STATE OF THE SCHOOL
A Message From Our President I want to begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to our students, families, faculty, staff, Board of Directors, alumnae, donors, and community partners for the many ways you support Mercy High School. Because of this community, we are able to live out our mission each day: providing an exceptional Catholic education rooted in the charism and values of the Sisters of Mercy. This past year has been a year of growth, reflection, and renewed vision for the future. We launched our new strategic plan, Walking Together in Mercy, strengthened the ways we support our students, expanded our engagement with the community, and continued our commitment to making a Mercy education accessible to families throughout Omaha and beyond. At the heart of all we do are our students. We have watched them grow not only as scholars, but as leaders, women of faith, and young women who recognize their responsibility to serve others and make a difference in the world. Our goal is not simply to prepare students for college or careers, but to form young women who are grounded in faith, guided by strong values, equipped with courage, and committed to the dignity of every person. That mission is made possible through partnerships. Our families entrust us with what is most precious to them. Our faculty and staff dedicate themselves to the formation and education of each student. Our Board provides leadership and stewardship. Our alumnae carry the Mercy mission into their communities and throughout the world. Our donors and community partners invest in the future of Mercy and ensure that the opportunity for a Mercy education remains strong. Every contribution of time, talent, prayer, encouragement, and financial support strengthens our mission and helps Mercy continue to thrive. Thank you for believing in Mercy High School and for walking alongside us. Together, rooted in the legacy of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy, we are preparing the next generation of compassionate, confident, and courageous young women to lead with faith, serve with purpose, and be a voice for dignity and respect. With gratitude,
Mrs. Mary Gibb President
