WHAT IS

REEL MASTERS? Reel Masters is the UK’s first exhibition and competition held for saltwater and lure anglers. The saltwater and freshwater lure angling community have long-awaited a show catering to the needs of the thousands of anglers in the UK and beyond, bringing together everything they need in one place.

The Reel Masters show, held at the Weymouth Pavilion, will have boats, terminal tackle and everything in between.

The first edition of Reel Masters will be held September 30th – October 2nd 2022 in Weymouth, Dorset.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO AT REEL MASTERS? The exhibition portion of Reel Masters will be held at the Weymouth Pavilion, directly adjacent to Weymouth Harbour and pier. There will be multiple activities during the show, from Introduction to Angling experiences on and off the water to educational talks and classes. The Pavilion will house a stage with a schedule filled with discussions from industry experts, influencers and demonstrations.

Outside of the Pavilion, there will be local food vendors, a heated marquee for exhibiting brands, seating areas and outside exhibition space.

Saturday evening, there will also be a party with live music and prize-giving, with the chance to meet the anglers participating in the competition. Sunday t​ he competition boats will be in the harbour for the opportunity to talk to the brands and see and test their products on the water.

BRANDED BOAT COMPETITION

Inside heated marquee space available at £120 per square metre*

The competition will be held alongside the Reel Masters consumer show with its fishing festival atmosphere. The competition will offer the competing brands the opportunity to engage in some friendly rivalry while building brand and product awareness. It will provide the opportunity to invite team members, dealers, staffand customers to participate in the competition while team building, educating staff or customers, and generating media content.

Spaces available range from 3x2m to 6x6m Outside exhibitor space available at £80 per square metre* *These rates do not include additional add-ons, including VIP on-site parking, electricity costs, signage and additional exhibitor passes.

Forms with these options will be sent at least 90 days before the opening of the show.

competition will consist of a set number of nominated target species with an opportunity to gain extra points for every additional species caught.

Branded boat entry is £5k per boat. This includes entry into the Friday and Saturday competition and a boat on the water Sunday to take out potential customers.

The anglers will compete in the challenging and bountiful waters of Weymouth and Portland. The strictly catch and release

KAYAK ANGLER OF THE YEAR Kayak Angler of the Year will have its first-ever saltwater event at Reel Masters 2022. Reel Masters partnership with Kayak Angler of the Year competition will become one of the highlights for kayak anglers all over the UK. There are several events and kayakers who fish all events can compete for an entry to the Hobie Fishing Worlds.

The Kayak Angler of the Year (KAOTY) is organised by Dave Morris from Anglers Afloat, who is also a member of the Hobie UK Fishing Team. The KAOTY competition is a lure only, catch and release competition in the bountiful waters off Weymouth.

Anglers will have the chance to target bass, mackerel and pollock amongst other species and will be a single day of fishing on the Saturday of Reel Masters 2022.
