It was an unforgettable night of giving and advocacy at the annual Tampa Bay Heart Ball 2023 presented by Tampa General Hospital with a spectacular sports-themed gala.

The Tampa Bay Heart Ball drew more than 400 distinguished guests to the Tampa Marriott Water Street and raised an impressive $1.9 million to help keep more hearts beating in Tampa Bay and beyond. The 2023 Heart Ball was chaired by Danny and Brittany Persaud

Themed “Champions of Heart,” the evening embraced Tampa Bay’s vibrant sports culture, offering a fun and unique sports-themed atmosphere. Attendees elegantly sported black-tie-optional attire with a sports-inspired flair, paying homage to Champa Bay’s love for sports.

Before the big auction, guests were moved by the story of Levi Stock, an 11-year-old who was struck by lightning and went into cardiac arrest. His father, Derek, equipped with life-saving CPR skills that saved his son, urged everyone to visit heart. org to learn life-saving skills, so that no one ever loses a loved one due to a lack of knowledge.
