WHAT IS THE SECRET BEHIND THE SUCCESS OF THIS YEAR’S TEAM?
“I believe our success is leader-driven. The ability to have seniors who have been around in this conference for a while is like having extra coaches on the field.”
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN MACON AND WHY?
“The (athletic training) treatment room. Ms. Kim (Wynn) helps me with any nagging soreness or pain.”
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE ACTIVITY AS A CHILD?
“As a kid, I always played basketball either on the side of the house or with the AAU and team schools I competed with.”
WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER TO BE YOUR GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT?
“For me, it is being able to leave Vanceboro, N.C., and being afforded the opportunity to get a free education and play Division I football. That is my biggest blessing and accomplishment,”
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH YOUR FREE TIME WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE ANY PLANS?
“I play video games or get caught up on tv shows. I am not big on going out. I would rather rest and get ready for our next opponent.”
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOURSELF 5 YEARS AGO?
“I would tell myself to stay down, God has a plan, and to be true to myself.”
