PRESIDENTIAL FELLOWSHIPS: COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT • HIGHER EDUCATION EARN YOUR M.ED. With the guidance of experienced site-based supervisors and program faculty, you’ll have the support you need to excel in your field placement and in your graduate studies.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS If you’re selected for our full-tuition, prestigious Presidential fellowship, you will: • Complete a nine-month field-based experience in a partner school, college, or community-based organization • Serve 25 hours a week at your placement site while taking evening graduate courses in summer, fall and spring terms • Earn your 36-credit Master of Education in Higher Education or Community Engagement in one year, tuition free APPLICATION PROCESS
As a first step, you will be notified on a rolling basis of a decision into the M.Ed. graduate program for which you applied. You may be invited to interview for a fellowship position based on the strength of your application. Interview Day brings together site supervisors and potential fellows. Great care is taken to match students with appropriate fellowship placement sites.
