PERSONNEL The following motion was made by Mr. Pearson, seconded by Mr. McCray, and carried upon roll call, all members present voting "Aye;"

That request be granted for re-election for the school year 1948-1949 of Administrative, Secretarial, Custodial and Service Department personnel, with the exception of the personnel who received letters of notification that their re-election would not be recommended, subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Education relating to leaves of absence, retirement, resignations, etc. These employees are to be reelected subject to the assignments and salaries to be fixed by the Board of Education after the approval of the budget for 1948-1949. In the case of employees who are on regular duty prior to the approval of the budget, the salaries are to be paid according to the 1947-1948 schedule until such budgets are approved; after their salaries are fixed, said salaries will be retroactive to July 1, 1948. All members of the instructional staff who have received or will receive contracts’., for the year 1948-49 wiho return such contracts properly executed after July 1, 1948 are employed according to the terms of such contracts, and such contracts are ratified
