For the 2025 edition of the Dallas Art Fair, Nicholas Metivier Gallery is pleased to present new work by three celebrated Canadian artists, Edward Burtynsky, Bobbie Burgers, and Steve Driscoll. All three artists share a unique ability to push their respective mediums into innovative territories: Edward Burtynsky captures landscapes that reveal humanity’s profound impact on the environment, transforming industrial and natural scenes into breathtaking large-scale photographic narratives. Bobbie Burgers explores the delicate complexity of forals through bold, gestural brushwork and unexpected color palettes that deconstruct and challenge traditional still life conventions. Steve Driscoll creates immersive and luminous paintings that utilize unconventional materials, like urethane, which invite viewers into their transformative visual environments.
