On the cover is the Street Car Crossing Frisco Tracks near Olie Street (May 27, 1909) Oklahoma City first heard the clang-clang-clang of the trolley on February 2, 1903. It was a Sunday afternoon and the year-old Metropolitan Railway Company (MRC) was offering free rides to the curious and excited residents of Oklahoma City. 1
