BIOGRAPHY

Ian Cooke, began sailing as a child, studied at Warsash Maritime College before working on private yachts. He ran running a number of British-based marine companies before joining C-Quip Marine Equipment in 1998. Ian now owns and runs the business alongside Onward Trading and other marine companies.

Ian has always taken a keen interest in the industry and has been involved with British Marine for many years including having served as Chairman of British Marine South and a Director of British Marine Boat Shows. He currently serves as President.

When he’s not helping businesses fulfil their ambitions, Ian can be found racing sailing yachts or at Warsash Sailing Club in Southampton, teaching children aged six to 16 to sail.
