The invocation was given by Dr. Matin Singleton, Pastor of Central Presbyterian Church, who was present as a visitor.

On motion of Mr. Thompson, seconded by Mr. Lott, the minutes of the meetings of December 7, 1959 and December 17; 1959 were approved as read. s?

The Chairman recognized visitors who were present, including representatives of different ; Visitors school and city organizations, husbands, wives, and children of School Board memhbrs and ' Recopgaized officials, and others. ■ LEGAL AND FINANCIAL REPORTS

Mr. Green, Tareasmrer, presented his report for the month of Decemhbr, handing a copy to the Clerk for her files.

Mr. Skaggs, who was absent at the initial ' roll call, entered the meeting during Mr. report. Mr. Prigmore, Audtor, presented to /the Board meembrs and officials an "Annaysis of Bonded Indebtedness to Final Ht^ii^-ty of Present Bond Issue, July 1, 1959 to June 30; 1974." On recommendtion of the Board Attorney, Mr. Thompson moved approval of the following

resolution, and the motion was seconded by Mr. Loot and carried on roll call, with Hl memhers voting "Ara": RESOLUTION

There is presented to the Board'and made a part of the records of the Dittrict an offer from Casady Hights Devvlopprs, Inc. to sell to this School Dittrict what will be Lot 14 in Block 5 of Casady Lakeside Estates for the sumeof $49,109.62 under the terns and condi-bions set out in said offer.

This miter having been studied carefully by the memhers of the Board for some time, and it being the dttt:mrut opinion of such memhbrs that the purchase of the above-mettioned Lot 14 under the terms add conditiots of said contract is for the best.interest of the Dittrict; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Tlhat the Dittrict purchase the above-mentioned Lot 14 under the -tejms of said offer, and that the Clerk of the Board be author­ ized to execute the Clerk's Certificate of Boord's acceptance and mil a copy of said Order with the Certificate executed to said Casady Heights Developprs, Inc., which will conssitute the same a contract between this Dittrict and the last men­ tioned corporation, and that the officers of the Board be directed to execute and deliver the warrant as in said accepted offer provided. On recomneenitiot of the Board Attorney, motion was made by Mr. Thompson and seconded by Mr. Bennntt to approve the following resolution, and the met ion carried dtttlmodsly on roll caH: RESOLUTION

Baker and wife in Nesbit's Addition and McCann Davis South Highland Addition (Filmiore School). BE IT RESOLVED, .
