Three hundred-thirty-one workmen, twenty-three en­ gineers, ten agronomists, several biologists, and scores of other specialists will place their strength and knowledge behind this effort.

The might of nearly five hundred men will be multi­ plied many fold by sixty pieces of the most modern earth moving machinery, many shown here for the first time, and being demonstrated for your benefit.

In addition, more than one hundred twenty-five pieces of the latest farm implements and auxiliary attach­ ments will be in operation.

Many thousands of acres of Oklahoma's vast farm lands await similar treatment and reconstruction to restore them to their virgin fertility. Much is being done through Oklahoma's 77 soil conservation dis­ tricts but here on October 7 will be unfolded a pan­ orama of men and machines in action that will inspire

Demonstration--

Here are but a few of the activities that will take place in this vast spectacle.

Each field will be prepared for the crops and other land use for which the area is designated in the Master Conservation Plan made by the U. S. Soil Conservation Service and Oklahoma A & M College.

Plans call for the leveling of old terraces and the building of new ones, the filling of gullies, construc­ tion of culverts, laying of soil tile, planting of trees, remodeling and relandscaping of farmstead layout, reclaiming of an old orchard, rebuilding of ponds, erection of cattle guards and fences, together with plowing, harrowing, discing, fertilizing, liming, and finally planting of the areas.
