2022 Regulated Contaminants

Compliance is based on the locational running annual average calculation for four (4) quarters.

Lead and Copper samples are collected every three (3) years from homes meeting regulatory criteria. The value reported as the 90th percentile means that 90% of the samples collected had lead concentrations that were equal to or less than 3.94 ppb in 2021.

Surface Water Monitoring - CRYPTOSPORIDIUM

The City of Mesa performed surface water monitoring for Cryptosporidium in 2020. Eight (8) samples were collected. There was no indication of the presence of Cryptosporidium in our source water during the 2020 calendar year.

Drinking water in the City of Mesa comes from surface water and groundwater sources. Depending on utility operations, the water that you consume may have a higher percentage of groundwater. Our groundwater sources also vary in the concentration of mineral deposits and hardness. We provide a range for the sources that we sampled in 2021 and 2022.
