Rec Center News May 2020 During the temporary public health closures, the Rec Center has maintained the facilities as allowed under the applicable orders so once the order is lifted, the Rec Center can reopen and resume normal recreation and sports activities. Re-opening will require availability of experienced recreation and sports staff. The Board of Directors decided to continue to pay its recreation center employees through May 16th to avoid jeopardizing the ability to re-open quickly. At the May 6th Board meeting, the Board will review the status of public health orders, the prospects for the summer season, and then decide how to proceed. Several of our residents have requested a reduction or rebate of service fees to reflect the facility closures and event cancellations. It will take some time to determine the overall financial impact of the closures. At some future date, once the financial impacts are known, the Board will review the matter and consider whether to implement a fee adjustment.

As of the publication date, the Rec Center does not have any events to list due to COVID 19.
