Class-based with supervised outdoor access Activities that are planned for inside are directly mirrored outdoors. Play is still heavily supported and protected within the timetable.

Maths and Literacy

P2-P3 will be largely structured around Maths and Literacy tasks and activities in the classroom

Concepts include place value, addition and subtraction, properties of shapes taught through modelled activities followed by consolidation tasks

Phonics

Phonics will be taught through a distinct phonics program and will be working in parallel to various writing and reading activities

Whilst more structured and adult led, the learning will still be heavily influenced by practical and hands-on approach
