The ramp systems shall take into account the following:— the vessels operate on slipways in a variety of ports on the West Coast of Scotland and Western Isles. The slipways in the ports are mostly protected by small harbours/piers and alignment structures,— the concrete slipways at the ports are at a gradient of 1:8,— the existing ramps act as an anchor on the slipway.
