PUBLIC AFFAIRS FELLOWSHIPS EARN YOUR MASTER OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS IN ONE YEAR — WITH WORK EXPERIENCE AND REDUCED TUITION. These competitive fellowships offer you meaningful real-world field experiences in the fields of public administration, public policy, and not-for-profit management, and the peace of mind that you’ll be saving thousands of dollars in tuition. With the guidance of experienced site-based supervisors and M.P.A. program faculty, you’ll have the support you need to excel in your field placement, graduate studies and career development.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS If you’re selected for our competitive, reduced-tuition Public Affairs Fellowship, you will: • Complete a nine-month, on-site practicum • Provost fellows serve 15 hours a week at your placement site while taking graduate courses in the evenings full time through the academic year. • Presidential fellows serve 25 hours a week at your placement site while taking graduate courses in the evenings full time through the academic year. • Earn your 32-credit Master of Public Affairs in one year APPLICATION PROCESS
To be considered for a graduate fellowship, apply to the Master of Public Affairs program and indicate your fellowship interest within your online application. Upon acceptance, you may be asked to interview for a fellowship position based on the strength of your application. If you are offered and accept a fellowship position, you will not be eligible for any other discounts or scholarships, including a merit-based Dean scholarship or the Double Warrior alumni scholarship.
