eligible to participate. Registration closes two weeks prior to each week of programming. Families must provide their own transportation
Cost: $175 for morning or afternoon per week. Financial assistance is available by request*
Activities Held: Weekly, Monday - Thursday, July 1 - August 8 (no program July 4)
Morning session: 9:00 am-12:00 pm | Afternoon session: 12:30-3:30 pm Families can register for am or pm or both.
Morning and afternoon sessions offer different themes and will not be the same You can view the schedule and list of themes by scanning the QR code below.
Held at four elementary school locations: Franklin, Lister, Manitou, NE Tacoma
Families can register for Summer Beyond the Classroom by using Compass, the TPS Family App When you register you will see the program price of $175 per week for each student
