1. Shelving unit: is the main structure that supports the shelves and the documents.

2. Rails: are the tracks on which the shelving units move.

3. Wheels: are mounted on the base of the shelving unit and move along the rails.

4. Shelves: are the horizontal components of the shelving unit on which the documents are placed.

5. Side panels: are the vertical components that connect the shelves and form the sides of the shelving unit.

6. Handles: are used to move the shelving units.

7. Locking system: is used to secure the shelving units and prevent them from opening or closing accidentally.

Unidad De Estanter A Fija

1.Unidad de estantería: es la estructura principal que soporta los estantes y los documentos. La unidad puede ser fija o movil

2.Riel: viene en pares y son las guías en las que se desplazan las unidades de estantería.

3.Ruedas: se montan en la base de la unidad de estantería y se desplazan sobre los rieles.

4.Estante: es el componente horizontal de la unidad de estantería en el que se ubican los documentos.

5.Panel frontal: es el componente vertical que une los estantes y forman los lados de la unidad de estantería.

6.Manija o volante: se usa para mover las unidades de estantería.

7.Puerta batiente: acceso al módulo a la unidad de estantería. Al estar abierta, posibilita el movimiento de las unidades móviles.

Types of rolling file system

Manual: The manual rolling file only moves with the force exerted by the user on the mobile shelving unit. These are usually simple units that can be easily moved with the handle located on the front panel. This type of file is always single-line shelving units.

Mechanical: The mechanical rolling file has a series of mechanisms that enable the movement of shelving units with greater weight and size. The movement is generated by turning the front crank located on the front panel. This type of file can have from one to four lines of shelving units.
